We want to provide an update on the status of Lake Lure following the debris left by Hurricane Helene. Cleanup efforts are progressing. We anticipate that the lake will likely remain closed for the majority of the 2025 summer season. But while the water may be off-limits, the magic of Lake Lure is still here—breathtaking views, charming restaurants, local vineyards, scenic trails, Rumbling Bald golf courses, and the Tryon Equestrian Center just 25 minutes away. Your time in Western North Carolina will still be unforgettable, filled with new memories while supporting this resilient community. We are truly grateful for your visit and look forward to welcoming you!

The primary bedroom has a spacious king bed with comfortable bedding. The queen bedroom provides a peaceful space to unwind after exploring. Additionally, the bunk room, which features two twin/full bunk beds, offers an excellent option for kids or larger groups.

The living room offers a relaxing atmosphere with plush seating around the indoor gas fireplace. The smart TV provides easy access to your favorite streaming services for a relaxing movie night. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the essentials and a coffee maker for your morning brew. Dine indoors or step outside to the deck for a meal with mountain views.

Step outside to the large deck, perfect for enjoying coffee or barbecuing on the charcoal grill/smoker. Gather around the fire pit in the yard for an evening under the stars. The hot tub provides the ultimate relaxation spot after a day of exploration.

The game room is a hub of entertainment, equipped with air hockey, ping pong, and a pool table. It is fun for both kids and adults and with such a variety of options, your stay at Serenity Cabin promises to be filled with excitement and laughter.

A Perfect Mountain Retreat Near Lake Lure, NC

"Our recent stay at a charming mountain cabin near Lake Lure was absolutely delightful. The cabin was immaculate—spotless and truly like new—which made for an instantly welcoming and comfortable experience. The furnishings were both stylish and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was a standout feature, offering plenty of room to store our food and equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Having three baths was a big plus, providing privacy and convenience for everyone in our group. Evenings were especially fun thanks to the basement area, which featured a big-screen TV and a gaming table—a perfect spot for relaxing and spending quality time together. The outdoor spaces were just as appealing. We loved the sweet gathering spots, including a relaxing spa and a firepit, which were ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The setting was wonderfully private, yet it was still a short, easy drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. One of the highlights of our trip was venturing out on day trips to Hendersonville and Waynesville. Along the way, we enjoyed stopping at local produce stands and trout farms, adding to the charm of the experience. If you're seeking a peaceful mountain getaway with modern comforts, plenty of space, and easy access to local attractions, this cabin is a true gem. Highly recommend!
