After a day of exploration, unwind in the grand living room by the fireplace, surrounded by high ceilings, stunning architectural details, and breathtaking chandeliers. For a quieter retreat, the loft offers a cozy reading nook. The fully equipped kitchen with high-end finishes is perfect for preparing meals to enjoy on the patio, complete with a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars.

After a day of skiing, tubing, or hiking, you and your family can enjoy a restful night's sleep. The luxurious primary suite on the main level features a king-size bed, while the guest suite also includes a king-size bed on the main level. The main level also offers a bunk room with two twin-over-double bunks, ideal for kids or friends. The upper-level guest room provides two twin single beds, and there's also a Murphy Bed in the upper-level office/sitting room, making this home perfect for family vacations or trips with friends. Wifi is available throughout, making work or streaming easy if you can tear yourself away from the peaceful surroundings.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a very quiet community. Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: The owners of Modern Mountain Creekhouse will accept dogs on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Guest Experience Team at Yonder for approval. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"We enjoyed our stay at the property. The home was spotless. The furnishings were high-end and very comfortable. The towels and supplies were plentiful and of proper quality. The home itself was a work of art, and we admired its beauty daily. The location is very scenic and appears enchanted. During our stay, we observed wild turkeys and deer frolicking around. There is a beautiful creek that runs through the property. Tall green hills and forest surround the property and the neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is safe. Property management was exceptional - easy to reach and committed to delivering top-notch visitor experience. We recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future.

"Absolutely stunning property! We loved everything about it. From the gourmet kitchen to the beautiful architecture! As an interior designer, I appreciated all the furnishings and amenities. My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay! We used to live in Colorado and had herds of Elk in our back meadow, so we drove to the National Park nearby to see if we could find a herd of them grazing in NC! Success!! We loved all of the surrounding nature at this beautiful home! We hope to visit again in the near future!

"We stayed at Modern Mountain Creek House this weekend. This home is incredible. Set in a perfect landscape and filled with beautiful wildlife this home will not disappoint. The creek is mesmerizing and we spent the majority of our time outside. We picked up our groceries at the near by grocery store and cooked all of our meals at home. The fabulous and very high end kitchen was completely stocked with all the cooking pots, pans and utensils needed. The beds were luxurious! The linens were the perfect weight and the mattresses and pillows were hotel quality comfort. We ended with our last night by the fire pit listening to music. We will go back time and time again. You should too!

"This beautiful, serene property has everything! When you drive into the area you are surrounded by nature. There is a rolling stream, lush foliage and we even picked fresh blackberries. "This home is truly unique and in a setting that is so beautiful. Everything in the home was extremely well-appointed (including Hexclad cookware!), and it was very comfortable. "Beautiful architecture, furnishings and details. Kitchen is well appointed and furnishings are very comfortable. The home is immaculate. I could have looked at the ceiling for hours. I may have. The home has a creek right outside the patio that was relaxing to hear. We were greeted by wild turkeys during the day. The property was the perfect distance from the ski resort which is why we were there. It’s also not far from the cute neighboring downtown of Waynesville which had fun shopping and a good brewery. We’ve stayed in gorgeous homes in several countries and this is one of my favorites. I felt such peace here. It was like staying in a private spa. I wish we had had more time. Next time I’ll send the boys to ski and happily stay in. Thank you to the homeowners! Your home is a special place.

"The property offers a tranquil and serene stay with a twist. The twist is Wi-Fi, while I love to unplug as much as anyone it is important for me to have internet access. After I enjoy my morning coffee sitting outside listening to the creek and birdwatching I can then settle in to get my work completed for the day. The weather is just right in the meadow to be outside. The modern amenities and design make it a dream retreat for time well-spent at your home away from home.

"I can't say enough about our wonderful stay a the Modern Mountain Creekhouse. I call it my glass cathedral! Every room is art to me. We love the many windows the beautifully shaped wood. The views make you want to live there. Our family enjoyed cozying up on the large, gorgeous soft sofa and feeling like we were outside listening to the sounds of the creek flowing! Also the surrounding area offers plenty of fun things to do. Great food, shopping, hiking and a trip to the lake. Any season of the year would be stunning for any family to stay at the Creekhouse! I can only imagine this home being blanketed with white snow or sprinkled with autumn color. We look forward to staying at the Modern Mountain Creekhouse again. We know that any family that stays at the Creekhouse will love it as much as we do.

"My family and I loved our stay at this gorgeous creek house. We would find ourselves just sitting in the living room staring at the beautiful chandeliers!! Every room was like a work of art! We enjoyed walking to the peaceful creek in the backyard, sitting outside and breathing in the refreshing mountain air! They are so many things you can do and see only a short drive from the creek house, including the beautiful Lake Junaluska. I would highly recommend this place as a must if you are looking for mountains, elegance, and peace.

"Our family has stayed in the Lake Junaleska area two previous times, renting through Air BnB. Both visits pale in comparison to our stay this summer at the Modern Mountain Creekhouse. Why do people usually visit the Smoky Mountains? Because of the stunning scenery and natural landscape - at least that's why our family visits. And the Creekhouse embodies the beauty of the NC mountains in every way. Before we get to the stunning house itself: the creek that runs all along the property is magnificent. Our four children played in multiple times every single day of our visit. You can hear the creek rushing no matter what part of the house you are in, so it provides a soundtrack that is both physically and mentally soothing. The property is more than just the creek, though - we spent a good deal of time (and ate most of our meals) on the luxurious back porch and around the expansive firepit, enjoying the wildlife, the solitude, and the sweet mountain air. The interior of the home more than surpasses its description on the website - everything is of the highest quality and exceeded our admittedly fussy standards. From the gourmet kitchen to the laundry room, from the pristine bathrooms to the comfortable mattresses, to the show-stopping chandeliers and furniture in the living room - all of it made our Creekhouse stay a luxury experience. Our family of six (two adults and four children ages 17 to 9) loved every moment experiencing the natural wonder of the property, the meticulous beauty of the house, and the endless outlets for adventure and leisure in the Maggie Valley area. We will definitely be booking this property again!
