10/10

Vacation Date: September 9, 2026

"10/10 definitely will return. The home was perfect for our needs, well designed and laid out and had plenty of space with both the main level and basement living rooms. The game room (garage) was great for the kids. The community pool was a great addition to the amenities!

Beautiful Property

Vacation Date: August 2, 2026

"My family of 14, seven children and 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winters Haven! The property was beautiful (we saw a bear the first day) and the house had large bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a second den area adjacent to the ping pong and pool tables which everyone enjoyed. The furnishings are a bit outdated and some should probably be replaced (gross recliner and slit leather chairs) but the house was comfortable, roomy, and very clean. Wish we had paid to have the pool heater turned on.

"Trip was for a sorority reunion of 7 women. We stayed for 3 nights in early December 2024. Great place with awesome views, close to Asheville, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms & sitting areas to spread out. Large kitchen with all amenities to make our trip very comfortable. Great hosts! Lots of Space

Vacation Date: March 10, 2024

"Our family of 7 stayed here for 4 nights. The place is huge. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space. There was everything needed for the kitchen. The game room was great for the older kids and adults. It was also nice having a living room downstairs and upstairs. There were some issues. We only had 2 cars and I can’t imagine if there were 4-5 couples trying to park in the driveway. There is only room for 2 cars and there is no turn around area. The hot tub is in the back of the home but you can only access it going out the garage. There should be a door going out the back of the garage or stairs coming off the deck. There is also no light in that area so it is very dark getting back there. It would also be nice to have shower doors or curtain for the showers. It would allow for some privacy or keep the steam in. There are lights in the shower so I’m not sure why they are open. This may be a preference of our family and not concern for anyone else. The downstairs fridge is a nice touch. Perhaps a cabinet and microwave could make it a kitchenette where people with mobility issues could occupy the downstairs and not worry about navigating the stairs. It would also be nice to have a TV in the great room. It may take away from the fireplace but would make it more inviting. It was also very dark and some type of motion light in the front along with some type of lighted/solar numbers at the entrance would be helpful for people getting to the property at night.

40th Birthday Celebration

Vacation Date: December 15, 2023

"The house was accurate to the description and photos! My friends and I celebrated my 40th birthday by cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the hot tub, and playing games in the garage. It was a great space for a special event!! One of my friends accidentally left her bag in the house and Yonder was responsive and helpful in getting it returned, much appreciated!! My only note it was quite expensive and the price appeared to be inflated perhaps due to being close to Christmas. Total cost was $3000 for 2 days whereas I looked at other nights that were closer to $500 per night which is much more reasonable. So maybe try to go on an off weekend or during the week that’s not close to a holiday. Regardless of the high cost, we had an excellent trip! I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Great location close to downtown Asheville as well as easy access to a great hike (Strawberry Gap). The properties were very well maintained, clean and comfortable. For example the billiards tables and equipment were in the best shape I've every seen in a rental. We did not need to contact the property manager for any issues, but they communicated with us well via email before, during and after our stay. They definitely earned a 5 star rating.
