Relaxing stay

"We love Montreat and this property does not disappoint. Clean, quiet and a pretty winter view. Our family enjoyed the fireplaces and fire pit. Furniture was comfortable. We would stay again. Driveway is very steep and shared. The only thing missing for us was lamps, as we don’t enjoy overhead lighting.

"Lovely home with lots of charm! The kitchen looks much bigger in the online pics, but we made it work - lots of rubbing elbows :-) Beautiful views but make sure your car can handle the hills up and up and up… and up! Use the directions they send rather than GPS.

Loved Our Stay!!

"Our family LOVED our stay! The house fit our family perfectly, the view was fantastic and the town of Black Mountain is one of our favorite places. Note to future renters…the couch reclines!! We didn’t discover that until the last night and wished we knew the whole week. LOL! The cabin is very well stocked and had everything we needed. It’s not pictured in the listing, but there is a fire pit table on the back porch, which was an added bonus. We loved our stay!!

"It was a really nice place. We were there for a wedding at the Barn at Montreat and the bridal couple liked our house so much that they spent two nights with us. Very nice view and nice to have all the bathrooms.

"Very nice home. 9 family members: 6 adults and 3 small children. We had a great time. Loved the main porch with the fire pit- big hit with family . Just be aware ( especially large groups): - kitchen very small. Made food prep challenging and lots of bumping into each other ! - living room/family room on main level more compact that appear in pictures - driveway steep ( but manageable) Overall, a good time for us

"The house was beautiful and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it was nice to have a bathroom for every bedroom. Loved the wood stove and the porch gas fire feature. The indoor and outdoor furniture was new and comfortable. Views are lovely. It’s a very clean comfortable group friendly house. We would all love to stay there again.

Family Reunion

"The house worked very nicely as a home base for our family reunion. Everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom was ideal! The house was clean and well maintained and the kitchen was fully stocked. The kitchen and dining room are a bit small for a large group but we made it work. The deck and fire table were wonderful to sit around at night and when we discovered that there was not much propane left in the tank, Yonder’s team was very responsive and promptly brought more. The location was great for walking and hiking in Montreat as well as easy access to Black Mountain and Asheville. In Montreat, Lookout was our favorite hike and the coffee/sandwich shop at Lake Susan was nice to walk to. The road to the house and the driveway are a bit steep but once you do it a couple of times it was no problem. Thank you for a great time with our family!

"A beautiful, isolated property with an equipped kitchen and tons of space for fun. We really enjoyed taking advantage of the kitchen and cooking for all of us, while the rest played board and video games through the house. I only wish we had more time! Location is excellent, a drive away from Asheville, and the firepit & grill are really cute accessories. We had many a long and late chat on that porch.

"Me and family stayed over Labor’s Day Weekend and we loved everything about this house. It feels very cozy, it was extremely clean and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare great meals. Beautiful, brand new home with awesome fireplaces, gorgeous deck

"Stayed here with a few families, and it was perfect. Gorgeous house, newly built. The decks are awesome, and are the main outdoor space to hang out in (no yard otherwise). There are several fireplaces in the house, including a gas one in the master bedroom. The ping pong table was a hit with the kids. I will say that while all the roads getting up there are paved, they can be quite steep or winding, so just know that; it comes with going to the mountains.

Perfect Home

"Property was incredible--beautiful,clean and kitchen was very well stocked. We just had one slight problem. The directions stopped at the end of Salem. We took a left turn instead of right. No one in the neighborhood seem to know where Covenant Ln was. We were exhausted after a long drive.We tried to call Yonders but it went straight to the voice mail.So it is important to know to take a right at the end of Salem. Other than that the property was perfect. We will definitely stay here again and definitely rent through Yonders.

A Great Home

"Just a beautiful place to stay with fantastic views! We had perfect weather for the first weekend in December and the outdoor porches and decks were perfect. We were very comfortable with 13 people and loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Be prepared for a steep driveway but once you get there the views will be well worth it. Super clean and just a great home. Owners were also easy to work with and very quick to respond.

"We LOVED the rustic timber. Accommodated our team and their spouses. Enough space for us to be together, yet enough space for all to have our own space!! Every room had an on suite. Truly Remarkable Stay

"We stayed at the Rustic Timber house with a group of 10 of us over the course of a long weekend and had a truly remarkable stay. The house is located up on Black Mountain in this pleasant little town called Montreat. The views from the house are breathtaking and the house features multiple awesome porches to enjoy the scenery including one with a fire place. The place was clean and exactly as described. We were all able to sleep comfortably and I would highly recommend this house to a large family or group visiting the Asheville area.

Great House and Views

"Very nice place in Montreat, pretty much at the top of the mountain so the views are great as is the house. The furniture is nice and everything is designed well. It’s also in a great location as many trails are a 5-10 minute drive and black mountain is close with some good restaurants. The only downside was the grill wasn’t great so we didn’t use it, but other than that would definitely recommend it.

"We had 12 people stay in this home for a bachelorette weekend. This home was absolutely perfect. The outside deck with fire table was perfect for everything from morning coffee to cozy evenings.
