"We had a wonderful stay! The building is secure as well as quiet, and you can't beat the location. We enjoyed our morning walks to downtown for coffee and exploring the surroundings. It was exactly what we needed for two couples. The condo is spacious, clean and exactly as described. Would definitely consider staying again the next time we visit Asheville.

"We’ve stayed here a couple of times. It is very comfortable and laid out nicely. The deck is great. It also has everything in the kitchen. We love it. The only downside is the neighborhood can be a bit noisy with cars and garbage trucks.

"We will come back. The unit is well furnished and located proximate to downtown, restaurants, shops. Walk anywhere downtown. It is comfortable and clean. Parking is secure in gated garage. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Highly recommend.

"When looking for a place to stay during my trip to Asheville, many locations were considered. I kept coming back to "Shelley's Getaway" due to location, past reviews and secure, off street parking (important factor to me). Shelley's did not disappoint. Check-in was seamless, the condo was very clean and just as described. With this trip, I wanted to achieve "peace and quiet" and this location provided that. I would highly recommend this location if you are traveling to Asheville. The folks at Yonder were excellent to work with as well. "My wife and I and another couple spent the weekend in Asheville for my birthday weekend. Asheville is one of our favorite places and Shelley's Asheville Getaway was the perfect place to stay during our long weekend! Communication with the host was perfect. We had great food and drink, and I was able to see a concert at the Orange Peel which was on my bucket list! Being a short walk from this venue plus the rest of downtown Asheville was a bonus! I was definitely recommend this luxury condo for your next trip to Asheville!

"We had a wonderful 30-day stay at this condo in downtown Asheville. The large patio, which somehow stays cool even when it is hot at street level, was a particularly nice amenity. The indoor parking with EV chargers made our Tesla feel right at home. The unit was attractively and comfortably furnished. There were plentiful high quality appliances. Potentially difficult problems with the TV and washer were dealt with quickly, decisively, and with good humor by Yonder, the management company and Leroy, their excellent representative. The location of the condo is as good as it gets. There is a popular beer and burger spot less than a block away in one direction, and an inviting little cocktail bar next door in the other direction. About a dozen restaurants, including some of Asheville’s finest, as well as numerous shops, galleries , and an excellent museum, are but a few minutes’ walk. (A ball park and performance hall too, if you’re interested). We will be back.

Five Star Stay

"Had a five star stay at the property! Clean with all the necessary amenities. Great location, easily accessible, with in a very short walk to downtown area with the cutest shops and several restaurants. We traveled with our pet and had a blast at the Doggie on the Diamond night with the Asheville Tourist, again only a short walk away. Parking garage a huge plus for downtown parking. We will definitely return to Shelly’s Getaway and this great city surrounded by the beautiful mountains.

"This is the second time we've stayed in this condo and both times have been a great experience. The condo was immaculate, and the location was perfect to have downtown within walking distance. A couple of minor negatives were that we were provided with only one hair dryer for two bathrooms and only one towel per person for a several days stay. Also, the floors in the shower stalls are extremely slippery!

"Highly recommend! Usually pictures make a place look bigger, better. This is not the case. The apartment is great. The kitchen is fully loaded, the apartment is spacious, the location fabulous. Great that it comes with parking, too. We would definitely stay here again.

"We loved our 5 night stay at Shelly’s Getaway in Asheville. The location is excellent for walking to many restaurants, museums, art galleries, breweries etc. The condo was spotless and well stocked. While the neighborhood was quiet and safe, the extra security of the parking garage using PIN codes for entry, and the security within the condo complex itself using access codes -was welcome and it added to the overall comfort. We appreciated having a dedicated parking spot in the garage at the ground level. Very helpful! The private balcony was really nice on the warm afternoons and evenings. Five Stars!

"Location was great. We could walk to every thing. The home was very nice. Once of the best stocked homes we have stayed at which was super nice for a long weekend. The garage for car was also very nice. Slightly in convenient for second car but at least you gave me directions as to where I could park mine so that was super helpful Asheville itself is a parking nightmare so all in all you made it easy. "Condo is bright and airy with high ceilings and plenty of Space. We would have definitely enjoyed the large furnished balcony in warmer weather. Living area is very nicely furnished and equipped and kitchen had everything we needed. Location is close to restaurants and a short walk to the center of downtown. The BR window treatments don't completely block out streetlights and lights from adjacent buildings. We've always had a good experience renting through Yonder.

"We stayed at Shelley's Asheville Getaway in Asheville for the week. It is an amazing property! Conveniently located to breweries, restaurants, & all the south slope has to offer. The property is immaculate and spacious for 2 couples- each bedroom with its own en suite bathroom. The condo was well stocked with all you would need to start your week, even if you get in late. Coffee, sugar, powdered creamer were available in case we didn’t make it to the store before arrival! The balcony was one of our favorite areas. The property mgmt company was responsive to our questions & requests. I would highly recommend this property to anyone desiring a great downtown location. I give more than 5 stars if I could. LOL

"Perfect location on the Slope. Great balcony; we made a true breakfast each morning and found the kitchen very well equipped. Good linens and towels. Our second visit to this unit and we were extremely pleased! With so many hotels not doing daily housecleaning, having full kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony, and two full bathrooms made booking here a no brainer.

"Beautifully decorated, very comfortable & well furnished unit in newer building. Surprisingly quiet overnight despite central location. Appreciate it being pet friendly! Advertised as "luxurious" however no tissues or bath items provided (1 bottle of multi use soap), 5 mismatched hangers in master closet, only 1 hairdryer for 2 baths. Considering we paid over $700/nt with all fees/taxes a few more "niceties" were expected. Would be nice to have king bed in master & some nicer bath towels!

We found dinner and very good beer within short walking distance from the unit, and covered garage parking was easy to navigate when we ventured out beyond the neighborhood. An Excellent Getaway

"I would actually rate this 4.5, but that rating doesn't exist on this site. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and loved the unit and the easy accessibility to downtown Asheville (though you do have to walk up a couple of hills). The condo building was clean as was the unit. The indoor garage in the building made parking a breeze, which is difficult in downtown. The terrace patio was a great place to eat our breakfast each morning. The kitchen is well stocked with easy to use appliances and cooking utensils. This location is also in walking distance of the Asheville Tourists minor league baseball field. Our only problem was an outbreak of ants on the kitchen stove and countertop. However, when we called Yonder maintenance they sent out a man quickly and he placed ant traps to solve the problem. We would definitely return here.

"Great pet friendly place in a great location! We were visiting Asheville to see our favorite band at the Orange Peel. It could not have been more convenient as it's less than 2 blocks away. There are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance also. The place itself was spacious and well-decorated and has a fantastic balcony to hang out on. The building is quiet despite being so close to everything. The host was easy to communicate with and entry and check in were a breeze. We hope to visit Asheville again soon and would definitely stay here again if it worked out.

Loved Everything About our Trip!

"This is such a beautiful place. We were extremely comfortable hanging out in the high end furnishings. Seems brand new. Building on a cool street but off main area by a couple blocks. Sidewalk below was quiet. We loved walking to everything like stores, galleries, restaurants, even a co-op grocery open to the public (a blast form the 70’s/80’s) about 1.5 blocks away. Awesome food everywhere - Harvest Pizza - the best pizza and we live in a pizza crazy city, St. Louis. Also I met a cool woman in the parking garage who owns here and she said she is glad about how nice rental guests are.

"The property is exactly as the pictures show, if not better! Great to have both bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was one of the most well-stocked of any place we've stayed, and the A/C was wonderful for August days. We spent quite a bit of time on the balcony and appreciated it and it's comfy furniture. To top off our trip, on the morning we were packing to leave, we spotted a HUGE bear outside! Not something we expected, staying in the city, but what a treat! :) We were within walking distance to SO much and particularly recommend the Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse for such a unique dining experience - great food, drinks and staff. We also loved the Storm Rhum Bar and many others. Our trip one day to Grove Park was wonderful and their lunch was also a win. Can't say enough good things about this property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

"I brought my son here for his 40th birthday. The management emailed me about a service that will come and decorate, deliver food etc... I was able to order a few decorations and a cake to surprise him with when we walked in. This place was top notch. Secure, Clean, spacious and everything was new. The kitchen had anything you would need although we didn’t cook at all due to all the fun eateries around 😃 The beds were very comfortable along with the living room furniture. The patio was delightful and a nice quiet area for morning coffee. Location was perfect. Walking distance to many breweries, restaurants and shops. We brought our dog and it was easy to take her everywhere we went. Most all patios allowed dogs and most of the shops are dog friendly. We stayed Tuesday-Sunday. It was pretty quiet the first couple of days and the town really came alive Thursday-Sat. We loved this place so much we asked if we could stay another night. Management was very easy to contact and we were able to handle another night stay with no problem. We will definitely be back.

Asheville condo

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in downtown Asheville. The condo was great. It was well decorated, very clean and had a fabulous large covered porch. It is only a few blocks to the center of the city and there were lots of great breweries very close by. We walked to dinner every night. My only suggestion would be King beds instead of queen. Otherwise it is perfect.

Amazing Service from Yonder

"This property was in the absolute perfect location for brewery hopping in Asheville! Just a short walk down hill to many breweries of uphill to the main downtown hub of restaurants. The condo was so spacious and very clean. It had wonderful decor and all the amenities you could possibly need for a long weekend. Yonder was so amazing and was able to accommodate an early check in for us as well.

Wonderful Way to Experience Asheville

"Shelley's Asheville getaway is a wonderful way to experience Asheville and the relaxing nearby sites. It has a safe, sheltered parking spot and the open concept floor plan of the apartment is great for planning the day's adventures. The kitchen is perfect for indoor cooking or take-out and the rooms are large and comfortable. The short walk (several blocks) to the center make it perfect for experiencing the eclectic Asheville scene.

"Love this property! It was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The building was very clean and the unit was as equally clean and well appointed. The location is great...within walking distance of really great breweries and restaurants. With a 3 year old, this was priceless. Get in the stroller and let's go! I have already recommended this property to friends. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the owners for opening up there condo to us!

"We stayed at the Shelley’s Asheville Gateway in January this year and loved it.. Modern, new construction, clean spacious condo in the heart of Asheville!! Great Location , close to all the downtown restaurants and breweries. Whether you want to visit Biltmore or the North Carolina Arboretum, or just stroll around downtown – which is my favorite, Shelley’s Gateway offers it all due to its prime location!!!. We have been to Asheville several times, but this was the first time we stayed in downtown amidst all the action .The condo also had a beautiful patio that offered great city views !!! Added bonus –pet friendly, free private parking and free Wifi….. I would give Shelley’s Asheville Gateway condo a 5 star rating !!!!
