Guests can also park in the Buncombe County public garage on Coxe Avenue, located just behind the church across the street and a quick, easy walk from Heirloom Asheville

"Our stay was excellent. The excellence started with the clear communication with the host in the weeks, days and hours leading up to our stay. Check-in was smooth, and everything about the property description was accurate. For example, we wanted to be in the heart of downtown Asheville and we were. Everything was walkable. The property was very clean and appropriately stocked with the basics to make our stay comfortable. It was also very quiet, which made the stay very nice. The price was also appropriate. We loved it and would return.

"Stayed here for five days and had a blast. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic - right around the corner from downtown Asheville. It was also quiet - we had no noise issues from the restaurant nearby. We ended up parking on the street and feeding the meters, which wasn't an issue since we were out and about during the day time. Would definitely stay here again.

"The apartment is very nice, clean, well put-together and easy to access. A couple of comments. While it is marketed as a pet friendly apartment, there are rules about having animals on the furniture and barking (while the walls between units seem very thin). In addition, there are several cleaning responsibilities for check-out, more so than other similar rentals I have experienced. We did appreciate the flexibility about a check-out time.

"We booked this place last minute while traveling with our dogs, and it turned out to be a great choice. The host was very accommodating with pets, which made things much easier for us. The apartment is in a fantastic downtown Asheville location—everything is within walking distance, from restaurants to shops. Check-in was smooth and simple, and the space was clean and comfortable. "We had a great time at this place in Asheville. The location was fantastic, within a 5 minute walk to the main areas with lots of restaurants and shopping. Note that the unit is in a building with creaky floors, and we heard people walking around in the unit above us during the night. They had a white noise machine in the bedroom to help. The amenities were basic and as the listing says, hotel style. We enjoyed our stay overall.

"Fantastic location! Would recommend this place for 1 person or a couple that are both short/ small people. The bed/bedroom barely fit the bed with no room to maneuver. It is very comfortable for 1 person. Please note there is also no windows or natural light in the tiny bedroom. The place could use a deep professional clean (specifically moving furniture and cleaning underneath as there was alot of pet hair and dust). Overall cleanliness was good, bathroom and kitchen and bedding were clean, but question the items that the previous occupants do themselves. A thing to note, this property management company require you to sign a separate rental contract like a sublet. These are not clear very important things to know ahead of booking. Lastly, the cleaning/check out instructions should've been posted as you essentially do half of the cleaners job (eg, strip beds and separate sheets and blankets, wash all towels, and dump little trash into large trash can and tie up trash bag).

"If you’re wanting to see what downtown Asheville has to offer or visit the Biltmore Estate then this spot is the perfect location. The Biltmore Estate is a convenient 15 min drive. Plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants(most of them pet friendly)within walking distance. The Times is a great coffee/cocktail/mocktail bar with incredible macaroons right around the corner. Host was quick to respond and answer any questions we may have had; very helpful and even sent a list of food recommendations. Checkout has a cleaning list before leaving but was not that bad. I highly recommend his place if you and your four legged friend are wanting to visit Asheville.

"Originally, we booked this space because we planned to bring our dog with us. Ultimately, plans changed and we did not bring her with us, but we decided to use the rental anyway. We are glad we did. The extra space vs a hotel room was nice. While we didn't cook meals there, having the coffee maker and refrigerator was nice - for drinks, ice, leftovers. Having the living room to use and not find yourself in a bedroom setting all the time was nice, too. And we used the small deck/balcony to read and enjoy coffee during the day and to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. Overall, it was quiet. The location was super convenient and we walked almost everywhere - dining, shopping, my graduation ceremony, etc...

"Easy walkable access to all of the downtown, River Arts District (RAD) and anything a visitor might want to do. Located on Church Street just off of Haywood was a double edged sword - plenty of activity/nightlife and homeless and other down-on-their-luck folks each time I left the apartment. The unit was as described, but having to sign a separate “rental agreement” was an inconvenience. I couldn’t see the tiny print via the on the online agreement and felt uncomfortable signing because of this. My emails requesting it to be sent via PDF went unanswered so I just signed and hoped for the best. All in all a nice pet friendly place that for us was quiet and convenient.

"The condo was very nice. Check in was easy, property manager was very responsive, unit was very clean. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the minimal equipment in the kitchen. Usually it would not have been a problem, but we decided to cook one night, it was a little challenging. Also parking is challenging. It was in no way the property management’s fault, but is a small hassle. I have rented at these condos a few times and would not hesitate to book again. The location can not be beat.

"I wanted a fairly priced place in downtown Asheville that would be within easy walking distance to restaurants, breweries, etc and this definitely fit that description. It was exactly as it looks in the photos, it was clean, and the owner was responsive when I had questions. Also, the location is quiet despite being just off one of the main streets. There are a couple of things I didn't realize at the time of booking that I wish I had thought about ahead of time. These are no fault of the owner so it wouldn't be fair to lower the rating but they are good to be aware of if you're thinking about staying here: This rental does not have parking, so you will need to pay to park on the street or in a garage. There is a loading zone though and a parking garage about a block away. The only windows are the west side and there are no windows in the bedroom so there is not much natural light, especially in the morning. If you want to sleep in this could be a positive. The floors are real hardwood and they creek a bit so you may hear people walking around in the unit above. I live in a house and these things are probably typical for a downtown condo. Otherwise everything was perfect and this place is definitely worth a look if you're looking for place in downtown Asheville.

"Some of many Pros: This property is in 10mn at most (and 2-6mn to many) walk to all the shops and places to eat and drink in downtown Asheville. Advance email instructions on getting into the unit and finding parking told us everything we needed to know, making check-in (and check out) super easy. The unit was well stocked--I appreciated the fragrance free laundry soap especially-- and nicely furnished. there were reading lights on both sides of the bed, (the lack of which in so many rental is one of my pet peeves). We were in one of the dog friendly units with our dog, who loved the balcony. There were bowls for him and a sheet designated to being tossed over the sofa so he could hop up, which I thought was particularly nice and understanding. When I had a question during our stay, I sent an email and it was answered almost immediately. Minor Cons: Gotta say that the place seemed smaller than the pictures, especially the bedroom, but that wasn't really a problem. The hardwood floors of the old building and lack of soundproofing did lead to some noise, so earplugs would help any light sleeper.

"Beautiful condo and with a nice porch to chill on to enjoy some cocktails. There is even a bar situated in the same building but not close enough to be a noise issue. Foggy Mountain Pub has great food and drinks. Close to Orange Peel, Rabbit Rabbit and all the downtown locales. Will not regret and they allow dogs, what a treat. There are beautiful churches next to you with magnificent architecture and lawns to walk the dogs.

"The property was as depicted in pictures. We loved using the balcony! The bedroom is pretty tight and there aren’t any windows. Can be a positive or negative depending on your preferences. Main pitfall was how much you could hear other tenants, especially the ones above the unit. We were woken up every night from hearing the people above us walking and talking. Aside from that, the location is perfect for walking to restaurants and stores.

"Listing is exactly how owner states in description... Perfect downtown location! Just walk out of condo and turn right and you are directly located into many restaurants, shops and breweries. There is also a really good restaurant downstairs (Foggy Mountain). We spent time touring the city and eating at restaurants for several days. I would definitely get reservations to any popular reservations within a week in advance. Owner responded within the hour to all of our questions. We would definitely stay at condo again!!!

"You can walk just to about anywhere downtown. Only complaint really is that the hair dryer was cold air only which was less then ideal this time of year, so for a gal with long hair bring your own. Place had everything you could need and was clean and even had sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer at the building entry door and in the room which was very nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

"We have stayed at this location (in different rentals) multiple times and loved it! It is a quiet street yet it is only 2 blocks from the restaurants and breweries! This property was nice; however with it being a dog friendly apartment it did smell like former dogs and the floors had dog hair on them so my only complaint is with the cleaning between tenants. Other than that it is a nice condo and great location!

"This location is right in the middle of downtown quaint Asheville. It's on Church St. and you can walk to shopping, a bar with live music, or breakfast just across the street. The living room is nice sized and the bathroom has a floor specially heated with air. The kitchen has all you need. The bedroom is tight. Very tight. We couldn't even shut the door. But once you realize you don't need to, it's such a great spot, clean, centrally located and fully equipped.

Great location

"This is a great place to stay if you want to park the car and explore the city. The building has been renovated and was still working out some "kinks" with the security system when we arrived. Everything was fixed and we felt very safe in this building. The condo is very clean all the way from the entrance to the apartment itself. My suggestions to the owner - maybe leave at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, a bar of soap and box of tissue in the bath. The bedroom is pretty tight quarters and definitely needs a clothes bar in the closet. There is really not enough room to leave luggage in the bedroom. The deck would be a nice place to have morning coffee, but unfortunately the two dumpsters and several trash containers below spoil the experience. All that being said, I would stay here again.

"The place was as described and was the perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I. Beware of parking, there isn't a good close overnight option so parking down the hill a few blocks away at the Aloft is your best option. It's $10/night. One issue we encountered was when we got there. We had a heck of a time getting to Asheville on Friday night so when we finally got there, parked, found the condo and checked the lock box, there wasn't a key in it. You can only call a voicemail or email to get in touch with the managers (after hours) so it took a short bit to get in touch with them. I'd say it was 20-30 minutes from finding no key to getting in the condo. Not a huge deal but given the time we had getting there and finding parking, it definitely dampened the start to our vacation. Unit was great, location was fantastic and the city makes up for any headaches.

"Stayed here for two nights, the location could not be beat. Asheville is a very walkable city with cool shops and tons of breweries and restaurants. The condo is nice, the bedroom very small, cannot open closet all the way or shut bedroom door. We realized the armoire outside the condo door holds general supplies like toilet paper, coffee, etc. Can hear the people upstairs walking around but honestly, we were rarely in there for it to be an issue. Some confusion getting in the first day, look for the recessed third door from the bar. Property manager was on it as soon as I left him a message. We unloaded in a 30 minute loading zone in front of the church on same side of condo then parked behind church across the street. I think it’s called Sears Alley. It was not a problem. We only used coffee maker, but I saw kitchen supplies like it’s & pans. TV was something to figure out, but again, manger called back and talked us through it. Nice deck off the living room. All in all a great space for 2 adults.

"The location of this condo is perfect. Everything in downtown is easily walk-able. The condo itself was as advertised - perfect for two people. As others have mentioned, the bedroom is quite small, and the door to the room isn't able to close due to it hitting the end of the bed. This wasn't an issue for us, as we typically awoke at the same time. Though, it could be an issue if others are on different sleep schedules. Communication with the owner was great. We received all the information we needed about check-in/check-out well in advance of our visit, and we had no issues accessing the condo. There is a small spot just ahead of the condo which allows 30 minute loading, so we unloaded our things there. Parking can be challenging in Asheville, so we parked in the lot the owners suggested and had no issues. Parking was about $12/day. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots/pans, though a few more bakeware items and a toaster would be nice. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again!

"Can’t beat location! We walked everywhere the whole weekend. Patio is nice. Foggy Brew Pub is nice to hang in back patio - so close you can see from apartment. Building was quiet. Bed was comfortable. There’s nothing luxury or amazing about the apartment - very basic. Mast General back entrance was close and Button Bagels.

The only complaint is that the walls and ceilings are so thin and you can hear the neighbors quite loudly.
