This completely restored nineteenth-century "Kitchen House" offers a tranquil escape in the beautiful Flat Rock area, conveniently located near Hendersonville and a short drive away from the endless hiking and biking trails of DuPont State Forest.

The living area boasts a gas fireplace, creating a cozy ambiance during cooler evenings. Relaxation continues outside on the screened-in porch, where you can savor the fresh mountain air. A perfectly equipped kitchen designed for those who love to cook and dine alfresco, a gas grill is available for preparing delicious meals surrounded by nature.

The house features two cozy bedrooms, providing comfortable accommodation for a small group or family. "Excellent location. Lovely piece of property, close to everything, yet secluded. The house itself is comfortable, roomy, and clean. We enjoyed the mornings taking in the wildlife and afternoons seeing the sights. Would definitely stay again.

Great Family Trip

"Our family had a great time at the Piedmont Kitchen House. It was as described - and the peacefulness of the setting was ideal for my young family. Our two boys enjoyed hiking and exploring the property and we would very much consider returning. Shoutout to Yonder's helpfulness in troubleshooting the gas fireplace. The pilot went out and they Facetimed me to get it back working again. Their service was very responsive!

"The house is amazing. Small and cozy but plenty of room, clean, nice furniture and cookware, oven works great. We saw plenty of animals and a white squirrel. The heat and fireplace do a good job of heating the house quickly. Awesome porches, with one being screened in. 10/10

"The house was lovely. The property was serene. The location was not hard to find using Google maps and very convenient to the Camp Pinnacle event we were attending. Yes, the first trip up the driveway takes some faith as you closely pass behind two buildings. But that first trip up the driveway was worth it and subsequent trips were easy. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the house and the area for a fun getaway.

"Lovely 2 level cottage home that was located on a beautiful 65-acre property! We saw deer on the property a couple of days during our stay. The screened in back porch is such an awesome spot to sit and relax with a glass of wine that is so peaceful. We actually spent most evenings on that porch as well as splitting our time in front of the cozy gas fireplace in the living room. The place is so quite like your in your own secluded rural area but it is only about a 5-10mins out of the heart of downtown Hendersonville. Great place to stay!
