"A large, clean, and well stocked property with a large yard. It was way more than the two of us needed, but it the space was appreciated. Multiple decks and a very relaxing location close (2 mi) from downtown. Realize that a sedan or small type of car might have trouble with the entrance so an SUV or truck is probably required. 2WD can make it, but 4WD would be better.

"The House lived up to its name! We had numerous great Pisgah Adventures during our stay! The house was very well situated for some great hiking and gravel biking adventures in Pisgah National Forest (near Brevard and Mills River) as well as in Dupont State Forest, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great location for trout fishing adventures in rivers and streams in these forests as well. And close to downtown Brevard for great dining options. The house more than met our needs - there were way more beds than we needed!

"It’s a nice wooden cabin style 3 story house. It was a great location to access Brevard and Mills River quickly. Nice deck and outside sitting to hang out and it was quiet. The biggest drawback would be the steep driveway and parking. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.

"The Pisgah Adventure Cottage is spacious and perfect. It’s tidy and clean. The layout is very comfortable. It’s very clean and inviting. We loved our stay! However, thankfully we drove our truck, as I would NOT have wanted to drive my car on the road to get to the cottage. It rained heavily during most of our stay, and the hilly, narrow and impassable dirt/gravel road would have been very risky. Very hilly and rough road.

"This house is absolutely phenomenal. While it was only my husband, our dog, and myself, so we didn't have time to enjoy all of the house in such a short time frame, but we will definitely be back in the future. So close, yet so far away from everything. Perfectly secluded. Driveway is a bit tricky if you don't have 4-wheel drive, but we managed. We absolutely LOVED this house and will be back. Very clean, very well maintained. Plenty of rooms and activities. We loved it.

"We visited the Brevard / Pisgah National Forest area briefly and were pleased to find this family-friendly cabin for our stay. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the bunk bed room and downstairs den (with toys and games!) for our boys. We also enjoyed the fire pit (stocked with firewood) and the back deck.

Spacious, clean house conveniently located near Brevard

"We absolutely loved this home! We (my husband. Myself and teen)were traveling with another family of 3 (2 adults, 1 teen). Pisgah Adventure Cottage was conveniently located near shopping, groceries, restaurants, hiking, etc. the home was clean and the layout was perfect for us. Large common areas but bedrooms on different levels. The outdoor decks and fire pit were an added bonus for relaxing in the evenings. We do have some suggestions to help future guests: 1). The driveway to the property is not well marked so it is difficult to see after sundown. If you pass the driveway, it is challenging to turn around on the narrow, gravel, uphill main road. Then, you can’t turn right into drive because the turn is too sharp so….down the gravel road you go to turn around and try again. Lol This is important info because the driveway is VERY STEEP, GRAVEL, downhill to a concrete parking pad with only a single railroad tie to keep you from driving over the ledge/drop off. We share this information so the host can hopefully mark the driveway entrance a little better AND to forewarn future guests of the steep driveway down to the property. Otherwise…if you are looking for a large, clean home that feels like your secluded in the mountains but you’re actually in close proximity to everything then this is the property for you. The house came with everything completely stocked (toilet paper, coffee pods, washer/dryer and supplies, firewood, games for every age group and more), We did have a small issue with the master bedroom toilet not flushing, however, we sent an email on Sunday morning and someone was there to unclog it within a couple of hours. The toilet still wouldn’t flush even the smallest amount of toilet paper BUT there are two other bathrooms in the house so we made it work.

Clean, lots of amenities, and more space than we thought!

"Great value for the price. We really enjoyed our first stay here. Plenty of instruction given both online and in a print binder on the premises and helpful hints posted where useful. If you have forgotten an item they have a generous number of courtesy items such as detergent & drier sheets, pods for the dishwasher; even ziplock bags. Plenty of towels too! The kitchen was stocked w/ plenty of dishes / pots & pans, cutting boards etc. The grill on the deck had its own supply drawer in the kitchen. We cooked daily and besides not finding a whisk this home had absolutely everything we needed including Keurig & traditional coffee maker. No small children with us but there is a great bunk room, plenty of board games for a rainy day, and plenty of couches to hang out & relax on after a long day of mountain biking or hiking. Outside there is a nice fire-pit and a nearby stack of logs (the owner should really cover the firewood so it stays dry/cured), plenty of seating and a great front porch & back deck. NOTE: The loose gravel driveway is best approached by NOT going directly down to the house on the steep drive but swinging around the garage by going straight/right then left after the structure and driving onto the concrete pad to the left of the house. Go out the same way you went in. IF you have a true 4 wheel drive equipped vehicle then enjoy the 22% gradient for the most direct route. With no leaves on the trees the rural highway noise was noticeable if outside.

Great location, good stay. Warning to drivers!

"Overall, I was happy with the rental. Comfy beds, plenty of room for families, and a good layout for hanging out together with plenty of games for the kids. The location is great for those looking to hike in nearby Pisgah Forest and restaurants in Brevard are just minutes away as well. Check-in and check-out were super easy. A few things to note: - The driveways are steep, gravel, and were rutted out in spots making entry and exit very difficult. I would recommend a 4wd vehicle, especially nothing low to the ground or with bald tires or you'd likely be stuck and unable to leave. Even our 2wd Highlander struggled to get out up the hill. I'm glad we didn't arrive in the dark as it's pretty sketchy getting in until you've done it once. - The propane "fireplace" downstairs is not ventilated! When my family came into the property and found the pilot light lit, the bottom floor reeked of gas and made us all very concerned for our safety. We shut off the valve, opened windows, and aired out the house. There is a carbon monoxide sensor downstairs but I'm not sure it's working as I can't imagine a safe way to run that fireplace with no venting. It definitely should not have been left on between rentals.

Wonderful Cabin in Brevard

"We enjoyed our stay so much - wish we had one more day there. We did a quick family getaway and it was great for multigenerational people. The downstairs was great for kids - stocked with toys and plenty of entertainment. We also enjoyed the large backyard, overlooking a shallow creek. Would have been so much fun to play in if it were Summer or Spring. Also - very well stocked kitchen. Would highly recommend!

Felt like Home!

"The cabin was great! Very homey. Had everything we wanted and needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and everywhere else along with a few extras like books, games, even a vinyl record player. Plenty of space for all of us. We did have my 91 year old father-in-law with us so I should have paid more attention to a few details such as no first floor bedroom. He managed OK but would've been nice for him to not have to go up and down stairs so much. Also leading up to the porch there are aesthetically pleasing large boulder for steps but also proved a challenge for someone of his age. We loved everything about the cabin except the road leading up to it and the driveway. We arrived after dark and both situations were challenging to navigate. If you are used to country roads or steep gravel drives it will be no problem but if you are mainly a city driver you may find these aspects a challenge. Overall we are very happy with this rental and the road and driveway would not have changed our minds. We would like to come back when the weather is a little nicer to enjoy the amazing deck and patio.

"Rented this amazing cabin for my granddaughter as a birthday present and for making the Deans list at college again. So very proud of her. She and a friend said the cottage was lovely and very romantic. Everything was just as the pictures showed, everything they could possibly need was there. "I have young children and they were always preoccupied with either the toys provided, the fun little creek access, or the loft in the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen had everything needed for our stay and felt very comfortable the entire time we were there. We had one little hiccup where the pilot light went out in the fireplace and Yonder responded very quickly and sent over Kim to take care of it. I am very appreciative of quick responses and they met every expectation I could have had.

The Absolute Best!

"This is the absolute best vacation rental we've stayed at. It was clean. Even the floors (we've had trouble with that in the past and have a toddler, so there is lots of floor time!). They had everything we needed - pot holders, dish towels, sugar for coffee, extra trash bags (and good quality ones), tabs for dishwasher, detergent for laundry, extra toilet paper, mat for drying dishes, etc. The bedrooms were wonderful - soft, comfortable beds, quality linens. There is a small stream behind the house my toddler loved. The gas grill worked. The patio and porches were wonderful, and had plenty of furniture. The only thing to note - and this isn't bad, just something to be aware of - it's a steep gravel driveway to get to the place. I'm glad we had the truck. I think a car could make it, but I wouldn't want to try it myself.

Beautiful Home

"This place was exactly what the pictures show. It was so peaceful. It was large enough for our group—we had 6 people. We never felt on top of each other. The kitchen was well furnished with everything you would need. Love the fact they provided coffee, laundry soap, bath soap, hangers; really they think of it all. Love the fact you can sit in the back porch and just relax, and hear the stream in the back. It was so peaceful. It was close to Brevard and about a 30-40 minute drive to the center of Asheville. We did a lot of beautiful hikes, breweries, shopping, and Asheville has amazing restaurants. I would totally come back here and stay. With that said there are a couple of cons. I would highly recommend a SUV or a car that is up high to get in and out of the driveway (it’s very steep). And the sign that gives you the address was not in a clear spot. But we loved it

"My wife and I really enjoyed our time here! We definitely would consider coming here again! Just be careful to watch the weather during your stay. There are two downhill dirt and gravel driveways to this apartment and they get quite hard to ascend during rain. It rained twice while we stayed here and we couldn’t leave home either time with our all-wheel drive Subaru Crosstrek. But otherwise, this is a perfect, cozy, and very spacious place to stay!

Great Cottage in Brevard

"This place was a perfect spot to stay while planning hiking and mountain biking trips throughout Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Park. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. Kitchen came fully stocked with everything we needed. Only thing I'd mention for future guests was the part of the driveway that goes straight down ends with an abrupt ~6 ft drop on the backside. Little dangerous if you're arriving at night and unaware. Loved this house!

It’s stocked with toys and fun things for both adults and kids to enjoy. It’s close enough to enjoy Asheville while being right in the mountains. We highly recommend checking out Brevard, the town is similar to Asheville and has a wonderful downtown!

"Beautiful house with a peaceful stream in the back yard. We were impressed by all the toys left there (which our children really enjoyed). There were also plenty of children's books, and the dollhouse upstairs was a huge hit. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long day of hiking.

"Wonderful cabin! Driveway is very steep going down to the cabin. Very close to Asheville, Brevard, Hendersonville, and Etowah. We enjoyed waterfalls, good food, shopping and came back to a nicely appointed cabin. The downstairs bar area complete with TV, fireplace, and game table was a major plus! Book this one: you will not be disappointed.

"My family of 5 had a wonderful time at the Adventure Cottage for Christmas! The house was even better/bigger than the photos. We loved the large couch and living area - it was perfect for opening presents and watching movies together. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for family dinner. Everyone slept comfortably, even with two adults in the bunk room. This is definitely a great house for families with kids with all of the extra beds. We also appreciated the game collection and had fun playing Jenga and hanging out at the bar. We loved the record player! All three decks were amazing and we only wish we could have spent more time on them. We had a great time hanging out at the fire pit at night. The backyard is large and with a little creek, great for kids to run around and play. We enjoyed being close to downtown Brevard, hiking & and waterfalls, and only 30 minutes to Asheville. The driveway is a little steep and would recommend higher clearance if you've got it (all wheel drive wouldn't hurt either, especially in the case of winter weather). All in all, we loved our stay very much and would definitely return. A perfect house for all seasons! Thank you for making our family Christmas celebration one that we will never forget!

"The cabin was perfect. Clean and inviting! While we did not stay at the house for long periods of time, it was a cozy home; the beds were comfortable and the easiness of the check-in/out made it ideal. It is a perfect place for a family with children. The driveway might be a little challenging for a regular vehicle but with a 4 wheel drive it was a cinch. The home is conveniently located near the Pisgah National Forest, Brevard and Mills River.

Perfect for 2 Families

"Booking was very simple and communication was great. Upon arrival I was a bit nervous about the size, it seemed so small! But once you enter the property and see all of the levels, you overcome that fear. We loved how everything was divided up. This house is perfect for two families or a family with kids. A room with bunk beds and a “hidden” loft were enough to throw our kids into a tizzy! There was enough seating in the kitchen for all of us and plenty of room for everyone to chill in their own space. And the drop zone entry way was a perfect area to load and unload and throw everything right into the laundry. I love the area to begin with so you can’t go wrong there! Right down the road from The Hub and a short drive to Asheville.
