What You Can Expect: A true timber-frame craftsman home, Winters Haven exudes warmth and "welcome." With soaring rafters, high ceilings, and hardwood floors throughout, you will immediately want to make plans to come back again! The great room with two-story stone fireplace, adjacent to the fully equipped chefs grade kitchen with granite counter tops, is the heart of this home. This is where everyone will gather to share time together, but with 4,000 plus sq. ft. available to you, there is plenty of space to go off and find your own serenity.

Kids love disappearing in to the sleeping lofts. Step out on to the expansive deck, with open and covered areas, just off the great room to enjoy the sunset, listen to nature, or watch the fireflies. And of course you have the HOT TUB!! There are plenty of additional amenities in the Falls at Edenderry development for all ages to enjoy.

Girls Trip/ Sorority Reunion

"Trip was for a sorority reunion of 7 women. We stayed for 3 nights in early December 2024. Great place with awesome views, close to Asheville, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms & sitting areas to spread out. Large kitchen with all amenities to make our trip very comfortable. Great hosts! We had an awesome stay. Wish we would have had more time to try out the hot tub.

"Absolutely stunning property! We attended a wedding in Asheville perfect location. We shared the property with three other couples plenty of room and very private. Lots of Space

"Our family of 7 stayed here for 4 nights. The place is huge. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space. There was everything needed for the kitchen. The game room was great for the older kids and adults. It was also nice having a living room downstairs and upstairs. There were some issues. We only had 2 cars and I can’t imagine if there were 4-5 couples trying to park in the driveway. There is only room for 2 cars and there is no turn around area. The hot tub is in the back of the home but you can only access it going out the garage. There should be a door going out the back of the garage or stairs coming off the deck. There is also no light in that area so it is very dark getting back there. It would also be nice to have shower doors or curtain for the showers. It would allow for some privacy or keep the steam in. There are lights in the shower so I’m not sure why they are open. This may be a preference of our family and not concern for anyone else. The downstairs fridge is a nice touch. Perhaps a cabinet and microwave could make it a kitchenette where people with mobility issues could occupy the downstairs and not worry about navigating the stairs. It would also be nice to have a TV in the great room. It may take away from the fireplace but would make it more inviting. It was also very dark and some type of motion light in the front along with some type of lighted/solar numbers at the entrance would be helpful for people getting to the property at night.

40th Birthday Celebration

"The house was accurate to the description and photos! My friends and I celebrated my 40th birthday by cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the hot tub, and playing games in the garage. It was a great space for a special event!! One of my friends accidentally left her bag in the house and Yonder was responsive and helpful in getting it returned, much appreciated!! My only note it was quite expensive and the price appeared to be inflated perhaps due to being close to Christmas. Total cost was $3000 for 2 days whereas I looked at other nights that were closer to $500 per night which is much more reasonable. So maybe try to go on an off weekend or during the week that’s not close to a holiday. Regardless of the high cost, we had an excellent trip! I would definitely recommend this house to others.

"My husband and I and three other couples stayed at this property for 6 days in early November. The house is beautiful and is located in a very private community in Fairview about 15 minutes from Asheville. We were 8 adults in our 60s+ and found the house extremely comfortable and well equipped.

Close To Downtown

"Excellent place to stay. Our party of ~28 also rented two other properties from Yonder (Timber Ridge and Winter Haven) for the same long weekend. All three properties exceeded our expectations. Great location close to downtown Asheville as well as easy access to a great hike (Strawberry Gap). The properties were very well maintained, clean and comfortable. For example the billiards tables and equipment were in the best shape I've every seen in a rental. We did not need to contact the property manager for any issues, but they communicated with us well via email before, during and after our stay. They definitely earned a 5 star rating.

"This house feels like a mountain cabin and was spacious enough for our group of 10 adults. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped and we loved the porch. Be aware: we saw a small black bear in the backyard which was a very cool experience, but you should definitely take bear precautions in the neighborhood (eg don't leave food out, walk in groups, make noise).

"Perfect size for our 6 adults and 4 kids. Kids loved the game room garage. Good amount of bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen was great and large for everyone to be together cooking. Very nice fire pit and hot tub area. Room above master had a loud creaking floor when walked on so keep in mind who you put in that room; if they are early risers or night owls, it will wake up the guests in the master below. We loved our stay here. Very peaceful neighborhood.

"We had a wedding and reception at Highland Brewing to attend with a large group from the Charlotte area. This is a really great place for a large group, with a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a big group. Plenty of space to spread out, a short drive to downtown, and everything you would need for a nice stay. We didn't have a lot of time to venture out much due to the wedding, but for our purposes it was perfect. Check out the Local Joint restaurant too if you get the chance!

"We had a great 4 night stay with 5 couples. Very spacious and roomy with bedrooms on all 3 floors. Enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. The kitchen is very well stocked. We also had a fire in the fire pit one night. We were gone most of the days as it’s very convenient to downtown, hiking and breweries. The beds were very comfortable. We did use Uber one afternoon and it did take about 15 minutes to get a driver out, but you just have to plan accordingly. Overall a great place and would stay there again.

"A group of 10 of us met up for a birthday celebration. We liked that the house was a quick 10-15 minute ride downtown. It was super spacious which allowed for everyone to have privacy at their discretion and then gather in the beautiful kitchen/den when we were doing group activities. We enjoyed the hot tub briefly (it was 20 degrees and biting wind outside). Great spot for a large group!

"We had such a wonderful time this past weekend! The host was very responsive throughout the process and communicated things well. The rooms were plentiful and all were nice! The great room was perfect for gathering with friends. The couches in the great room on the main level and the couches in the basement/bottom floor, were all so comfortable and inviting. We weren’t far from downtown Asheville and the breweries there. The fireplace in the great room was perfect and cozy and the house conveniently had the firewood we needed for as surprisingly snowy March weekend! Just overall a wonderful stay and would absolutely rent from this host again!

"This was an incredible house. Four families with 5 little ones - and we felt we had plenty of space. Rooms are spacious with great storage. Common spaces are awesome. Two refrigerators was so helpful! We had a hiccup with the washer, but Yonder was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely book again.

"Our stay at WinterHaven was wonderful. We had a large group of 12 and it accommodated everyone well. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed, and it was very clean and in excellent shape. In fact, many people in our group were saying this was the nicest vacation rental they have ever stayed in. We were only about 15 mins from downtown Asheville where we spent the majority of our days which is definitely a plus. We enjoyed playing ping pong, pool, and hanging by the fire at night which were great activities for a large group. Will definitely consider a Yonder property for our next vacation!

"Our group had a wonderful and restful time staying here! Communication with the hosts was quick and easy and check-in was seamless. The house can hold a LOT of people, with plenty of separate spaces for people to spread out. Remember to dig around to find the specific instructions for the house's location; Google Maps will send you farther up the hill than you need to go.

Great Stay

"It’s a great open living room with a real fireplace that goes up to the 2nd floor - very pretty. Nice front porch to drink coffee and watch the birds. Driveway is a bit steep and tricky to maneuver more than 2 cars - but we did some shuffling. Beds are comfy and clean - bathrooms were nice and updated. Master suite in main level opens up to the balcony out back. Huge kitchen with breakfast bar is nice! Great stove and big frig. Plenty of cookware and dishes. Coffee pot not a keurig. Driving to downtown was about 10 mins and no traffic. Just hop on the highway and you are there.
