"This house was very nice and accommodated our multiple families perfectly! Great layout and sleeping arrangements. Lots of fun with the ping pong table! We were in town for a horse show at TIEC and the house was slightly farther than we thought. It was a little difficult to find at night off the windy roads and a tough drive in the morning to the horse show.

"Rock Springs Retreat was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving. We loved s'mores by the fire pit, hiking a few of the local trails, and zip-lining nearby. The house is well appointed and comfortable. We had two families and the upstairs and downstairs bedroom layout worked well for us. The kids loved the game room downstairs and the swing! The host was very attentive and thoughtful -- they even loaned me two cooking appliances we needed to make our Thanksgiving meal. We would definitely recommend this beautiful spot to others.

"This home is wonderful, with great amenities and is an amazing place for a nice family vacation. Location is just remote enough to disconnect, but close enough drive to main attractions (there’s an Ingles close by where we bought groceries and got gas, close to Lake Lure, hikes and about 1hr to Asheville). Because it is a bit remote the wifi is hit or miss. Good thing if you want to get away but could be an issue if you plan on streaming movies or have to do some last minute work (suggest bringing a hotspot). They do have a variety of movies/shows to watch and satellite tv. We had a great time around the bon fire, grilling and playing rounds of ping-pong. Definitely recommended this home if you have a largish family (6-10 ppl), plenty of rooms and space. Plus, the hosts were very accommodating, fast response to our queries and left great suggestions for activities around the area.

"If you are seeking a getaway to become more connected with family or another group of choice in a remote area, then this is the place. The accommodations are of excellent quality and comfortably sleep 10 persons. Places for gathering and team building are plentiful, from the dining room to the basement. The check-in and check out process is smooth and the host is welcoming. Simply put, we had an amazing experience.

"Fantastic home close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park. Well appointed, spacious and clean. The game room with its ping-pong table was a hit. WI-FI is quite spotty throughout the house and definitely needs intervention/remediation. We had a slight issue with a bathroom shower head and appreciated the prompt response from the host. Overall, a lovely vacation!!!

"We found accommodations clean and faithful to the description. It worked well for family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped and served us well along with the grill. We enjoyed time on the front and back porches and making s’mores with the fire pit. the location worked well, getting to grocery store, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Green River Tubing in fairly short car rides. (Most within 20 minutes). Internet speed wasn’t up to streaming much video, but otherwise the internet was reliable and met our needs. Satellite TV worked well. Communications with host were great and timely.
