"We were in Asheville for a reunion of old friends. The property was everything advertised and more. Completely stocked and felt like a home away from home. Convenient to all the attractions. The view is amazing. The owner was helpful and very accommodating to our needs. My only caveat is the parking is a little tricky for multiple cars. We had three vehicles and managed fine but it was a little daunting for us all over the age of 60. I otherwise I highly recommend this property!

"We chose this location due to proximity to my son’s vacation rental for their wedding. The place was fine and clean enough, but very pricey for the quality of living. Also the first floor had an odor. We would recommend for bachelorette parties and large family gatherings. The park across the street hasn’t recovered from the horrible destruction from Hurricane Helene nor has the river arts district. A lot of stairs ( don’t recommend for elderly. Very difficult in and out onto Main Street as well. Overall would give higher recommendation if the quality of interior was more upscale and matched the price.

Wonderful Asheville Stay

"Stayed here over a November weekend for a family wedding. Easily accommodated three adult couples and three young-adult single siblings - all with their own bedrooms and bathrooms! Scrupulously clean; bed and bath linens were high quality. Living area furnishings were comfortable and adequate for the number of people staying there (something I've learned can be an issue with some rentals). Beautiful, well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor fire table on the covered balcony was a big hit and allowed for different conversation areas when we hosted the wedding family for dinner one night. Location was central to Asheville - if the weather had been better, we could have walked to the Arts District along the greenway. We were able to fit a Honda CR-V and a minivan in the driveway/parking area, but it can require moving one out to get to the other and the short driveway is steep (use your parking brake). Sometimes the second driver would just park at the end of the street, which is only a few houses away. Also note that the house is on three separate levels, so if someone in the group has difficulty with stairs that could be an issue. In all, this was a great rental stay and would definitely recommend!

"This was the perfect place for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! It provided the perfect balance of everything that Asheville has to offer - amazing proximity to both nature and downtown, which is exactly what we were looking for! Ubers were pretty easy to get (5-10 minute wait with a 5-15 minute ride to downtown or West Asheville). With the river path being right across the street, we enjoyed a beautiful, scenic walk to the River Arts District and utilized the many activities available along the river (kayaking, rafting, tubing, etc.). We had plenty of space for everyone to hangout, play games, and eat meals together in a super chill environment! Would certainly recommend to anyone - whether a celebration or vacation with family or friends!

"We had a couple families with 7 kids between the families. Plenty of room for all. Lots of different places to hang out within the home. Large table we all gathered around. The house has movies, music, games, all available for use at any time. We really enjoyed the place. The house is on a steep hill so be careful with little ones or roll around suitcases. It’s not a negative just something of note. Beautiful view of the river and the Biltmore estate. We loved it and would stay there again. The host was very accommodating has an excellent place.

"It is in a good location, however I would not consider it within walking distance to River Arts District - especially when it's cold. I am hopeful to go back in the Spring/Summer and think it would be a more desirable walk/bike ride to that part of town. The host was extremely accommodating and communicative. Phone calls and emails were always responded to and in a very timely manner (within minutes!). This is the first home we've ever rented that came with a plethora of supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms in addition to having plentiful (NICE) towels, linens, and blankets. The house was spacious, yet cozy. There are two balconies which was a nice surprise. The upper balcony has a beautiful view of the river and is decorated with lights and comes with a gas firepit! It was too cold for us to enjoy, however, I can only daydream about the bbq's you could have while watching the sunset with a glass of wine by the fire in the Spring. My family would definitely recommend this home and the host and hope to go back soon!

Magical Experience

"This really was "Mountain Magic" for us -- it's not easy to find a place that works for our extended family that includes our two children and their spouses plus three young and active children, but this place was perfect: four bedrooms, a spacious and fully-equipped kitchen, right across the street from great walking trails, even a port-a-crib for the baby. It was also spotlessly clean, our host was responsive to texts and willing to adjust the check-in and check-out time (see above: three young children - very helpful!) Highly recommended.

"This place was perfect for my sister's bachelorette party. There were 10 ladies all ~30 years old, and this place was perfect for us. It was absolutely beautiful, clean, bathrooms were large and beautiful, location was AMAZING, if you're interested in running the French River Trail is about 8 miles total out and back and its right out front of the house. Ubers were cheap to get downtown although we did have time finding cars a couple of times (mostly hard to find XL cars at weird times like 10am). For the most part, you could get an uber but sometimes had to wait 15-20 mins so plan ahead. The host was so so flexible with check in/out, answered all my questions, and the cleaner even dropped off her personal baking supplies for me to use because I inquired about a cake pan! They were great and the trip was amazing. Highly recommend!

"Not much more you could ask for if you're looking for a place for a big group in Asheville. Great location with a lot right around there. One day we all did the mile and a half walk to the river arts district and we were able to walk on the river Greenway the entire walk. Full kitchen, great views off the two porches, and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

"All the big spots in terms of eateries and breweries are short 10min Ubers. Like 9-13$ per. Hiking was like a 30min to hour drive. Frisbee golf close by. View from the front porch of the river and mountains was great. House was super fun, ping pong and the balcony fire pit were favorites. Great location for a big group!

Comfortable House

"We stayed here for a bachelorette trip. The house was perfect for our group. Everyone (12 girls) had a comfortable place to stay and the house had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the large upstairs balcony that overlooked the river. It was a bonus to have the river walking trail right across the street for morning walks. The price was excellent for the house. The only downfall was not being within walking distance to anything but it was only a 10 minute drive max to anywhere we wanted to go. The house is in a very quiet location which was nice.

"We stayed at this place for a bachelorette party and it was great for a group of 10. The location was a perfect proximity to downtown Asheville while still feeling a bit secluded. We appreciated all of the amenities at this place from the kitchen appliances to the steamer to the makeup remover wipes. "This house is in an amazing location! It’s right by the river and walking trail, but a quick drive into downtown Asheville or the River Arts district. We had 12 adults in our group stay comfortably for 3 nights. The master room on the top floor is wonderful, and the balcony upstairs was a great place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning. The check in and out process was a breeze, and the host was easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this stay for a large group or family!

Wonderful Asheville Stay

"Stayed here over a November weekend for a family wedding. Easily accommodated three adult couples and three young-adult single siblings - all with their own bedrooms and bathrooms! Scrupulously clean; bed and bath linens were high quality. Living area furnishings were comfortable and adequate for the number of people staying there (something I've learned can be an issue with some rentals). Beautiful, well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor fire table on the covered balcony was a big hit and allowed for different conversation areas when we hosted the wedding family for dinner one night. Location was central to Asheville - if the weather had been better, we could have walked to the Arts District along the greenway. We were able to fit a Honda CR-V and a minivan in the driveway/parking area, but it can require moving one out to get to the other and the short driveway is steep (use your parking brake). Sometimes the second driver would just park at the end of the street, which is only a few houses away. Also note that the house is on three separate levels, so if someone in the group has difficulty with stairs that could be an issue. In all, this was a great rental stay and would definitely recommend!

"Our family of 10 planned a Christmas in “the mountains” this year and we were not disappointed. The location was close to everything we wanted to do: tour the Biltmore House, going to the movies on Christmas Day, outlet mall shopping, touring the African American Heritage Trail, and just spending time together having a Ball. The house was well equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to be comfortable. I would love to return in the summer when we could take advantage of other activities.

"Our family stayed here to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday. Great location, convenient to downtown, Biltmore and River Arts district. Great view of French Broad river. Well laid out and appointed with plenty of room to accommodate 10 comfortably. The adults and kids enjoyed the fun features of a ping pong and foosball table and a record player with a variety of albums to play. It was a perfect place for our family to hangout and visit! Clean, spacious & comfy in West Asheville

"We loved discovering Asheville in Magic Mountain. The host was very responsive and accommodating from planning to check-in and even when I struggled with the door lock system twice. It works fine fyi, I just needed a bit more instruction. Right out the door is Amboy park which connects quickly to Carrier Park with a great running trail. You can easily access all of Asheville from this location too. The only thing visitors should be aware of is that we really felt there was room for just 1 car. The street is still under a little construction (by the nicest guys) and the driveway is short and slanted . You’ll enjoy the home. After 3 weeks on the road at various homes & a nice hotel it was finally the best night’s sleep we had.

"Amazing house for visiting all of Asheville!! The house is within crawling distance of the River Arts District, where you could spend all of your time if there wasn't also downtown and West Asheville to explore! There was plenty of space to spread out at the house and great balconies to enjoy the weather and the view of the French Broad River. We loved getting up to walk or run in the park as well. My only gripes are minimal. The ice maker quit after the first few hours, so we had to buy ice, but I doubt many would withstand 7 people. The gas fireplace on the big balcony was hard to start. We got it the first night and could not get it started the following night. The houses are VERY close together. (most seemed to be rentals) so if you have loud neighbors you will hear them (and see them if they don't draw the shades) The kitchen could have had a few more staples. There was salt but no pepper. Oh the whole one of the best houses I have rented in the area. The host was very helpful and great at communication. We would love to come back!!

"This home is very conveniently located on the French Broad River greenway which was perfect for morning walks & even getting into the River Arts district with shops/winery. The multiple levels of the house was great for a large group to separate & find space. We enjoyed the third floor firepit in the evenings overlooking the river & the pingpong/games on the first floor! The bathrooms were very spacious with good water pressure. The main living area was also large enough to seat our entire party!

"First rate accommodations at this property! Nicely furnished w fully equipped kitchen & baths. Lower level even had ping pong table & foosball. The brick flooring on the upper deck area featured gas fire table as well as table and 6 cushioned chairs. Great view of the river and Biltmore grounds from many areas of this property. Property owner was incredibly responsive and more than generous. We had requested a late checkout, and as the place wasn’t going to be occupied later that day, were told we could stay until early afternoon! I would book this place again in a heartbeat!! Helpful info... Try 12 Bones barbecue while staying here - delicious and only 4 minutes away.(Part of the must see River Arts District) Access to the downtown areas was also quite fast and easy.

"You cannot beat the location of this property. The interior was lovely and the cleanliness was superb. The host was very nice to communicate with. Only tough part is the parking spacing if you have a larger party, otherwise there are no complaints.

30th Birthday Celebration!

"We stayed at this property in July to celebrate our son's 30th birthday. The property was perfect for our group. The host was helpful and allowed us early entry to the property, and was very communicative via text. My son is a musician so he truly appreciated the guitars that were available. The French broad River is directly out front, which was great for tubing. We walk to the river arts district, for lunch at 12 Bones BBQ and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

"Our bachelor party group has only good things to say about this house. Plenty of room for our group of 13, really nice and quality couches/beds/bathrooms, etc. Location is solid and we enjoyed both of the decks. I would add that the river right across the street is very easily accessible by stairs that are really close too. Only real downfall is the difficulty at times with Uber availability, but that’s more of a general area complaint.

"Super spacious, modern house with all the amenities you could possibly need. This is one of those hard-to-find places where you really only need to bring the bare minimum with you because the house is so well stocked with essentials! The porches are private with great views of the river and mountains. The river greenway is easily accessible from the property and you can get downtown in 5 minutes. Far enough out of the city for quiet, but still convenient. If I make it back to Asheville again with a large group, I will stay here again!

"Really great, brand new house overlooking the French Broad River and a park. We have an annual trip we take to Asheville with about 8 guys and this house is perfect and one of the better homes we have rented. Plenty of sleeping room, multiple balconies, great bathrooms and plenty of space to stretch out. Great and attentive host and we would definitely recommend a stay here if you have 6-8 folks.

"Sparkling clean. Luxe linens and towels. High end appliances. We didn’t cook but when we come back, I will since the kitchen is well appointed. Thoughtful touches like coffee and fixings, fresh flowers and fruit. Bathroom necessities and some. Music, book and art lovers. The fire pit is sweet. Golf clubs if you need them. Ping pong. Very comfortable. Host communicates well.

"For our group of 8, this property was perfect. The host was accommodating, very helpful, and easy to reach whenever we needed them. The house was in a great location - off the beaten path but a very short ride to downtown Asheville. As gorgeous as the house was, the one thing that will bring us back is how great of a host they were to us. Fantastic Stay

"Stayed at Magic Mountain with a group of 14 people. We had a fantastic time, in large part due to how great this place is. The place was incredibly clean, slept 14 comfortably, had great views of the mountains from all three levels, and was located near the river where we had a quick swim. The bathrooms were all very clean with plenty of towels and other amenities. There’s a ping pong table and other things in the garage plus some board games. It was a great home away from home and we enjoyed being there when we were not hiking or in the town exploring. Would highly recommend.

"Great space for several couples. We enjoyed the fire pit and games in the house. Each room has a full bathroom which was very convenient and provides privacy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of extra linens and blankets in closets if needed. Overall clean and cozy. The host was easily reachable and let us check in early. Location was a quick drive from downtown. Parking was a bit tricky with several cars but we managed. We fit one SUV and a compact car in the driveway and the others parked on the street (narrow). Would definitely stay again!
