Location: Private lodge estate home located on 7+ extremely private acres with 180° sweeping views, nature and serenity. Approximately 20-25 minutes to both downtown Cashiers & Lake Toxaway, groceries, restaurants, breweries and more. You are 45 minutes to Brevard, 35 minutes to Highlands, and 1 hour 30 minutes to downtown Asheville & The Biltmore Estate. The drive is 1 hour and 15 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, and 2 hours by car to Atlanta. It is fairly easy to access the home, via fully paved roads right up to the estate property. The home affords year round access to any and all vehicles.

Sapphire Falls Alchemy made its premiere to Yonder in 2021. However, this spectacular destination lodge has been entertaining travelers for years & is becoming one of the most popular homes in our Yonder luxury portfolio, and very quickly became one of the most requested! It is not surprising when you put a terrific estate property & home together with simply spectacular views, outdoor spaces & amenities.

Sapphire Falls Alchemy is a 6 bedroom / 5.5 bathroom Modern rustic retreat, with views of the falls, Fairfield Lake, and miles of the Southern Appalachian Mountains . It features top of the line amenities, two outdoor decks overlooking the mountains, indoor fireplace and hot tub. Enjoy the outdoor deck fireplace as well, for a true mountain experience & hours of enjoyment year-round. The upper and lower decks allow our guests to experience the breathtaking long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Magnificent post & beam mountain treasure designed by Alex Brown. The Great Room has a stunning stone fireplace and is the "gathering space". The chef's grade kitchen, located off the living room, has its own large quartz, shiplap island with a gas cooktop. The kitchen offers state of the art stainless steel appliances, double ovens, quartz countertops, and is fully equipped with all the necessary cookware and appliances needed for creating wonderful meals, all while enjoying the view. The main living room features a fireplace with a 65" Smart TV. Comfy seating for everyone.

The home affords guest access to the facilities at Sapphire Valley Resort; including swimming pool, playground, Game Room, tennis courts, workout room, lake access an so much more! You are close to fishing, swimming and some of WNC's best hiking trails.

While everyone enjoys the outdoor views, amenities & more, for those that just want to kick back and relax, you can pull up a chair and take in the view, (the long & short range views are spectacular!!), observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very private, quiet and exclusive mountain neighborhood community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the mountain neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

PETS: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. NO exceptions. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.

"We were blessed to stay at this amazing property at the end of October of 2023. We live in South Florida and try annually to make a trek up north to see some fall leaves and cooler weather. Sapphire Alchemy was above and beyond what we could have expected and much more. Even from the drive entering the development coming up to the house the scenery was incredible! Our group has stayed in scores of vacation rentals over the years; summer and fall predominantly. There is always that aha moment when you open the door of the rental. We were all blown away when we entered the front door and saw the beautiful home and the even more beautiful view off of the back deck. The house itself goes beyond the photos depicted. You can't get a true essence of the size and the space and the colors and textures and comfortability and Casual Elegance until you're there in person. The bedrooms were all comfortable and decorated beautifully. The kitchen accommodated 11 of us so comfortably with several cooking at the same time. It has everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal and several different workstations. We spent a lot of our time on the back deck andv the screen in porch. The weather was cool enough to light a fire in the fire place in both the screened and porch and family room. This was so enjoyable to Us South Florida Folk! For the practical folk. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 11 people. The entire house was meticulously clean. Plenty of towels comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need including a coffee maker and a Kuerig. The road coming up and into the property was very easily navigated and a huge driveway with plenty of parking space. We took day trips into Cashiers, and Highlands. There are several lovely waterfalls within a 25 minute distance that you can view easily. We drove down to the Sapphire Valley Resort the last day we were there and would probably spend more time there in the future. The lake that you can see from the back of the house has a walking path around it and it was beautiful. We ate at a couple local restaurants in Sapphire that were recommended to us and they were amazing. The people at Yonder were incredible. They were professional, yet friendly and so very helpful. They gave us many good tips and also were quick to respond when we had questions to ask in regards to parking Etc. Not sure if there's a place that I could post some pictures. We got an amazing drone shot of the property and the Fall Foliage. Truly one of the most memorable vacations we've had.

"Sapphire Falls Alchemy proved to be the perfect house for our long-weekend get-away with friends! From the moment you walk in, the views out the back of the house make you just want to take a deep breath and relax. The house was very comfortable yet roomy enough to provide privacy if desired. There was plenty of space to cook and hang out together, enjoy meals at the large table, play games in the Living Room or relax on the back deck in the hot tub while taking in the incredible views. Everything was in good shape (we had two minor maintenance items but Yonder was very responsive) and the decor really enhances the mountain atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked so I would highly recommend this house for a larger group who wants to take a break and enjoy the many nature, hiking and shopping areas Sapphire and Cashiers has to offer!

"We had a wonderful stay at this house. Views were truly exceptional! We had a great week with our extended family.....8 adults and 5 children. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the SV amenities. Besides the gorgeous mountains, lake, and waterfalls to be viewed, we also saw wild bears, turkeys, hawks, and a fox. The rhododendron / mountain laurel were in bloom, along with numerous wild flowers.

"One of the finest houses I’ve ever rented with the single most extraordinary view from the back deck. It honestly looks like a green screen. This house was perfect for our three families traveling together with a selection of teens and elementary-aged kids. Plenty of getaway spaces, like the screened-in porch with a large fire place and comfortable couches, and the screened-in porch off the master bedroom and the game room over the garage and the spacious library with a giant desk and comfortable couch. Kitchen was fully equipped and lovely. We’d be hard-pressed to find something that needed improvement there.

"Can’t say enough great things about the beautiful retreat in the mountains. Our family of 15 vacationed here before Christmas to celebrate my parents’ 80th birthdays. The home was beautifully appointed and even decorated for Christmas which made our holiday vacation that much more special! The view was spectacular and you could hear the waterfall from the house! The home was clean and very well stocked… including spices for cooking, firewood, hand soaps, shampoo, games, books, puzzles, extra blankets, walking sticks, sauna towels, and even portable heaters in bedrooms to name a few. Beds were very comfortable and home was large enough for us all to have our own space. Yonder was easy to work with, available and accommodating. I can’t say enough great things about this home and our stay. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely return, if in the area.

Comfortably Accommodating in Every Way, and the Views!

"Amazing waterfall and mountain / lake views from the back deck, with no light pollution at night either. Quiet and comfortably appointed with a fully-stocked cook's kitchen, including a coffee grinder, wine cooler, 2 fridges, big stove and outdoor grill. We easily cooked for our group of 12 and were able to all sit together at the big dining table. Take note of the directions into the neighborhood - you will lose cell service, but wifi was great for calls and online research into this beautiful area. Good tires and / or 4WD recommended for the gravel hill in the driveway. We absolutely loved it there and would go back in a heartbeat!

"Alchemy was just the ticket for our family of 16 gathering. Our family enjoyed local kayaking and hiking but most enjoyed the restful porches and views (river and a wonderful waterfall just off the deck) from this beautiful home. The home is well equipped, very quiet, comfortable and private. My less than perfect rating is related to maintenance issues. Bulbs were out all over the home - toilet room (yikes), lamps, and most serious, lights on the stairs leading to the hot tub. Also, we were unable to get the garage door to lock. These issues did not prevent our family from having a restful and fun family gathering, however. We will be back!!!
