Security Deposit Reservations of 60 nights or fewer require a $1,000 security deposit. For stays longer than 60 nights, the security deposit is equal to one month’s rent.

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets Dog-friendly! Up to 2 dogs allowed with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.

Quiet Policy This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren’t permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Extended Stays Reservations of 30 days or more are subject to review; stays exceeding 90 days require an additional agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Military Discount We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 5 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name
Subject to security screening for verification and authenticity. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.

"Overall a good experience. Good communication. Comfortable and accessible space for the entire family trip (11 people and dog). Close to a lot the area offers and easy to get around. The pub down the road, Flying Squirrel had good food and beverage offerings. A couple of small issues with some of the upkeep and cleanliness at the property that I mentioned to the property managers and hopefully will be addressed moving forward. If I could give a 4.5.

Large Group

"This house and guest house were perfect for our large group seeking accommodations for a big wedding weekend. Those of us needing more sleep stayed in the guest house right there on the same property. Even with a couple of issues we needed assistance with - it only took a quick phone call for every one of them to be quickly resolved. I was very impressed with their maintenance man Richard and his repairs. Alicia was easy and professional to work with, helping us resolve our issues. And Josh, property manager went above and beyond to help us retrieve left behind items. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

"We cannot say enough amazing things about this property. The attention to detail from amenities to decor was OFF THE CHARTS! My daughter was getting married and many of my sibling drove from Chicago and Alabama. The accommodations far exceeded the description online!!! My husband and I have rented homes literally all over the world. And this was one of the best experiences!!!!There was even wood for the bonfire! Which was perfect with the hottub for our evening chill time… all I can say is 5 stars

"We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated how perfect the house was for our family, especially since we were in town for a wedding. It was a great space for us all to relax and make memories together. The kitchen was well equipped, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable for everyone. One of our favorite parts of the trip was spending evenings in the backyard, gathered around the fire pit—it really added to the experience. The location was both convenient and quiet, which made our stay even more comfortable. I did notice that while the property was generally well maintained, there were quite a few weeds in the backyard, some growing nearly up to the roof line. A little additional attention to weed control in that area would go a long way in keeping the backyard looking its best. Thank you again for providing such a welcoming place for our family. We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

Amazing Experience

"Very responsive. We needed a fan as one of our guests wanted a fan and they delivered it quickly. The hot tub was ready and running when we entered. Plenty of outdoor space and also privacy with grill and fireplace too. Kitchen had enough utensils. The other outhouse was great so we got plenty of space instead of getting crowded. Overall an amazing experience for our unique needs.

Nice home for young families

"The property is nice but not suited for elderly people, lots of stairs and the cabin is on a steep incline. Living room is small with not much seating. The steps to the downstairs needs treads on them, they are a fall hazard. House was clean, backyard with deck was awesome. If all you want is a place to sleep, it is good for large groups but if you plan on hanging out in the house, I would not recommend it.

"We had such a wonderful stay at this location! The home was beautifully decorated and was fully stocked with everything that we needed and more! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and outside grilling and around the fire pit! The property is wonderful for groups! Having two different spaces for people to stay (in the cottage and in the big house) was really helpful for our reunion! There are plenty of parking spots as well! The location of the home is great! It is tucked away in a cute little mountain neighborhood, but it is still close to parks and hiking and stores! If we ever come up to Asheville area again with a group, we will definitely stay here again!!

"Everything we could’ve asked for & more. There’s a new couch in the game room downstairs, and enough space for at least 2 air mattresses. The bean bag in the game room can also serve as a bed as it’s VERY comfortable.

"This house was great! It was clean upon arrival with modern furnishings, true to the listing. The hot tub was serviced right when we checked in so we know that was clean and running well. Plenty of room to hang out in the back yard and in the basement. Check in process was seamless.

Great space for a large family

"We had a great stay. Having the guest house available was very helpful. All amenities you could need were available and clean. The location is pretty convenient to stores and not far from downtown. The only challenge we had was figuring out the locks, but a quick google search solved that. Definitely recommend if you need a larger place in the area.

"Our group found the 2 rental houses to be fun and inviting. Both are nicely stocked with linens (nice, big bath towels, makeup cloths, outdoor towels for the hot tub, etc.), very clean and well kept, many appliances and household necessities one would hope for, a fun assortment of board games, and some nice extras. The fire pit and hot tub were both fun additions to our trip. The location is pretty, in a nice neighborhood, and close to stores and restaurants. The interior design enjoyable. Be prepared for a steep driveway incline, stairs, and don’t choose the basement bedroom unless you like sinking into a giant squishmallow (personal preference), otherwise choose one of the many other bed/bedroom options. Overall, a great stay! A good value and would definitely recommend to others.

"Where do I start with this rental property. I am usually not one to leave reviews on houses but this property left my family and I very satisfied. "We stayed at "Our Mountain Retreat" when we visited North Carolina with some friends. This place was AMAZING! It had more than enough space for all of us, a fantastic hot tub, and everything was CLEAN. The property was beautiful and the location was perfect because we wanted to explore downtown Hendersonville as well as Asheville and they were both very close. Let me know. We will definitely be staying here every time we come back to visit.

"We had a lovely stay at Our Mountain Retreat in Arden NC. With 12 of us staying a long weekend, We were spaced out so comfortably, the 2 bedroom cottage added an extra element of privacy . The location to downtown Asheville, shopping, hiking and restaurants was fantastic. We enjoyed our nights barbecuing in the backyard, the hot tub and fire pit were delightful. With such an attention to every detail, we will definitely be visiting this property again soon. It made a wonderful gathering Place .
