Welcome to The TrainStation! This idyllic, log cabin is the ultimate mountain retreat. Located just minutes away from charming downtown Saluda and close to all that an outdoor enthusiast could ask for, including hiking, rafting and even zip-lining! Or spend the day in Asheville exploring Biltmore Estate, art galleries, and first-class restaurants.

Located on 1.5 acres with a waterfall on one side and a stream below, The TrainStation is a peaceful and private home for those wanting to rest and recharge. Take the stairs that lead directly to the creek and wade in the refreshing water or grab your fishing pole! After a day of exploring enjoy a glass of wine on the wrap-around deck overlooking the waterfall or in the hot tub and let your stress melt away.

Enjoy cooking with friends and family in the fully stocked kitchen. After dinner relax around the stone fireplace in the cozy living room with knotty pine, vaulted ceilings. The three large guest rooms give everyone plenty of privacy. The primary bedroom features a large walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. Whether you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax or get out and have adventures, The TrainStation is the best place to create lifelong memories!

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.

"Great place, the kids loved playing around the river and having the screen porch close by makes it comfortable for parents. We loved hearing the water rush all the time and being so tucked away from everything. Excellent retreat space from busy life.

"The TrainStation is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The house is equipped with everything you might need. The house is comfortable and clean, plus the towels are amazing! The check in process was seemless and the check out instructions were perfectly clear. Our favorite features of The TrainStation were the wrap around porch, the area by the river, and the artwork throughout the home. This is very relaxing place to unwind and we'd recommend The TrainStation to anyone looking to get off the beaten path, we'll definitely be back!

"We have stayed at the TrainStation in Saluda several times and plan to be back many more! The view from the hot tub and all of the porches can't be beat! The sound of the creek is so relaxing. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and is so clean and cozy. It feels secluded but you are minutes from downtown Saluda and excellent shops and restaurants. The TrainStation is our go-to place for a relaxing mountain weekend!

"Fantastic cabin with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Absolutely the best porches in the world. The sound of the stream and falls from the porches help to wash away all your worries. You get the feeling that you are nestled in a tree house. You feel very secluded but this house is so convenient to so many things. Saluda, Tryon, Hendersonville, Asheville... all are right there. This is our number 1 pick of places to stay. We love the Trainstation!
