Join Tryon Fine Arts Center once again presents its not-to-be-missed winter music celebration, Chase Away the Blues. This annual extravaganza is set to return in January 2024, bringing warmth and vibrancy to the winter nights! The Veh Stage will showcase phenomenal performances by the Stacy Mitchhart Band, Lon Eldridge, and regional darling Peggy Ratusz & Band. Kick off the evening in style at the ever-popular Blues Patron Lounge opening at 5:30 pm, featuring live music, an open bar, and delectable fare provided by Tryon Resort in the Pavilion. For our General Audience patrons, there will be beverages and a food truck available. With music this sizzling, rest assured, your feet will be stomping and your body swaying in no time!

Influenced by the vibrant art history of the Asheville area and the open-mindedness of its music enthusiasts, drummer-composer Alan Miguel Hall established AJC as a creative outlet, embodying his diverse inspirations and fostering collaboration with fellow musicians since his move to Asheville in 2019. AJC, a collective of nine versatile musicians, operates as a flexible unit, deliberately designed to offer maximum creative freedom within each performance and from one show to the next. The upcoming AJC quintet performance at Tryon Fine Arts Center features a lineup of exceptional musicians, including violinist Christian Howes, multi-reed player Will Boyd, vibraphonist Jason DeCristofaro, bassist Josef Butts, and Hall on drums.
