Special Update – Lake Lure Reopening
Exciting news for Lake Lure guests: Lake Lure is officially open following Hurricane Helene, and normal lake use has resumed! Previous lakewide no-wake restrictions have been lifted, so guests can once again enjoy boating and time on the water while continuing to follow all posted no-wake zones, boating guidelines, and local lake rules.

Chimney Rock businesses are also open and ready to welcome visitors back. This is a wonderful time to return to the area, enjoy the lake, explore Chimney Rock, and support the local businesses and communities that make this region so special. Please note that public docks remain closed at this time. Guests who would like to get out on the water can rent boats through Yonder, with delivery available for lakefront homes or pickup available at the southernmost point of the lake.

Welcome to Lure Me—your private lakefront getaway on Lake Lure featuring a beautiful main home plus a separate small cabin with two additional bedrooms for extra space and privacy. Spend your days on the water—dock fishing, paddling in the canoes, or upgrading with a pontoon rental—then come home for sunset dinners on the deck and s’mores by the wood-burning fire pit near the shoreline.

- Separate log cabin: 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms (great for added privacy)

Layout designed for “together time” plus breathing room—perfect for groups traveling together
Sleeping option: pullout sofa available in the main home’s living room for extra flexibility.

Pontoon Rental Option
*No outside boat rentals are permitted on or attached to the property or the docks*
Owner makes available as rental a 20’ SunTracker Party Barge DLX Pontoon Boat exclusively for guests of Lure Me. Boat equipped with a new 60HP Mercury Outboard motor, multi-speaker Bluetooth stereo sound, Bimini cover. Seats 10 comfortably.

The pontoon boat rental is arranged and paid for separately, directly with the homeowner.
Boat rental rates are as follows:

For stays of 4 nights or longer, the minimum boat rental is 3 days at $1,350.
For a 4 day boat rental up to a full-week rental is $1,800, which is often the best value since a 4-day rental is the same cost as the weekly rate.
For stays of fewer than 4 nights, the minimum boat rental is 2 days at $900.
Please note that the boat is not available for hourly or single-day rentals.

Practical Details

Parking: space for 4 vehicles in the designated parking area, plus 2 additional vehicles on the gravel drive leading to the home.
Fireplace is available in the cooler months only - Labor Day to Easter
Coffee setup includes two coffee makers in the main house, including one Keurig, plus an additional coffee maker in the cabin.
The Lake Lure permit for rental boats prohibits any towing (skiing, tubing, etc...)
Linens & towels provided (one set per guest)
Easy self check-in for a smooth arrival
Minimum booking age: the reserving guest must be 25+

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Quiet Policy This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren’t permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Extended Stays Reservations of 30 days or more are subject to review; stays exceeding 90 days require an additional agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:

* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name

Like a Resort

"The property was like a resort. It was beautiful, peaceful and also immediately felt like home. The inside appears to be recently renovated. It is well appointed and comfortable. Our family enjoyed all the outdoor seating areas, the solar lights and view! We loved hanging out down at the lake, using the kayak and paddle board and swimming. We paid extra to rent the pontoon boat and were so glad to we did. It was a lot of fun to ride around and drive to golf and dinner! We will definitely be returning.

"An absolute gem!! Stunning views - tucked away in a cove for a Great Lake experience for families. The house had everything is very well maintained! Lots of options for paddle board to kayak to floatation devices. The separate housing options were great for large families or families traveling together. Our first trip to Lake Lure and it was winner!!! Great communication - easy process - neighbors were extremely nice as well - highly recommend!!

"We had an amazing stay at this lake house! The property is stunning, with breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from multiple areas around the home. One of our favorite features was the incredible amount of deck space—there were so many different spots to relax, enjoy a morning coffee, take in the scenery, or unwind in the evening. The lake itself was beautiful and perfect for swimming, and we loved spending time on the floating dock soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was such a great place to relax and fully enjoy everything the property has to offer. The house itself is beautifully designed, thoughtfully decorated, and feels both luxurious and welcoming. Every detail seemed carefully considered. The setting was peaceful, private, and the perfect place to make memories with family. Can’t wait to go back!

"What a lovely property on the lake! The home is expertly updated, well-appointed and super clean. We loved the two buildings -- one modern and one rustic. We spent most of our time out on the front decks in rocking chairs enjoying the impressive vista! So excited for Lake Lure to be open again - thank you for sharing this special spot with us.
