Quiet Policy: Please note that The Lodge at The Huntly Estate is in a private, quiet mountain community. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, and guests are expected to respect the surrounding neighbors.

Clean Guarantee: Our Cleaning Fees are backed by our Clean Guarantee. If the home does not meet our cleaning standards upon arrival, we will promptly return to address it.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out: may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. There may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Military Discount: We have tremendous respect and gratitude for former and present military personnel. Yonder would like to offer a 5% discount on this home. Some restrictions apply; not valid with any other offers. The only thing we ask is that you present identification in the form of a “CAC” card or a “DD Form 2” card (Blue & Green).

Payment - Cancellation - Insurance:  Please review our payment & cancellation policies, along with information about vacation rental insurance.

Long Term Bookings: Reservations over 30 days are subject for review prior to acceptance. A separate rental agreement will be required for 90+ day stays. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fee and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including a clear photo of a government-issued ID and a selfie photo of the primary guest holding that ID next to their face (ID must match the reservation name), as well as a photo of the payment method in the primary guest’s name. Subject to security screening for verification and authenticity. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.

"We frequently travel as a large family, and everyone agreed this was one of the best properties we have stayed in. There were so many spaces for fun inside the house, and the yard and porch added even more opportunities for play. The house was outfitted with plenty of supplies, dishes, seasonings, and even toys. And one of our favorite parts was all the bathrooms! Everyone could take a shower whenever they wanted to. Also, the kids' bunk rooms were outfitted with TVs, so we could put the little ones down with a show and enjoy some adult time at night. The house is close to all the Asheville attractions, so that made it incredibly convenient for all our daily activities. To top it off, both Yonder and the owner were incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. We highly recommend this property to large families who are visiting the Asheville area.

Family Reunion

"Our family reunion was so much more enjoyable by having chosen to stay at The Lodge at Huntly Estate. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures show, everything is meticulously cleaned and maintained, and "extras" that one usually has to shop for locally or bring along were already provided.When one appliance glitch occurred, not only was the management prompt in responding, but the owner himself came over to supervise the remediation. We couldn't have been happier with our stay, and plan to visit again as soon as we can round up the folks again!Thank you for a truly remarkable experience!

"The Lodge at The Huntly Estate was our chosen venue for a family reunion, and we were overwhelmed with every aspect of our stay. Not only is the home itself stunning and beautifully maintained, it's kept stocked with more than the usual amenities one expects (hopes?) to find in a vacation rental. The management company, Yonder, was very responsive to our requests, and made the entire experience one we will never forget! Can't WAIT to return -- and soon!

"Simply an elegant and well thought out home design for large groups. We were only 5 but appreciate quality in a “rental home”. Thank you for sharing your fun and convenient home with us! Super close to grocery stores and only about 19 minutes todowntown Asheville. Even less to golf at the Grove Park Inn.Loved the gas fireplaces— their ease of use was my favorite feature in the home. The hot tub, pool table, & ping pong table kept us entertained. Horse Shoes were nostalgic as were the porch swings. Comfortable beds too! Very clean! We were lucky & saw a bear meandering across a street while driving down the mountain to town around 7:15 pm. Super cool! Thank you for a wonderful memory!

"This house is on a private spacious lot. There are bedrooms on all 3 floors, each with an en suite. There's a large kitchen and family room plus large tv's in numerous locations. We all had fun playing ping pong & pool plus the other games available. The location is also close to shopping and downtown Ashveille. The farthest we drove was 45 minutes to Dupont for hiking with waterfalls.

"The Lodge was exceptionally well appointed and beautifully organized. The kitchen was immaculately set up for a large group.We didn’t find a single thing overlooked. Cutlery, glass ware, cook ware, even spices were ample and readily available. It’s made a 5 family get together a breeze. Plenty of room for all and options to socialize together or apart. Even the grandparents enjoyed the downstairs game room!

"This lovely home was the perfect choice for our three generation, fourteen person Thanksgiving getaway. We had so much room that no one ever got in anyone's way and there were plenty of spaces for alone time. But fantastic spots for gathering around the large dining room table with the great views. The kitchen was stocked with most of the tools/pots/pans that we needed. And, amazingly, Walmart delivers to your door way up on the mountain! I was most impressed that the water temperature was excellent and we never ran out of hot water! Highly recommend this property!

Incredible stay Huntly Estate

"We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at the Huntly Lodge in Asheville. Tucked into a quiet, lush hillside just outside the city, the lodge feels like your own private retreat—but still close to all the great food, coffee, and culture Asheville has to offer. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless: the house was spotless, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The views from the deck were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. It felt like a peaceful hideaway where you could truly recharge after long rides. We were in town primarily for cycling—both road and mountain—and I can’t imagine a better home base. Huntly Lodge is perfectly positioned for easy access to a wide variety of routes and terrain. Although part of the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed during our visit, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Asheville is surrounded by incredible riding, and we were blown away by how many beautiful, quiet roads and scenic trails we were still able to enjoy. Every ride felt like an adventure, and coming back to the comfort and calm of the lodge each day made it even better. What really made the stay special, though, was the sense that the space was designed with care and intention. From the cozy living room and big kitchen to the peaceful bedrooms and thoughtful touches like bike storage and quiet outdoor space, everything felt welcoming and easy. If you’re coming to Asheville for cycling—or even just to relax and enjoy nature—I can’t recommend The Huntly Lodge highly enough. We’ll absolutely be back.

"We rented the Huntly Estate for our family group of 15 people crossing three generations. There was something for everyone - games and sports for the young people, and several gathering spots for everyone. The house was very well-equipped...especially the kitchen...and completely clean. The owners were very responsive to the few requests we had, and could not have made things any easier for us. This property is a wonderful choice if you want access to nature activities, restaurants, the arts, and all that Asheville has to offer.

"Spent a wonderful 6 days /5 nights at the Huntly Estate. Asheville needs no introduction but the area around the Huntly is phenomenal. Close enough to grocery stores and restaurants but still feels like you’re outside in nature. The house itself is wonderful and the owners have put a lot of effort into ensuring that you have a great stay. This is my second stay here and the place has improved from an already high level. Can’t wait to see what they have done when I visit again hopefully soon.

Overdelivers For Our Needs

"The Huntly Estate We had a fabulous visit with many friends while staying at The Huntly Estate. The house is set up perfectly for our large group (we could even have brought more people). The kitchen and common areas are excellent as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, the games & training room was perfect for us. We did use it all. Our group typically visits for socializing and also for road cycling and mountain biking; The Huntly Estate overdelivers for our needs. It is close to all amenities and also ensures privacy and a quiet serene environment for relaxation. The garage is very well setup for us to hang our bicycles and has enough space for us to perform any onsite modifications as desired. The front and back patios are also perfect for even ‘more’ relaxing! The quick access to many of the local attractions is an additional benefit. There’s so much to see and do. A single visit to the area is not enough. The Huntly Estate is the backbone of our visits.

"We did it again! We had another great week in Asheville NC and area. The Huntly Estate was our home base and health spa. We visit for time with our friends and the great road [bicycle] riding as well as the incredible mountain bike riding. The Huntly Estate provided a super clean and very well appointed home for us and our many hours of eating, resting, and socializing. It seems everyone reviews the bedrooms (which are indeed fantastic) but the games & training room is also a top feature of The Huntly Estate. We had a few late nights in there practicing our skills. The Huntly Estate housed us and all our bicycles which is a great feature. It's nice to see a facility set up to efficiently hang the bikes, house our riders, and be very central for groceries and trails. We will go back as much as our calendars permit.

Family Fun and Mountain Air at The Huntly Estate

"Our stay at The Huntly Estate was amazing! We were in town, from Canada, to catch up with family and explore the trails and sights around Asheville. This place nailed it for comfort and fun. First off, the house is huge but cozy. The kitchen is a dream – big and has everything you need to whip up family meals. We spent loads of time there, cooking, laughing, and just hanging out. And the hot tub? A total win for chilling after our hiking adventures. The kids (and, okay, the adults too) loved the games room, pool table, and the basketball net outside. It was cool to have different things to do without even leaving the property. Plus, there's a gym, which was perfect for those of us wanting to keep up with our workouts. The Huntly Estate felt like our little private slice of heaven, with plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. Being so close to all the hiking trails and sights we wanted to check out was super convenient. We did a day trip to Charlotte as well and it was an easy 2-hour drive. In a nutshell, our trip was packed with family time, nature, and relaxation, thanks to The Huntly Estate. Can't wait to go back!

Everything We Needed

"We had a group of 28 sorority sisters from The University of Georgia stay at the Huntly Estate in Asheville and the house was amazing! The fact that there were 9 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms was what originally hooked us. There was so much space to spread out and enjoy playing games or relaxing and talking. "We had an unbelievably positive experience at The Huntley Estate managed by Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals. We were under great duress, having a tragic accident of our son in Asheville. We had to pull off a funeral and burial for 21 out of town family members with 48 hours notice. Yonder sent us two listings and we chose the biggest and nicest home for this situation. It was absolutely perfect. The Yonder team and The Huntley exceede all our expectations under tremendously difficult conditions. I recommend highly and without reservation. We will use them again when we next gather as a large group

"We had our family (5 adults and 3 kids) Christmas holiday at Huntly. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The kids (young and old) looooooved the lower floor, a paradise of games and activities. The kitchen was perfect for putting together holiday meals. Ample space for everyone to spread out and a great launch pad for activities in Asheville. Our one glitch was promptly addressed by Yonder and Huntly.

"We recently stayed at The Huntly Estate for our summer vacation and LOVED it! We had different family members join us at various times and the house was so accommodating; there were loads of group gathering spaces but we also all had our own private bedrooms/bathrooms, which was great. The huge kitchen with 2 sinks and 2 fridges was also a bonus for preparing our large group meals, and the kids (big and small) loved the games room & basketball! We enjoyed some of the local attractions, especially the Biltmore Estate tour and wine tasting, the River Arts District, an epic hike in Montreat on the Graybeard Trail, an escape room night at Breakout Games and a great day of biking/yoga at the Riveter followed by dinner at Sierra Nevada Restaurant. We’ll be back!

Perfect Getaway

"Our recent stay at the Huntly Estate was the perfect getaway for our large family. Upon arrival it was quite noticeable how clean the entire house was. The en-suite bedrooms were perfect for all the adults and couples, and the kids loved all the bunkbed options. When not exploring the Asheville and surrounding areas, we really enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and fire pit. Private setting but very close to shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops.

"This property looks exactly like all the photo’s. We had 14 people ranging from 20 months to 83 years old and everyone loved the home, bedrooms with private bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. The indoor amenities were a huge hit, along with the fire pit. Our only issue was the ice maker did not work properly, made ice, but unable to dispense. We called to report this issue, and within 1 hour, they delivered 6 bags of ice for us even though we said we could manage the situation! Highly recommend this property!

Luxury in the mountains

"An absolute hidden gem among the mountains. Meticulously clean, very spacious and very welcoming and warm. You feel right at home the minute you step foot in the doorway. The beds were the most comfortable ever, especially for myself with a tempermental back. The surrounding grounds beautifully landscaped, with a stellar fire pit out front. Everything about this place screams relaxation and zen. Ample room in the kitchen even with a big group to meander your away around for your morning fix. The extra large kitchen table was a personal favorite of mine, where everyone can pull up a chair and strike a conversation for hours. Book now, you won't regret it!

"This was our second visit to The Huntly Estate. It was again very comfortable. Everything we needed or wanted was there for us. We would have liked more time to explore even more of the area (and the building itself, ... the games room needs a full weekend to use properly plus the patios need us to sit and enjoy the forest). When we departed I knew I had truly rested. Truthfully, The Huntly Estate is only getting better.

"I travel a lot and this place was awesome. Spotless and I mean spotless, even the garage floor. Ammenities up the wazoo, games room(s), 84" TV(s), bike racks for I think 20 - its crazy. There was even a whole house back up generator for when the utility went down (a very nice first for me). Any future group trip to Asheville will be based around the availability of this place!

"What appealed to me most was the sense of warmth and coziness this home has despite it's grand size. The minute you walk in the colors and décor are welcoming and relaxing. I didn't feel as though I was at a high end hotel. It's a home meant for people who enjoy the outdoors and nature. After exploring the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains all day, we came back to a gorgeous chef's kitchen for dinner, then relaxed outside by the bonfire. This isn't a pristine perfect showcase, it's a welcoming home to relax and enjoy. Bring the kids with muddy shoes and bikes and have fun!

Stunning Home for Big Group Getaway

"This beautiful, secluded home has everything for a fun group getaway: large and comfortable common areas, cozy and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, powerful hot tub, basketball hoop, fire pit, and the best game room we have ever seen in our many big home rentals over the years. We also noted that every bedroom had a modem TV (unlike some other places we have stayed). I had forgotten shampoo, conditioner, and soap and was pleasantly surprised to find the bathrooms fully stocked. Our group of 17 spanning age 4 to 76 thoroughly enjoyed our time at Huntly. Great wi-fi and conveniently located near downtown Asheville and attractions. Highly recommend Huntly and Yonder Vacation Rentals.

"We had 7 people travel for 4 nights to the Huntly Estate. It had all the amenities we needed plus more. We used the large dining table to hold our meetings and eat meals, we had people use the spa each night, we watched a movie together in one room on the comfy couch and the entire house was clean and up to date. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were handled immediately. Using Uber and Lyft were easy going to and from downtown so no one had to drive the curvy roads at night. The beds were even more comfortable than some of us have at home.

Secluded Escape in the Mountains

"The house was perfect for our family. We had 16 people aged 11 months to 71. We celebrated 5 birthdays and our 48th anniversary. The location was great, convenient to all area attractions. There was plenty to do at the house with the game room, pool room, hot tub, basketball goal. The management team was quick to respond to any problems. Would highly recommend this house to any large group of family or friends.

Perfect Getaway for a Large Group

"I wanted to meet up with a lot of my friends around the holiday season and this was the absolute perfect house. We had 27 people and we fit comfortably. The amenities like the fire pit, hot tub, large TV viewing rooms were exactly what we needed to enjoy our time there. I would strongly recommend this property. Absolute Perfection!

"I hosted a retreat for 16 women, and we all felt very comfortable. The house is super spacious with a great view. The kitchen was very organized with everything labeled. The house was super clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fact that every bedroom had their own private bathroom. It felt like we were all staying at our own personal hotel. Wi-Fi was able to handle all of our devices with no problems, and we had strong cell service, which I was worried about. We had plenty of household items like TP, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, even hot tub towels provided for us. Check-out was a breeze too. Just beware that the driveway is very steep and secluded. If roads are icy, that might be an issue. The driveway was a little hard to find, but thankfully there was a small wooden sign posted with "Huntly Estate" on it as a landmark. We will most definitely be back for another retreat here next year! Loved every minute!

"We have been getting together with a group of friends for the past 35 years. As it was our turn to organize, we decided to do a 'destination' reunion and picked the Huntly estate so that we might be able to all stay together and explore the area. The house was so perfect and accommodated everyone so easily. It is laid out really well and everyone really enjoyed themselves. We had a chef come in one night and he was really impressed as well - it was so well stocked and there was seating room for everyone. Finally, the location was super convenient. Everything we wanted to do was just a short way away. We will return!

"My family had an amazing time! We had 5 generations of family there from 83 years old to 6 months. The place was EXACTLY as advertised! It has soo much charm that you can feel the owners’ love in there. Equipped with everything you need. The beds were quite comfortable and everyone having their own bathroom was priceless! The game room was a big hit for all ages, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. In the evenings, the fire pit was a great way to end the day. Unfortunately, they will only allow me to give a 5 star rating…..otherwise they would be a definite 10!!!!!!!

"We had a wonderful time at the Huntly Estate this past week riding our road and mountain bicycles in the surrounding areas. The Huntly Estate itself is fabulous with beautiful grounds and accommodations for all our shenanigans. The games room provided great entertainment and competition and the large well equipped kitchen and BBQ area for our meal experiments worked very well. The fabulous sleeping accommodations allowed for our much needed rest. Look forward to coming back!

Perfect House for Large Family Gathering

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Lots of games and space for everyone. We had both sides of family and friends at this house for our wedding weekend and it did not feel crammed at all as every room had their own bath. We even had our baby gender reveal at this property and it had the perfect fall foliage backdrop for it. The drive to the house is windy and beautiful. Property manager also allowed early check in and late check out was extremely helpful.

Great Home

"Home is very well renovated. They have a few things they need to "finish" but nothing that you couldn't live with. I would suggest a pantry install somewhere. For such a large house there isn't a lot of space to but dry goods. Would also like to see more lighting around the perimeter. Little scary out there at night 😆 Otherwise it's amazing. Truly a great home. The Game room is fun! Lots of space for the whole family to spread out. Fire pit was perfect for all of our nightmare shenanigans 🤩 very accommodating owners. Lots of stuff for your fur babies too. I felt like that was the icing on the cake. Water bowls and things for pups on all floors. Just very thoughtful. Would stay again!

Amazing family reunion!

"We recently stayed at The Huntly Estate for our annual family reunion and the place was amazing! The house had all the amenities you would need for a large group and plenty of seating for meals using the dining table and bar area, or outdoor dining area. There was plenty of room for everyone, each bedroom had it’s own private bath which was great! The kids loved the bunk rooms too!! The fire pit and hot tub were a hit and the kids loved hanging out in the games room. I was grateful we could even bring our fur baby along and she had a great time running around the yard and hiking with us at the local trails, they even supplied bowls and blankets for her :) We were so close to Asheville for great dinners out, and a trip to the Biltmore Estate! The property is so quiet and peaceful you’d never know it’s so conveniently located! The Yonder team was very responsive and helpful when we had questions, we will definitely be back!!
