Ideal!

"The property location is ideal for exploring Asheville. It sits slightly southwest of the city proper and Biltmore area. You can get to any district easily and fairly quickly. I enjoyed the farmer markets (districts have different days: usually Thursday, Friday, Saturday but may be more). The home is in a very quiet and pretty neighborhood. Lots of greenery and birds! I highly recommend the home! You'll also be delighted by the "goodies" provided - that's all I'm gonna say cause I don't want to spoil the surprise!

Beautiful Property

"When we arrived at Oakley House it felt like we were coming home. Inside and out, the property looks exactly like the photos. So much so it felt like I had been there before. The house is immaculate, with everything you can imagine provided. We chose Oakley House because it was pet friendly, and the owners provided little touches that made us feel our pets really were welcome, eg., poop bags and leash hooks. The yard is a nice size for walking/playing with dogs. The neighbors were friendly and the area felt safe. The location is great, with Biltmore and downtown Asheville just 15-20 minutes away. There is even a wonderful 24-hour emergency vet 20 minutes away. We never expected to need their services but we did, and when traveling with pets this is a real bonus. Oakley House was so cozy we didn’t want to leave, which means we’ll be back. Many thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful property.

"I don’t think I’ve ever had a rental as clean as this one was! This little house was cozy and well decorated. The location was quiet and close to everything. We did have a bit of an issue getting the digital keypad to unlock the door for us, which was likely operator error; however, they’re was a physical key provided in a lockbox for us to use just in case the door keypad failed for any reason. This was a great additional feature. The Yonder team clearly goes above and beyond for their guests!

Perfect Holiday Getaway

"The Oakley House made the perfect holiday getaway — even furnished with the cutest Christmas decorations that added to the cozy cabin feel. The house was SPOTLESS CLEAN and tidy with the perfect amount of space. I love the rustic cozy cabin feel of interior and the backyard was very big. The hosts thought of everything you might need during your stay (poop bags outside for the dogs, lamps, pots and pans, etc) and Yonder was extremely responsive to all my messages! The house was situated nicely in a quaint neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do in Asheville. While there are not direct Mountain View’s from the house, I loved that it was an easy drive to get to town with Blue Ridge Parkway views 15 minutes away! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at the Oakley House. The house was so charming and the photos accurately depicted the house. Everything was comfortable, easy, and most importantly clean. Also, it was extremely convenient to the Biltmore, restaurants, and other activities. The only minor item was that the mattresses were a bit too firm for us, especially for lounging in bed, but that's a personal preference. I definitely recommend the Oakley House.

"My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Oakley House. Her comment when we walked in was “I don’t want to leave this house.” It was that nice! Everything was perfectly clean. The house is tastefully decorated, modern and completely updated. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the snacks were a nice touch. The shower in the master bathroom had plenty of pressure and hot water. Quiet neighborhood, big yard. We brought our little dog with us, she was very happy and enjoyed walking in the large backyard. The location is perfect. Many restaurants, stores and breweries close by, and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. We thought that the price for such a beautiful house was very reasonable. Will return when we come back to Asheville!

"Our group of five (four adults and one teenager) had a wonderful stay at the Oakley House last weekend. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament being held at the John B Lewis Soccer Complex, which was only 10 minutes away. Super convenient! The Oakley House was impeccably clean inside and out, and it was equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic stay. We really liked the furnishings, design, and the overall cozy atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The fire pit and yard games were also a big hit. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

"I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful home base for our week in Asheville. The Oakley House has been the most well-equipped house we've rented for vacation, and the little personal touches really made a difference. My 6 year old especially loved the trick-or-treat goodie box and the well-stocked woodpile for campfires at night. We took your suggestion of visiting 12 Bones for dinner on our last night at Asheville, and you were right that the jalapeno cheese grits were straight fire! A perfect house for a small family.

"The house was beautiful and cozy! Squeaky clean too! The kitchen is stocked well with anything you may need to cook. Felt very welcome. The treats and snacks left for us were wonderful. Great coffee and tea selection. I liked that there was a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. The linens were wonderful and the towels very soft! It was very close to what we were looking to do. "We have stayed at multiple rentals across the country and this, by far, has been our favorite! The pictures are 100% accurate! As soon as we walked in, we were met with a clean smell and a homey feel. This is a pet friendly rental (we brought our pup) but there is absolutely no animal smell. The decorations are on point! The rooms and bathroom are a nice size and are stocked with whatever you might need. There are a bunch of games and books on hand. And the blanket situation is a dream!! Any size, any texture, any weight is available for you! It's the little things like that, that set this place apart from other places that just have the bare minimum! The fire pit was great and we made s’mores during our stay. There are large TVs in both bedrooms as well as the living room. As for the location... we were told by locals, this is an up and coming area. Many houses are being bought and fixed up. If you look at Google earth at this rental, you will see something completely different. You will see all different kinds of houses around this area (from the run down to the brand new). It is very quiet with the exception of the birds singing. We felt completely safe and at ease at all times. We had DoorDash delivered and also used Uber. This house is in a perfect spot to get to the Biltmore or downtown in just minutes. We are definitely going to look at Yonder’s other rentals as we were blown away by this rental. I can't say enough good things about this rental!

Loved Our Stay

"We loved our stay at The Oakley House. Extremely clean and just a ten minute drive to downtown Asheville. There was plenty of firewood and a working gas grill, so we grilled dinner and made s’mores by the fire on one of the chillier nights. Our only complaint is that the mattresses felt stiff to us, so if you prefer a softer mattress this may not be the best place to do an extended stay. Aside from that, we had an amazing stay!

Saved Us

"Went to Asheville to visit family. Entire family got Covid except granddaughter, but parents were afraid we would be exposed thru her. So we didn’t get to see them at all!! The house was perfect it would have been terrible if we had been in hotel. Kitchen had everything we needed, very well stocked. Washer & dryer was handy. Bed sooo comfortable. Baths we perfect. We each had our own. Our Yorkiepoo was with us and there was the perfect place for him to run and play. Location was good, not far from anything. Parking was perfect. We weren’t able to use fire pit, but if grand had been able to come over we would have. The trip was not good, but the wonderful house made it tolerable. Great place to just relax.

"The Oakley House was the perfect location for exploring all around Asheville and Black Mountain. The home was fully stocked upon arrival and there is a welcome binder that is extremely helpful. The home has been recently renovated down to the studs and all the finishes are perfect. The bathrooms in particular are wonderful. The house is immaculately kept and we would highly recommend a stay!

Lovely House

"We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was very clean and frankly it was super nice. It had everything you needed (kitchen, towels, linens for bed) everything was easy to find—including the linens for the pull out couch. The house was very comfortable too, we felt right at home immediately. It had a lovely backyard for our dog to run around; and the fire pit was nice (we never used the grill). My 14 year old loved the fact that there was a TV in each bedroom and the living room! I really recommend staying at this house.

Everything Was Perfect

"This was the cleanest house we stayed in. Everything was perfect. The location was central to all the sights we came for. We can tell that the owner takes pride in his property. Everything was there. There was even coffee and tea for us. Everything you need if you wanted to cook on the grill outside or cook in the kitchen inside. A great value. "Definitely enjoyed my stay at The Oakley House. Great for dogs. Quiet neighborhood. The house was SPOTLESS!. All necessary amenities were available. "Good location approximately 10 mins. from Biltmore. Beautiful house, everything accessible by smart touch pad. Very clean, love the decor! Plenty of everything you need. "Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Awesome amenities and wonderfully decorated. Spotless. Even the towels (soft, thick, and generously sized) smelled like heaven. We brought lots of things from home based on previous experiences, and the only thing we needed was coffee and food. If every property was like this one, there would be waiting lists a mile long. Excellent property. Close to Biltmore and Town Square. What a wonderful haven in Asheville.

"What a perfect cozy home! It was great to walk through the door easy with self check in, after a frustrating late flight and find the home so welcoming and warm. The decor is sweet, comfortable, and fun. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the squirrels play. It has everything you would need. It is close to the Biltmore Estate and Mountains. We highly recommend this stay.

"Thank you for providing us a cute, cozy place for the long weekend! We were able to see Biltmore at Christmastime, visit Burnt Shirt & Marked Tree Wineries, walk around downtown Hendersonville, and I even got to take my Andy Griffith watching Dad for a day in Mayberry (Mt. Airy)! We enjoyed lots of good restaurants, including Vinnie's Italian, Isa's Bistro, and Chestnut. Juicy Lucy's was great too!
