"Unserer Aufenthalt im Rock House war wunderschön. Es ist genügend Platz, die Betten sind gut und die Räume schön eingerichtet. Einzige Abzugspunkte aus unserer Sicht: In einem der Schlafzimmer lässt sich eines der Fenster leider nicht verdunkeln, einige Küchenutensilien in den Schränken, sowie die Tischdecke auf dem Esstisch waren nicht sauber (alles andere jedoch blitzblank). Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist zeitlich etwas verzögert, jedoch sehr gut und entgegenkommend. Translation: Our stay at Rock House was wonderful. There is plenty of space, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are nicely furnished. The only downsides, in our view: one of the windows in one of the bedrooms cannot be darkened, and some kitchen utensils in the cupboards—as well as the tablecloth on the dining table—were not clean (though everything else was spotless). Communication with the host involves a bit of a delay, but is otherwise very good and accommodating.

"Family and I stayed at Rock House for a few days, cabin was amazing, beautiful views all around. Quiet surrounding with fairly quick access to Interstate 40. Cabin was extremely comfortable with everything you need for a few quiet days away in the mountains. I will definitely want to stay here again when we return to visit.

"This is a nice, clean, quiet place to stay. The house is exactly what you see in the photos. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and look great, while the rest of the house retains its rustic charm with numerous warm wood floors and furnishings. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

"Host was amazing, very prompt to answer questions and amenities were plentiful. Beautiful and comfortable home. Would stay here again. The upstairs staircase does limit mobility for seniors, otherwise all else is perfect.

"We truly loved this charming and one-of-a-kind house. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located near all our outdoor activities. The only downside was its location on a busy road, which made it a bit less quiet when spending time outside.

"Located 8.5 miles from downtown Marion and meters from HWY 70 E, the Rock House on Maple Hill is a great place for a family getaway or a personal retreat. It sits in a hill and overlooks a pond. The house has a rustic charm but with modern amenities. It has modern bathrooms and kitchen. The house, the bed linens and towels were very clean! Highly recommended!

"The Rock House at Maple Hill Rd in Marion NC and its nearby Barn House were welcoming places to stay and fellowsip as a family. Both were charming and quaint, immaculately clean, an equipped with fire pits in the grounds. The place was a short drive to Biltmore Estate and good restaurants. For EV owners. Charging stations were just less than five miles away.

"We stayed at the Rock House on Maple Hill in Old Fort, NC. A wonderful quaint house that reminded me of the house in Disney’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”. Wonderful view from the vantage point of being on top of a hill too.
