Special Update – Lake Lure Reopening
Exciting news for Lake Lure guests: Lake Lure is officially open following Hurricane Helene, and normal lake use has resumed! Previous lakewide no-wake restrictions have been lifted, so guests can once again enjoy boating and time on the water while continuing to follow all posted no-wake zones, boating guidelines, and local lake rules.

Chimney Rock businesses are also open and ready to welcome visitors back. This is a wonderful time to return to the area, enjoy the lake, explore Chimney Rock, and support the local businesses and communities that make this region so special. Please note that public docks remain closed at this time. Guests who would like to get out on the water can rent boats through Yonder, with delivery available for lakefront homes or pickup available at the southernmost point of the lake.

"The house was great and perfect for our family of 5, 2 dogs and 2 of our kid’s friends that joined us on our vacation. Everyone had a great time! There was even a big comfy dog bed, which our senior dog really enjoyed spending the entire long weekend lounging on! The kids really enjoyed having their own space downstairs in the game room and played pool every night. Lake Lure was a lot of fun and we will back!!

"Beautiful home with a perfect location, only a few miles away from everything local. We took a week, two family vacation, and there was so much to do at the house with the game rooms, Jacuzzi, etc… there was no need to leave. The residence had a beautiful view all the way around the house and beautiful walking trails.

Spectacular

"Our house was perfect for entire family including the furbabies. Two complete living areas and kitchens, as well as a detached game room gave the kids a getaway from the adults. We spent mornings viewing Rumbling Bald from the great room with spectacular ☀️ sun shine and smoke rising. We will definitely return to support restoration efforts at Lake lure and surrounding communities.

Lake Lure Family Vacation 2024

"The house is beautiful, spacious, and has amazing views. We are a family of 10 and it accommodated us easily. The kitchen has everything you could ask for and the billiards table was a hit. If going with a large group take a couple extra towels. The few negatives had nothing to do with the house but with the lake. No jet ski’s allowed and you have to pay to go to the beach. Also most things close by 9 p.m.

"Beautiful house with an amazing view of the mountains. Quick 5 minute drive down to the lake. The kids absolutely loved it and wanted to move in. We saw a bear from the top deck the first morning which was really cool. Only issue we had was the dryer wasn’t heating which was a bit of a problem since we were all given only one set of towels.

Outstanding rental house

"I don't normally leave reviews, but this house is exceptional! It's new, everything in it is nice and in working order. You can tell there is a great deal of pride in ownership. The kitchen is well stocked, the lightswitches are labeled, the mattresses are comfortable, and it was spotless. There is no steep driveway, and the access road is paved the whole way and easy to navigate. It is less than two miles to the Flowering Bridge. There are extenders to ensure wifi reaches the whole house. The games in the garage are in good working order, and the pool table is also in good condition. It was too warm to use the hot tub but it is large! Great house.

Family Christmas Trip

"My family and I stayed here for our Christmas trip and it was everything we needed. The home was beautiful and the views were amazing. Hot tub was great, as well as having the pool table and game room. We spent most of our time at the house just enjoying all it has to offer. We were able to cook multiple meals there with the cookware provided so the kitchen is well stocked. Our only complaint about the home would be the beds are a little hard so not quite as comfortable as we’d like but we still slept okay. We did take a trip to the Biltmore which was not too terrible of a drive and we were very close to Chimney Rock. Over all we all had a great time and would 100% book this house again. Yonder was very good at communicating with us and fixed any issue we had promptly.

Great time with family

"Perfect house for 3 adult couples traveling with 2 dogs! House was stocked well.. master bedroom with en-suite bath was wonderful with a walk-in shower. The queen bedroom with jack and Jill bathroom had a deeper tub which could be problematic for older couples and it tended to be a little slippery… the same for the bathroom downstairs as that tub was a jacuzzi/ shower so the tub was deeper to climb into. Otherwise we all thought the house worked out perfectly.. comfortable , well stocked with striking views! We had a wonderful time and the ladies at yonder were very helpful! The house went in the market last week and I only wish we could buy it!!

"Beautiful home with all you would want for a relaxed, quiet and fun vacation retreat. Easy access with all paved mountain roads. Minutes from Lake Lure town, Flowering Bridge, and Chimney Rock trails. Wonderful views and great space with lots of toys (pool table, ping pong table, foosball, darts, board games), hot tub, large screen TVs, well-appointed kitchen, and comfy lounging areas. Underscore a top rating for cleanliness. A couple of minor situations were quickly handled by the amazing Yonder Team. Highly recommend!!

"Our family of 5 spent a wonderful Memorial Day weekend here. The home is beautiful - very clean, beds comfortable, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space. So Nice I May Go Twice

"I have rented many homes over the years and this was one of the best. Spotless with comfortable and clean furniture. It was really nice furniture that made me feel at home. They allowed me to bring my dogs. They loved the house. I won’t rent a house if my dogs can’t come. They provided a lot of essentials that were both used and appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms had nice sheets and blankets with full size pillows. I hate the chicklet size pillows a lot of homes put on king size beds. We actually had very nice king size pillows. The house provided several throws that were soft. Very nice quality. The hot tub was so nice and they come 2-3 times to maintain the water. The view was so relaxing. I just loved the whole place. Other rentals should take a page from your book. I would go back to this rental. In all the years I have been renting this is only the second house I could say that about. Really nice job. They gave us a nice guest book with what we needed.
