"The cottage is exactly as described--comfortable, charming, and welcoming. It feels more like a home than a rental property, and the hosts have thought of everything. The porches are especially inviting, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly and close to everything!

"Flatrock and surrounding area is the best place in the NC Mtns we have found for a getaway. The location is secluded yet convenient to everything as far as shops restaurants and recreational sites. The cottage was clean , cozy and well kept. We loved the layout, big porch and beautiful view of the lake. This is a great spot for rest , relaxation and beauty

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Lake Cove Cottage, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the cabin was. It immediately felt like a home away from home, soooo comfortable!! The comfort of the cottage made our stay exceptional. The cozy furnishings and lovely decor created a warm atmosphere that our family appreciated, allowing us to relax and unwind together. We spent our days enjoying the beautiful surroundings and our evenings gathered around the fireplace and on the porch. Our family enjoyed every moment spent at Lake Cove, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! Although we're sad to leave, we’re already looking forward to returning each year! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

"Lake Cove Cottage in Flat Rock, NC was an excellent place to stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a peaceful setting near Highland Lake that made it feel relaxing and private. The porches and outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable for a peaceful cup of morning coffee and evening downtime. The location was convenient—close to Flat Rock, Hendersonville, and local attractions—while still offering a quiet retreat. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the property matched the listing description well. "Five star + rating for Lake Cove Cottage. I have stayed there many times over all seasons over the last four years. Lake Cove Cottage is a boutique quality, up-styled l.o.v.e.l.y. cottage with lots of natural light and attention + care to all detail. There are three porches to this beauty offering screened and unscreened with views of the bucolic Highland Lake and the same-named community. Very private. Furnishings were chosen with lots of comfort as well as design in mind. This is the place to chose when you want to feel cared for. You are only a short (2-4 block) garden lined and tree canopied stroll away from Seasons Restaurant, Treska's Cafe, Wild Lotus Yoga Studio and the beloved goat barn and fenced field where 12 goats (The Hamlet Herd) are lovingly cared for by the community. The Park at Flat Rock Park is less than 1 mile away and can also be walked to - 66 acres of preserved wetland and walking trails. The Flat Rock Bakery and Carl Sandburg National Park are also just minutes away. Flat Rock is the best of all locations for convenience to many darling mountain towns and National Parks.
