Dive into the only freshwater race of the Carolina Swim Series! Experience the scenic beauty of Lake Lure in early summer, offering an ideal setting for open water swimming. With water temperatures hovering around 70 degrees and the absence of jellyfish, currents, or saltwater, it’s a perfect environment for a refreshing swim. Proceeds benefiting the Outreach of Hickory Nut Gorge charity and local first responders.
