Remote and restful

"Pros: If you're looking for peace and quiet, this house fits the bill. It's in a rather remote area...12 minutes from tiny/cute Hot Springs, 20 minutes from Marshall (closest supermarket), and 45+ minutes to Asheville. It's super quiet and while it's in a gated community, there are very few houses and you can't see any of them from inside. The master bed is very comfy and the kitchen is well supplied. We enjoyed the deck upstairs which has a small table and a covered lounge area. You look out over beautiful tall trees, and in the winter, I'm sure you could see the mountains behind them. Cons: the master bathroom is quirky and the 2 bedrooms on the lower level are small and have little character. Definitely do NOT pull into the garage unless you have a very small car as it's very difficult to get out.

"The house is beautiful in a quiet mountain neighborhood. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and it worked out very well. We relaxed by the river the day after the wedding which was a great way to end a busy weekend. The house had everything we needed!

"It was a beautiful home, equipped with everything we needed. The design of the house, the architecture, and furniture were all done beautifully. The home spotless and stocked with anything you could possibly need. The family room/dining room/kitchen and master bedroom suite are to die for and the large windows show the beautiful mountain views outside.

Gorgeous House

"Main bedroom had wonderful windows to watch the sunrise. Kitchen fully stocked with 2 very nice coffee espresso/coffee makers (and a kettle for us tea drinkers). Top notch Wi-Fi made working from the house a piece of cake. High quality linens made the stay a delight. No issue with water or electricity at the house. Roads to house (and in the area) were completely clear (being repaired in some spots). There was a fully stocked high-end Ingles (grocery store) 20 minutes away in Marshall. Stores in Asheville and the surrounding area were open for (and in need of business). We will definitely return and spend a lot more time there.

"This is a lovely home and was perfect for our weekend fly fishing trip. Home was clean with plenty of room for all of us to gather. Directions were perfect and easy to follow. Highly recommend Asheville Fly Fishing Company for fly fishing. Very instructional and nice guides.

"We had the best Christmas ever in this holiday hide-away! Family came in from different locations and it was one of the most relaxing holidays. The house is so cozy and has everything you need. The setup is conducive to cooking together, games, puzzles, diamond art, and walks for some fresh air. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We certainly plan to go back!

Cozy weekend in the trees

"We loved our stay here! The living room is such a great place to hang out, with the high vaulted ceilings and large windows. We also spent a lot of time on the nice porch. We enjoyed exploring the nearby town and a short walk on the local hiking trail. Highly recommend!
