"I stayed at "Blue Ridge Escape" with my family and friends for 4 nights this past week, and we were 1000% satisfied with both the house and Yonder. The house was beautiful, and provided us with so much room for our large group. We really enjoyed the open layout of the kitchen/dining room/living area. We had plenty of room to all sit around and enjoy each others' company. My favorite part was sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the view. We had had absolutely no problems at all. I would also like to say how amazing the Yonder team was. They allowed us to check-in early, as well as check-out late when we asked to. That was very convenient since we had multiple people driving/flying in and out at different times. If I had to make any suggestions at all, I would say that it would be nice to have a bigger grill on the deck. Cooking for a large group was a bit challenging with such a small grill to cook on. Also, if it's raining outside and you want to get in the jacuzzi, water leaks down through the deck above and onto you. That's just being nit-picky, but we absolutely enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back again soon.

"The Blue Ridge Escape was the perfect destination for our multigenerational family reunion. The variety of recreational equipment provided many hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike. The breathtaking views were ever changing and specular. The house itself was very comfortable for all to gather, as well as having the privacy of separate areas to retreat. The property has top quality furnishings. The kitchen was well furnished with dishes and featured new appliances. The peaceful and lovely vacation home was everything we hoped for!

"Easy to get to, not at all far from Asheville, NC, and within reach of every activity and attraction our families enjoys while on vacation: white-water rafting, tubing, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, pontoon rides on Lake Lure, shopping, exploring new restaurants, and not too far from Dollywood (amusement park and/or splash world). The house is equipped with amenities that enhance the stay as well: hot tub, grill, large deck with great tables for dining out, fire pit, pool table, ping pong table, etc. Having a second refrigerator was wonderful. Absolutely gorgeous view!

"Blue Ridge Escape was the perfect place for our family get together! The house is spacious and in prime shape with all the amenities one could need. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal, or you could go out to eat at one of the hundreds of restaurants that are located nearby…finding a grocery store or a great restaurant is not a problem. We enjoyed many hours in the well maintained hot tub while looking out over the magnificent views. We spent a lot of family time on the decks and fire pit overlooking the mountains while sipping cocktails and enjoying conversation. The Blue Ridge Parkway and National Parks are a short distance away as is Asheville, where you can find many things to do like visit the Biltmore. All in all this was a great place to stay and highly recommend it.

"My family stayed here for a weekend gathering. There were more than enough beds for the 16 of us, and plenty of space for the kids to play. The kitchen was also well equipped for making big meals. We also took advantage of the hot tub! The house is about a 10-15 min drive to Waynesville, which has several restaurants, grocery stores, and a quaint downtown shopping area. About a 30 min drive is Asheville, which has a ton to offer and explore. For the outdoor lovers, there are several trails to hike close by, and some great fly fishing opportunities.

"We needed a house big enough for a family: my mom who is 92, five of her children with five spouses, a grandson with his wife and three girls age 5, 7, and 10. This house was perfect with plenty of room for that sized group. Everything we could possibly need was there! We would certainly go back if the opportunity arose.

"Yonder was very easy to work with and provided an excellent experience! They answered all of my messages and questions promptly. This house has gorgeous views galore and lots of space for a family get together! They had several entertainment options there such as games, a basketball goal, ping pong, cornhole, a Wii, and dvds. There is plenty of room throughout the house, especially with the guest room above the garage separate from the house. It is very convenient to Asheville, and we visited some adorable smaller towns nearby. There are also tons of hiking trails nearby making this a very desirable location. The kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking that we did. Overall, my family and I absolutely loved our experience at the Blue Ridge Escape home and would happily return any time!

Breathtaking Views & a Winter Wonderland

"This was the perfect house for our families with young aged children. I'd highly recommend this rental if snow is projected for your stay, as the sledding was amazing on the private high top hills. On the flip side, the driveway was extremely steep and long and created quite a dangerous obstacle to leave on our departure date. Thankfully, we made it down!

"Terrific home for our group of 4 families including children ages 8 years to 10 months. Plenty of gathering space indoors and on the decks and places for children to play safely outside. Incredible views. The house was also very well stocked with plenty of everything from glassware, dishes, utensils and kitchen basics to children’s videos and games. We made s’mores over the fire pit, played ping pong, corn hole, basketball and air hockey, watched swallows fly in and out of their bird house on the deck and even saw the synchronous firefly display! We also found plenty of things to do nearby in Waynesville, Lake Junaluska and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would gladly return.

"If you are planning a group getaway this is an amazing place to stay. The house is large - can fit 15 comfortably, and comes with a bunch of activities - board games, basketball, hot tub, grill, fireplace. Renting a car to get around would be best. It's only 30 minutes from Asheville - tons of things to do in town and tons of activities in the surrounding area i.e. fishing, golfing, paintball, restaurants, breweries. "One word, WOW! This location really exceeded my expectations and made for a great spring break with the lads. Packed with beautiful views inside and outside the house! The available spots around Asheville are right around the corner, and you get to meet all the amazing friendly townspeople, even by the waterfalls! Overall I’m so happy we decided to go over Yonder with this vacation rental!

"This property was absolutely amazing to stay at! We stayed with a larger group and there was more than enough room to cook, live, and enjoy the stunning views from the balcony and hot tub. This property is in the middle of everything that you could possibly need. Standing on the balcony and watching the sunrise was the absolute highlight because of where this house is located. I would recommend that everyone see this stunning home and view!

Family Birthday Celebration

"We stayed at the Blue Ridge house to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Extended family stayed with us with a wide age range and everyone had a great weekend. The views from the decks were amazing. Sunset was particularly beautiful each night. The house was very impressive and I would highly recommend it for a family getaway or celebration.

Beyond Breathtaking

"We just returned from our family holiday at Blue Ridge Escape. The views are beyond breathtaking!! The pictures on the website did not do it justice. We thoroughly enjoyed gathering around the fire pit at night and were very impressed with the amount of space for all of us (12 of us) to enjoy breakfast together in the morning. Downtown Waynesville is very close in proximity with quintessential Main St. charm. Haywood Bar B Que is an absolute must. We are excited for the opportunity to come back and experience to Blue Ridge Escape in the summer time as well.

Fabulous house and views

"We had an unbelieveable 5 night stay the Blue Ridge Escape. We chose to celebrate our wedding with a trip with 9 of our closest friends and family after our wedding was canceled because of covid. This house turned out to give us a weekend we will never forget. It has everything you could need plus ample privacy if you need some alone time. The beds and linens are top notch, it is very clean and the kitchen has everything you could ever want and more. The deck looking out into the mountains is breathtaking and we had a lot of great nights sitting around the fire. It is truly beautiful. We are SO grateful to Yonder for giving us back a memory we thought we wouldn't get to have and hope to do a reunion trip in the future!
