The home affords year round access to any and all vehicles, via ONLY paved and easily navigated roads.

Close to everything in both Asheville & Black Mountain, with all the areas fine dining, craft breweries, outdoor attractions and shopping just minutes away.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker and a dishwasher, and affords plenty of room to gather, cook, and spend quality time preparing meals with friends, for those who want to 'stay in and relax'. The kitchen opens up to an open concept Great room, affording a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is together, and hanging out after a long day exploring all that WNC has to offer. There is a big-screen TV & wi-fi for your laptops.

The home is close to skiing, golf, tennis, and hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, or in any of the local state parks; Pisgah National Forest, Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell, the Cherokee Reservation, and much more, including the Biltmore Estate.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very private, quiet and exclusive farm/estate locale. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

PETS: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.

"We were a party of 3 adults all over 70 years old. The home was well appointed. Very nicely decorated. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of seating inside and out. Bath towels large and fluffy. Sheets soft and cozy. All the soaps that were provided were fragrance free and eco-friendly. The exterior was nicely landscaped. It was one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed at.

"This home was exactly what my family and I were looking for! It was my husband and I and our three kids ages 16, 13 & 10. Can’t say enough positive things about our experience! Neat, organized, clean. Ample blankets and pillows for all. Starter supplies for the essentials you’d need in case you don’t have time to stop at the store before checkin. Smart tv’s in every room, which is necessary these days! My only suggestion would be to add some larger stock pots, pans, strainer and serving platters for preparing and serving family meals. Like some other reviews mentioned, there is some light road noise because of where the home is situated next to the road. It was not super noticeable during the day and it would not stop me from staying again in the future. However, if you are a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing your white noise machines to help dampen the road noise during the night. We will definitely rent this home again when visiting Asheville in the future!

"Our stay at Long Grass View was nothing short of exceptional. The property is beautifully maintained, offering a clean and spacious environment that exceeded our expectations for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped with all new items. The comfortable beds ensured restful nights, and the cozy living area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The outdoor amenities include a fire pit area, a great spot to unwind and enjoy sunsets. The location is ideal—just a short drive from downtown Asheville, allowing us to explore the city’s attractions with ease. "Loved our getaway. Property was clean and just what we needed. Ate in, went out. Even saw momma bear and her cub feasting in neighbor's garbage. Suggestion: There are no ice trays and made making getting ice a challenge. They are cheap at a dollar store. Why not provide a couple? Also a lamp is needed in the living room. The overhead lights are too much, but need something. Maybe a floor lamp in front corner. We enjoyed and would consider rebooking. Thanks!

"The house was amazing, as were the amenities. It is evident that the hosts were thinking family friendly for this place. We had two toddlers and were amazed that they provided kids eating ware in addition to games/fire pit for the adults. It was very clean and we loved the location. I highly recommend this property to anyone in the Asheville area!

"I stayed with my two teenage boys and my husband at Long Grass View for 4 nights in March. The property is just like the photos, this home has a comfortable space for a family of 4 even 6. The house is well supplied with all new kitchen items. Very clean and the beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows The property is about 8 minutes from the main highway and about 15 from downtown Asheville. We ordered dinner take out one night from Pomodoro Italian Restaurant and the food was delicious. The only down fall is that from the main bedroom you can hear the cars passing at night if you are a light sleeper but this should not hold you back from staying at this beautiful new home.

"We stayed for five days while visiting Asheville. The location was great for us with a rental car, as we were able to get around easily without being too far away. The house still has it's new house smell and was the cleanest property we've ever rented! Beds were comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed. The house is off a 35mph road, so there is some traffic sounds if you're sitting outside, but nothing obnoxious. We were super pleased with this house and definitely recommend it.

"Long grass view was fabulous! The home Appeared to be new. Top end appliances, comfortable beds and bedding, nicely furnished, and more than adequately appointed! Everything you need for a family retreat was provided. We didn't get time to fully utilize the outdoor amenities which had a deck, table and chairs, gas grill, and fire pit, (firewood provided)! Thanks to the host for providing snacks, coffee and paper products as we checked in late and didn't get a chance to shop!

"Came to visit Asheville with my parents and son for 2 nights and this vrbo didn't disappoint! Very clean and super cute place! I slept downstairs with my son and my parents slept upstairs and did mention some road noise in their room but I didn't hear anything on the second level. That's the only complaint we had, the bedroom that leads to the patio does make some noise when trying to open but that's an easy fix! Overall highly recommend staying here! Thank you!

"I visited Asheville with my college girlfriends for a long weekend and we so enjoyed this property. It was impeccable when we arrived, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is far enough out of town to enjoy the mountains but within driving distance to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. Highly recommend!

"Exceptional, in most ways: My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to Ohio from a South Carolina vacation. The property was very well appointed and had everything we could need. The design was pretty, serene, and carefully/cleverly done...it fit a lot of function into a fairly small footprint and even small details were thoughtful. It was a nice surprise to see full-sized Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products and a pretty fig candle...like we were staying in a friend's place. The bed, too, was wonderful. I don't know what brand the mattress was but it was great. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this was the first time it felt like all of the 'appointments' were so shiny new, we wondered if we were the first to use them. (Maybe we were!) I'm picky about cleanliness and we like to stay in nice places and the property fit the bill in both regards. I would recommend it and would stay in it again. Given the quality, we intend to look for other properties managed by the same company as well. Also, Asheville is a wonderful city and the geography there is lovely. For full information: Since it's not clear from the photos, be aware that the house sits on a moderately busy street with a smallish front yard. While there are no businesses around and the road has a rural feel, there is some traffic noise. More importantly--at least for now, in mid-May--some construction work is underway on nearby properties. On the back deck and in the evening when it is quieter, it is serene.

"This property provided the perfect getaway for our family of 5. There was a lot of thought put into the design and layout of this home to ensure a pleasant stay. The kitchen was equipped with all of the essentials, the beds were extremely comfortable, and even the chairs outside on the deck had a foot rest. Even though, I was on vacation; I did take time in the evening to check my message using the USB outlets in the kitchen. Highly recommend this location if you’re visiting Asheville. Downtown Asheville and Biltmore are a close drive, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle.
