"We had a wonderful stay! Best Airbnb we have ever rented. All of the extras were very appreciated. It’s so lovely to have spices, plenty of paper products, and a well stocked kitchen. Very clean and felt brand new. The kids loved the fire pit, hot tub and games. We enjoyed the stream and fishing ponds near by. Thank you so much for the personal instructions on how to access Crabtree falls-we were the only ones there, as the public road is currently closed. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We highly recommend!

Gorgeous Cabin

"We had a great weekend stay at this gorgeous pet friendly cabin tucked into the woods of the neighborhood. It offered privacy away from other houses along with the sounds of the creek below and fishing ponds just a short walk down the road. The fisherman in our family enjoyed having those nearby! The cabin was well stocked and equipped with everything needed for our stay. They thought of everything! They also have a very thorough welcome binder with helpful information to guide your stay.The cabin also has a large covered deck to watch the sunrise while drinking your coffee. It was a nice spot to sit and wake up in the morning while enjoying the sounds of nature. The deck is completely enclosed so it was a great place for the dogs to hang outdoors too. The two teens in the family had fun playing ping pong and foosball downstairs and getting in the hot tub. The cabin also has an inviting fire pit area with hanging lights although we did not use it due to weather. Our family would definitely stay at this cabin again and would recommend it to others!

"We were there as Baptists on Missions to help with disaster relief efforts. The home was perfect in every way with a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great area to relax. It was further out than we anticipated but we loved the area. We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pit due to the weather.

"The home was perfect for us. We had our 4 grand kids and they enjoyed the ping pong and foosball tables. The hot tub was very clean. You have to take the hike to crabtree falls. Its a little over 1/2 mile one way. The thought put in the extra amenities for our dogs was well above the normal (pet friendly) home. The kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely book again.

Great time!

"We had a great time at the Hemlock Creek Cabin! The sound of the creek in the distance made sitting on the deck a real pleasure. The view was not spectacular but there were some really neat places that we were able to hike to nearby including 3 ponds. Unfortunately we were not able to catch any fish in either the ponds or the creek but we had fun nonetheless. We made trips to Linville Caverns and Linville Falls (45 mins away) as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center to white water raft on the French Broad River (1 hour away). We also made a trip to Roaring Fork Falls (20 mins away). Unfortunately Mt. Mitchell and Crabtree Falls were not accessible due to Hurricane Helene. We tried to access Crabtree Falls via the Rainbow Trout neighborhood access but could not locate a blazed trail. The trip up and down the mountain was always an adventure. Luckily we brought a 4WD Jeep Wrangler which made it possible to go anywhere. We had a great time and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. Note: Recommendation: move the grill from the front porch to the back deck. It’s the perfect place to grill. The sound of the creek was our favorite. And with the table on the deck, it’s the perfect place to enjoy dinner after a day of hiking and adventures in the mountains.

GORGEOUS

"This cabin was everything we hoped for! The cabin was clean, spacious, GORGEOUS, scenic and convenient for our family of 6. They had board games and books, the game room, hot tub, dishes, tv and Wi-Fi (which is needed since cell service is not available). There was a bathroom for each bedroom and a baby gate for the stairs. It was conveniently located near emerald village gem mining which is primarily what we were coming to do. Our little guy wanted to go mining for his 6th birthday and it was so fun! Also we were close to the Switzerland cafe, books and beans and the Switzerland Inn where we had good food, scenic views and ice cream. It also gave us access to the Crabtree Falls hike which was absolutely stunning! We did that hike twice! And because the main trail was damaged in hurricane Helene, we had it to ourselves both days! We also made time to visit Linville Caverns. Great area!I would love to come back some day and if I do I would stay in this cabin again for sure!

"This cabin is TOP TIER. Beautifully built, meticulous, full of everything you could possibly need (utensils, plates, pots, pans, coffee bar, etc.) Our guests were extremely happy, and we were delighted that they had such an amazing experience visiting us.We will definitely stay here again!

"We had a wonderful stay at Hemlock Creek Cabin for our family’s Thanksgiving. It was nestled in the woods, very clean, cozy and decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable! The game room, hot tub and outdoor fire-pit were a lot of fun! We really enjoyed our stay!! I will say it was 30-40 minutes to get to groceries, so plan well.

"My stay at Hemlock Creek Cabin pretty much saved my life. After months and months of ceaseless stress, work, and all the craziness of life, a four day stay at the cabin afforded my wife and I the ability to finally slow down, cool out, read a couple books, watch a few films, relax in the hot tub and the amazing huge tub in the main bedroom, sit on the porch and listen to the babbling brook below... it's just heaven up there. If you're looking for a brand new, spotless, tastefully designed, but also cozy and comforting cabin that's far off the beaten path, this is the place for you (and your family and/or friends). The attached photos were taken during with my little quadcopter right after a light dusting of snow on our peaceful stay.

"My husband and I stayed at Hemlock Creek Cabin for a relaxing, peaceful long weekend shortly after New Year's Day. I cannot say enough good things about it! The cabin was very clean and welcoming with lots of fun design touches. The string lights and heater by the hot tub made an already stellar soaking experience even better--those jets worked parts of my calves and feet that were in dire need of attention. It snowed twice during our stay and I sipped on hot chocolate while watching the flakes fall outdoors, what a dream! We drove to downtown Burnsville once to grab coffees (only a 15-20 minute trek) but otherwise relished the calm, quiet, and comfort of this little sanctuary in the woods. I highly recommend staying at Hemlock Creek Cabin--it's versatile enough to accommodate a family, a group of friends, or just a couple in need of an escape from the noise and congestion of the city.

Clean and Comfortable

"I loved staying at Hemlock Creek Cabin! The cabin itself is in a very quiet area with well-kept land and a creek that you can hear from the deck. Easy access to hiking and a waterfall and even just walking along the creek in the neighborhood is peaceful and private. You can't see any other houses while you are at the cabin. The cabin is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for friends and family to hang together or to have privacy. Kids loved staying in the loft with the little magic branch lights. The hot tub and the bathtub were huge and relaxing. It is near Penland School of Crafts and restaurants, coffee, and groceries are convenient. I had never eaten at the Switzerland Inn restaurant and seen the view, and it is wonderful. There is a cool coffee shop with a bookstore that is a real novelty. We can't wait to stay here again!

Beautiful and Cozy

"Hemlock Creek Cabin was such a beautiful and cozy cabin. We rented this for 8 people and it was perfect. With the windows open we could hear the creek the whole night. There is so much to do within the area and only a short trip to Asheville. There is a private hiking trail entrance that took us to Crabtree Falls and it was magical. All of our kids (19, 12, 10) enjoyed the vacation. Emerald Gem Mines are super close and always fun! Plenty of games and crafts provided us with enough to occupy everyone during the down time. It is so peaceful and private. Little Switzerland has the best book and coffee shop and the general store next door has a lot of neat knick knacks and the cafe connected to it has some really good BBQ. Already booked out next visit!
