This newly renovated A frame sits on over 300 acres of conservation land. Within 25 minutes, you are in bustling downtown Asheville or hiking trails off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

If you have come for the quiet, then a spacious yard invites outdoor play and relaxation, A campsite just up the path behind the house will charm you with tent platforms and a large fire ring - Summer camp all year long. Inside the house, a gourmet kitchen, cozy common areas, open plan and streaming TV set the stage for easy evenings together.

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets Dog-friendly! Up to 2 dogs allowed with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.

Extended Stays Reservations of 30 days or more are subject to review; stays exceeding 90 days require an additional agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name

Amazing!

"Spending Thanksgiving at The Sugar Creek Chalet was amazing! We have been there before, but this was the first time we gathered with extended family and used the remarkable kitchen. Wow, I wish I had a stove like that at home. It’s perfect for cooking together and hanging out in the big open space. Then after playing flashlight tag in the garden, and lounging, the “adults” retired to our cozy rooms and the kids piled in together in the window room upstairs. We had a great time.
