We want to be upfront about the status of Lake Lure. Hurricane Helene left an unprecedented amount of debris, and while cleanup efforts are underway with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the lake will likely remain closed for the 2025 summer season.But while the water may be off-limits, the magic of Lake Lure is still here—breathtaking views, charming restaurants, local vineyards, scenic trails, Rumbling Bald golf courses, and the Tryon Equestrian Center just 25 minutes away. Your time in Western North Carolina will still be unforgettable, filled with new memories while supporting this resilient community. We are truly grateful for your visit and look forward to welcoming you!

If you are looking for a place to experience lake life at it’s best, look no further! Lake Al’lure is the perfect lake house with amazing views of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock! Located on the main channel and just 10 minutes to restaurants, groceries, Lake Lure Beach, and the village of Chimney Rock, you will never want to leave.

Get ready to be entranced as you enter, with the cathedral ceilings in the great room and tons of windows so that you can enjoy the mountain lake view from everywhere. There is plenty of space to gather, whether you’re curled up on the sofa or cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, you will be creating memories that will last a lifetime. Enjoy the view and a meal together in the dining area that is conveniently just steps away from the kitchen. The lower-level family room features a stacked stone wall with a wood stove and comfortable furnishings. The 4 guest rooms will provide space and privacy for up to 10-12 guests.

While the inside is equipped with modern amenities including smart tv’s, cable, wifi, you’ll have a tough time pulling yourself away from the abundance of outdoor spaces, including 2 large deck spaces to gather. The upper & lower decks are built around a mature oak that provides shade from summer sun yet allows open views year-round.

Take a walk down to the boathouse, where there is direct access into the lake and you will spend hours enjoying the views from spacious sunning deck. Step inside where you will have access to kayak’s and paddles boards. One of the most unique details of this lake house is the additional full bath right in the boathouse, as well as an extra refrigerator and game room with a ping pong table!

We’re pretty sure you’ll never want to leave and Lake Al’Lure will have you coming back year after year connecting and creating memories! Truly Lake life at its best!

Yonder openly shares our Cleaning Fees in a manner of full disclosure, as we think this is the most honest and forthright approach with respect to our guests. Our Cleaning Fees are backed by our Clean Guarantee, which reflects the highest level of standards, pristine environments for our guests, and a level of clean that surpasses any other vacation homes; we literally guarantee it!

Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain lake retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. Please inquire with our Guest Experience Team for details and final rates.

"My oldest son and his daughter were visiting from California, and we decided to take a long weekend at Lake Lure with them. Having discovered this listing, we feel we should have stayed longer. What a lovely home! And so many amenities lakeside! The entire property is a dream, the stairs down to the dock make you feel like you are in your own world, there's greenery everywhere, and there is a lot of privacy from the neighbors. Gorgeous views from all the terraces, and several common areas where the kids can be loud and away from adults wishing more quiet intimate conversations. Will definitely visit again.

"We rent houses and cabins in NC several times a year. Yonder is a great company to do business with. Very responsive during the entire booking process, during our stay when needed, and the check out process is easier than any other property management company. The houses are very clean and the starter supplies are sufficient and top quality. The house Lake Al’Lure is spectacular, right on the lake, and works perfectly for our family.

"We couldn't have asked for better lake access. The boat house was so convenient. Used the kayaks and paddle boards every day. House very well equipped- beach towels, kitchen items, dog beds, bug repellent etc. We appreciate the thought that went into everything. Even a great spice selection. We only have a few suggestions - The downstairs shower had very little pressure, and kitchen needs a hand whisk. We had a great week!!! so much fun

"This home was immaculate, and beautiful, and included everything needed to have a fabulous vacation. We had a range of ages from 18-80 and every single family member loved it and had plenty to do. The boat house was stocked with a variety of water activities and plenty of chairs. Our family enjoyed long kayak adventures, paddle boarding, and relaxing with board games. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook on the grill outside while relaxing on the various patios. This was by far the nicest home we have ever rented and plan to book it again in the future.
