Special Update – Lake Lure Reopening
Lake Lure is officially open following Hurricane Helene, and normal lake use has resumed! Previous lakewide no-wake restrictions have been lifted, so guests can once again enjoy boating and time on the water while continuing to follow all posted no-wake zones, boating guidelines, and local lake rules.

Chimney Rock businesses are also open and ready to welcome visitors back. This is a wonderful time to return to the area, enjoy the lake, explore Chimney Rock, and support the local businesses and communities that make this region so special.
Please note that public docks remain closed at this time. Guests who would like to get out on the water can rent boats through Yonder, with delivery available for lakefront homes or pickup available at the southernmost point of the lake.

"We had an amazing stay at Lake Lure! The condo was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. We loved having two living rooms, and the porch view overlooking the golf course was absolutely beautiful. The on-site amenities were a huge bonus — the pool was great, and the kids especially loved the lazy river. We also had dinner at the restaurant, which had another incredible view, and the food was delicious. We couldn’t recommend this place more. We had a fantastic time and would definitely book again!

"The property is lovely, with everything in order and clean for a quick family get away. The kitchen is amazing, fully equipped with deluxe appliances. The layout worked out well with 2 living areas for our different ages to spread out. We had easy access to golfing and everything Lake Lure has to offer. The bedroom arrangement was ideal for us with children each in their own bed! It is a great property - I'd book again.

Great Getaway

"We heard about Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald from friends and went to check it out. Walking into this condo was a great start to the visit. The look is clean and modern, it was spacious, well-outfitted, the layout with two lounging areas was perfect, and what a kitchen! The bathrooms were nice and bright and beds seemed new – we slept well. We especially liked eating on the covered deck overlooking the golf course. We walked to all the facilities, which included restaurants, two lakes, pools and a well-equipped workout room. The resort had lots to do in addition to the golf course (putt-putt golf, hikes, and lake activities like kayaking, swimming). We will be returning for longer stays and will book this condo again.

"I very much enjoyed my stay at the Lake Lure Getaway condo. While I could write pages about the memories friends and I made together during our stay, I’d be remiss if I didn’t share about the beautiful space the owner has curated. Truly a cozy home away from home nestled in a safe, enchanting golf course community near the iconic Lake Lure. Owner’s sense of design is elegant and every inch of the home is spotless and tidy. The space is modern and equipped with all the appliances you’ll possibly need. You’ll have access to amenities, restaurants, walking trails, and water activities at your back door. Oh and beautiful views of the Blue Ridge mountains out the front door! I would go back and stay in a heartbeat and highly recommend staying here for any amount of time!

Golf Trip

"We are two couples who like to golf and love Rumbling Bald resort lifestyle. This place is by far the most modern we’ve stayed in. We loved it. The views, birdwatching and sounds of the creek in the quiet mornings are unbelievable. Everything was exceptional. I would say the only drawback is that the place is too modern. The nozzles and knobs on the showers were a bit intimidating at first. The oven also took a minute to figure out that it has separate upper/lower oven option. We listened to music on the giant TVs once we figured out the new style remotes and realized there were free music channels. We had a great time! Will be back and highly recommend this condo.

Golf Trip

"This condo was absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! We loved having multiple seating areas from the sun room by the kitchen (where we gathered often so we could snack and chat) to the comfy living room and the front deck overlooking the golf course – we loved finally getting a chance to relax and catch up in a beautiful setting. The rest of the condo was immaculate, met our needs and beyond. Loved the multi-faucet shower, the huge kitchen, multiple tvs for music in the background, comfy beds, fluffy soft towels and just the overall vibe and décor. Location was a win as well. Legends Restaurant was delicious and convenient! Having an indoor and outdoor pool, lake, golf course, tennis/pickleball courts, hiking trails, etc. all within a minute’s reach was great. There was so much to do, we barely knew where to start. One could stay here the entire time and not need to venture out. However, I do definitely recommend a trip to the Flowering Bridge and surrounding breweries. We can 't wait to return!

"This place was perfect for our stay. This condo was ideal for our stay at Lake Lure. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway with access to all of the resort accommodations including golf. We also hiked the nearby trails and enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning. I would stay again.

Quick Getaway

"We visited Lake Lure/Rumbling Bald for a quick getaway. The condo was fantastic – obviously updated recently. It is a nice mix of modern and comfy, with two nice gathering rooms and a spacious kitchen. The showers have what I would call spa features, with massagers and rainfall and, most importantly, great water pressure. We all slept very well as the beds were very supportive and comfortable. The covered deck and balconies were great spots to eat and hang out. The condo’s location is perfect, right on the golf course and a nice walk from the amenities (restaurants, pools, beach, Pro-Shop, etc.) There is some construction going on at the resort but not near the condo itself so it didn’t affect us. The resort promised and delivered activities for all of us – real and mini golf, quick access to challenging hikes and swimming. We will definitely return to this condo and resort for longer stays.
