Welcome to NOLA House! This like-new home is located in the Grovemont community in Swannanoa! You’re just 15 minutes to the quaint downtown of Black Mountain and 20 minutes to all downtown Asheville has to offer. Perfectly located for those who are looking for outdoor activities and close to breweries, restaurants, shopping and more!

As you enter, the cozy, yet open floor plan will welcome you with open arms and you’ll immediately feel right at home. The main level includes the living room with comfortable seating, large screen tv for streaming, the kitchen with stainless appliances, boasts a large island where everyone can gather while the chef cooks up their favorite meals. The deck is off the kitchen, featuring a dining table, this is the perfect spot to take in the mountain air and catch glimpses of the mountains through the wooded terrain. Enjoy a newly built outdoor deck with comfortable seating, an outdoor table for dining, and a six person tub!

The primary bedroom is on the main level and has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The other 2 guest rooms, with queen beds, are on the second level and share a full bath. There is also a sitting room with a full bed at the top of the stairs. The laundry is on the second level as well. Don't forget about the wood burning fire pit and the fenced in yard, so bring your four legged friend with you!

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. Please inquire with our Guest Experience Team for details and final rates.

"We really enjoyed our stay here - peaceful, clean, spacious, comfy beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Also the upstairs bonus space was a nice area to just chill out and chat before bed. Although surrounding areas still with some damage/debris, no issues driving to and from the house - very safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Space Close to Asheville – Minor Improvements

"We had a great visit to Asheville over a long weekend, and this house was a cozy retreat after long days of walking and hiking. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There seemed to be several dogs in the neighborhood, with a few barking occasionally at night but mostly it was quiet. The mornings on the back deck were tranquil looking out into the mountains, we especially loved the gate on the deck at the top of the stairs to close if we wanted the dogs out with us but close by. We did encounter a young black bear as the next door neighbor warned us we might, but to be expected in the area! Our only concern was the amount of trash in the yard, and we were largely concerned with what could've injured our 2 dogs' paws. Dog owners beware: Check the backyard if your dog plans to do any running around it, or tends to get into trash. I did a quick walkthrough the first night, and found a piece of a rusted metal can, glass shards, a glass bottle, plastic bottles (one that looked as though it contained oil), and pieces of plastic. We found a section of the yard clear of any trash to play fetch with our dogs. It didn't seem as if the property maintenance did much upkeep in the backyard. Simply picking up the backyard would make this house truly "dog-friendly." Otherwise, the fully fenced spacious yard and quiet neighborhood was perfect for us and our pups.

"We had a wonderful visit and stay in this home! We had no trouble getting in on arrival. There was a small hiccup with locking the property as we left day 1, but their service team helped us out very quickly. The only small thing about the home is they said they had a coffee maker, but didn't specify it was a keurig only. Other than that, the home and the backyard were phenomenal! Everything seemed brand new and redone in the home! Our whole family enjoyed our time there.

"We were in the area as part of our trip through the Smoky Mountains and Pisgah areas. Having teenage and college kids, I was looking for multiple bedroom spaces (no one on a couch!) and amenities like deck spaces and hot tubs. This property provided a great first floor and deck area and bedroom spaces though it is noted that there were a few things like a closet doorknob that wasn't attached, spare shelving not yet assembled, some rough patching in upstairs walls and some dirty towels left behind. These items didn't impact our stay over much though we did have a bigger item that I contacted guest services on. The hot tub water line was almost below the jets and there was quite a bit of dirt and debris as though it had not been tended in some time. We were told that a third party service comes out twice a week but they did not come out while we were there so we did not get to use the hot tub. A representative did call me to let me know he would what he could to reach the service and I appreciate the effort. Really bummed that we didn't get the hot tub time and hoping that the third party service makes it right for the next guest

"This was the perfect stay for me, my husband, and our 2 dogs. The house was super cozy and clean, the bedding was SO SOFT and the bed was very comfortable. The fenced backyard was amazing, our dogs loved being able to hang out outside with us without having to be tied. The hot tub was awesome after days of hiking, and the view was spectacular. The house is close to so many great hiking areas. We would happily stay here again if we returned to the area.

"Visiting Asheville for a friends wedding and this place was perfect. Only a short drive to downtown Asheville and there were a lot of cool spots in the surrounding area. We felt safe and the house was exactly as shown in photos. Clean, modern, up to date and incredibly comfortable beds.

"The location is great, quiet just outside of Asheville and easy access to Black Mountain also! The house was clean and easy to get around, with nice amenities (bring your own kettle though for hot water). Beds were comfy and clean, with nice, new pillows and soft big towels. Really one of my better stays as of late. My only notes are that it was a little tough since there is only seating for 4 at the dinner area, there is not much parking, and the path to the backyard are a bit tough (gravel covered rocks at the top), but I absolutely would stay there again next time I’m town!

"Absolutely loved our stay at NOLA house! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our 3 generation family visit. Everything felt new and clean. The back yard and view of the mountains was gorgeous! "I cannot say enough great things about this house. Very clean, great location, well equipped. Yonder was very quick to respond with questions and helpful. The fenced in back yard was perfect and secure for our dogs. Our family had a wonderful time with our pups at this house! The back deck area was also a beautiful place to spend time outdoors. "My wife and I along with our two dogs stayed at Nola house in early March... really enjoyed the place and scenery. The home was fully stocked with pretty much everything you would need besides food of course but overall well designed rental that included nice backyard deck area and plenty of room for the dogs to explore. Kind of a tricky modern thermostat but after contacting yonder we figured it out and steep yard but that comes with the territory in the mountains. Would definitely recommend to people looking for a chill spot to bring dogs and enjoy the Asheville area.

"We stayed at NOLA House and it was perfect for our getaway! The house was so clean, peaceful, and had all of the amenities we could need. "My family stayed in the Nola house, as we wanted to be within minutes from the Biltmore Estate. Everything was new and very clean. We also visited Chimney Rock park, visited Lake Lure and did a boat tour where most of the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. Before heading home that Sunday morning we awoke early and went to Pretty Place chapel South Carolina and watched an Amazing sunrise.. We enjoyed our mini getaway and I Highly recommend Yonder Vacation Rentals!
