"Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated several aspects of this property. The management company was very responsive, even on Christmas Day, which was greatly appreciated. The house was clean, well maintained, and accurately described, and we were thankful for the thoughtful extras provided, such as zip-top bags, aluminum foil, and other kitchen essentials.The coyotes howling behind the house at dawn and sunset were amazing.There were a few things that made our stay a bit more challenging. The exterior lighting at the corners of the house and at the bottom of the front steps was not working, which made walking our dog after dark almost impossible.Improved lighting in these areas would be very helpful for future guests.Additionally, the road leading up to the property is quite steep and winding, with multiple switchbacks. While this may be fine for many travelers, it would have been helpful to know in advance, as it was more stressful for us than anticipated. The driveway itself is also very steep, which may be something older guests or those with mobility concerns will want to consider.The home itself was comfortable and well cared for, and with a few improvements and clearer disclosure about the access and driveway, this could be an even better experience for future guests.

"The home was clean, cozy and comfortable. Because of rain and fog, we were unable to use the fire pit or see the fabulous view but on the way up and down the mountain, the waterfalls and deer were spectacular. We took a quick to the Asheville outlet and enjoyed great food. Even in the rain there is so much to do.

"Stayed a weekend at NATURE'S GETAWAY and the name is so appropriate. It is at the top of a mountain, beautiful home, with all the amenties needed to connect with nature. Clean, comfortable and relaxing geteway with a beautiful screened in porch to relax with your favorite glass of wine or cocktail. Comfortable bed and a short walk to some of the most breathtaking mountain views anywhere to be found in this part of North Carolina. I would highly recommend NATURE'S GETAWAY.
