Outdoor Features

Exclusively private access to a custom new 40' x 16’ in-ground swimming pool. The new custom pool is conveniently located directly adjacent to the home. The pool is privately used by only the Three Timbers homes: Pine Hollow, Mountain Haven & Winters Haven. It is adjacent to, and easily accessible via a short walk from each home.
Expansive partially covered deck just off the great room—ideal for coffee, sunsets, and stargazing
Hot tub for relaxing after hiking, brewery runs, or Biltmore days
Private pond (fun for feeding fish and enjoying the scenery)
Fire pit area for s’mores and evening stories under the stars
Mountain community setting at approximately 2,500’ elevation
Spacious back porch with comfortable seating and a gas grill
Guests also have access to the Edenderry Pond, a shared community amenity featuring a small beach area, dock, and community fire pit—a great spot to relax and enjoy the mountain setting. Catch-and-release fishing is welcome, and swimming is permitted at your own risk.

The swimming pool is open 9am - 9pm in pool season.
Heating is available upon request for $100/day if the average forecasted air temperatures are above 55°F during your stay, and per the “Pool Availability” calendar below.

"Mountain Haven was the perfect spot for our family reunion! The house was very (very!) clean and incredibly well stocked. We had plenty of room for our different family units to spread out and we all enjoyed sitting on the deck and catching up. Our family also rented two of the other houses from Yonder and it was easy to visit between houses or gather at the new pool. Yonder was great with communication and made sure our stay was enjoyable and this location is very close to hikes, breweries and everything Asheville has to offer. We had two issues but for the record we worked around them and did notify Yonder - if we had I'm sure they would have addressed. One issue was with the wi-fi - the connection was very slow and often did not have internet. For those of us working, we had to use our personal hotspots. Also the downstairs bedroom is not a queen - the bed is a full size and sags a bit in the middle so this did make us change up sleeping arrangements. Everyone else reported their beds to be very comfortable though! We would happily rent again from Yonder!

"We stayed here for the weekend for a women’s church retreat and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home had so much space to really spread out and comfortably enjoy ourselves. All the rooms and bathrooms had nice touches and plenty of space to hang and store things. You could tell a lot of thought and intentionality went into the design. The outside was serene and the koi pond and waterfall were just delightful. The kitchen and butler’s pantry were so spacious well stocked. The Yonder team was very communicative throughout the entire process and provided discounts to local attractions as well. They were also flexible with our check in and check out times which we greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The place looks even better than the pictures; an excellent, luxury home for large groups.

"The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, making it so convenient to explore the area. The house itself was stunning; beautiful location, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It easily fit our entire (large) group, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. Each room was spotless and well-equipped, creating a real “home away from home” atmosphere. From start to finish, the hosting team went above and beyond. "My bachelorette party loved our stay at this Yonder cabin! We didn’t want to leave the house—it was so cozy and there was plenty of space for everyone. It can be a little tricky to find as there is no number sign on the road, but the quality of the amenities and space are exceptional. They have thought of everything to make you comfortable. They even let us have a few hours of early check in and late check out at no extra charge. A few minor communication delays, and they made me sign an additional rental agreement (that was weird, and didn’t return my calls as to why?!) but I would come back.

Awesome House

"This house was awesome. Incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was really easy to get Ubers into Asheville and back home from the bars at night (although it did take up to 15 minutes for them to come at times). The kitchen is very well stocked and even has stainless steel pans instead of the typical scratched to death nonstick. The ONLY complaint is that the hot tub seemed like an afterthought; there were no lights near it so you couldn't really use it after dark (which is like 5 pm in the fall), and it was a little uneven so water would overflow on one side and be low on another if more than 2 people were in it. I would gladly rent this house again!

"Mountain Haven was everything they said it was and more. The property was beautiful, easily accommodating our group of 12. It was an easy drive to downtown Asheville, but our the house was so wonderful, we ended up spending most of our free time at our rental. The kitchen had everything we need to cook some amazing meals, only to be surpassed by the large dining table on the porch which comfortably sat all of us. We hope to stay there again next year!!

"Mountain Haven was a perfect home for our family gathering of 12. The house was well stocked. We discovered there was an additional refrigerator on the lower level which was very helpful for hosting a large group. We did have an issue our first day with the water pressure so contacted the property management company who came out right away and took care of the issue. I would rent this home again if we return to the Asheville area.

"This home was absolutely amazing! We had a group of 12 traveling for a tennis weekend and it comfortably accommodated all of us. It was a quick, easy drive to downtown Asheville, but we loved the house and its amenities so much (fully stocked kitchen, outdoor living area, and hot tub), we only left the property to play tennis. "This luxurious cabin in the woods was a perfect retreat for our large group. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to Asheville I'd recommend a stay here. The house offers multiple areas for relaxing and reading, as well as game room that was a great addition to our trip. "This house is located in the mountains of North Carolina, and within close proximity of Asheville. Easy 20 minutes into town or the Biltmore. Great location if you want to be in the mountains and have access to the city. The house is nice and roomy; well laid out for a group gathering. It has a great balcony and views. The main level and upper level bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, and the laundry room has a commercial washer and dryer. The community playground and large fire pit are across the street were a bonus.

Great House for a Girls Weekend!

"This was such a great house for a girls weekend getaway! The location was convenient for getting to downtown Asheville breweries, restaurants, etc. but far away enough to feel unplugged. We spent a lot of time in the living room/kitchen area- it was a plus that they were open to each other. Highly recommend for a large group weekend getaway!

Mountain house

"The house was great for our family - 3 generations under one roof! Kitchen and dining room table was large enough to accommodate 10 of us. The game room and hot tub were great. Didn't use the firepit b/c it rained. Location was convenient to Asheville, an easy 15 min drive. Easy to miss the driveway on the way in or in the dark. Might be easier to just tell future guests it is the 1st driveway on the right. Overall very happy with the house and the family loved it!

Wonderful Week at Mountain Haven

"We traveled for a 3 family, multigenerational reunion of 12. There were wonderful suggestions for activities and lots of things to do at the house itself. There were plenty of kitchen cooking implements and even a large supply of small appliances. We cooked all our meals over the course of a week and never needed any cooking tool not provided. With 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, and two bedrooms and an additional bathroom downstairs, there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Wonderful Weekend in Asheville!

"I stayed at Mountain Haven with a group of friends for a low-key mountain weekend and the property definitely exceeded our expectations! The house was perfect with plenty of room for 14 adults. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and the large kitchen was definitely helpful for cooking all of our meals at home. The close proximity (15 mins) to downtown Asheville and Asheville airport (25 mins) was super convenient and we went to a super cute brewery that was less than five minutes away. The check in process was very easy and they even let us check in early. I would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to come again.
