For over 12 years, Yonder’s focus has been on the guest experience and comfort while on vacation at a Yonder home.
As we all adjust to the new norms and expectations when it comes to travel and your vacation in the mountains, we want to provide assurance of a safe stay plus some Yonder Travel Tips to make things easier.
Safe & Healthy Practices:
Despite the progress North Carolina has made and our relatively low case count, COVID-19 is still a highly contagious virus. It is important that we work together and are mindful of all citizens by following public health guidance to safeguard our communities. We need your help –
- Wear a cloth face covering in public
- Keep 6 feet apart and avoid close contact
- Wash your hands often, or use hand sanitizers
Grocery Stores:
All grocery stores are open and many provide curbside pickup and even delivery (with some planning.) We would recommend finding what grocery stores are nearby in the Guest Portal Welcome Book, or contacting us directly. We also recommend contacting our partners at Tick-Tock Concierge. For a nominal charge, they will pick up all your groceries and deliver to your house.
Restaurants:
Phase 2 of the reopening which begins Friday May 22, 2020 at 5pm, will allow for limited opening of restaurants that follow strict safety protocols and with reduced capacity of 50%. For an updated list please click here.
Breweries:
After many weeks of being closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s finally possible to enjoy a cold beer at a local brewery! There are restrictions and we urge responsibility and adherence to the local guidelines.

Blue Ridge Parkway
All of the Blue Ridge Parkway is currently open in North Carolina, but restrooms, picnic areas & other facilities remain closed. To learn more, please click here.
