The fully equipped kitchen, with high end finishes and cookware (All-Clad, LeCreuset, Henckels, Staub) invites culinary adventures, while the spacious living room offers ample seating for relaxation, complete with a streaming TV for entertainment. You'll feel the authentic mid-century design elements as soon as you enter, with many rehabilitated vintage pieces throughout. This property features three extremely stylish bedrooms, each with a desk, thoughtfully decorated with relaxation in mind, ensuring a restful stay. The enormous primary suite includes a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and dressing room with a reading nook a desk/make-up vanity, and full private bathroom.

The massive screened-in sunroom with large sliding glass doors and windows, is a charming extension of the living space, featuring a large dining table and additional seating, along with an electric fireplace and yet another streaming TV, creating a versatile and cozy atmosphere. Outside, evenings come alive around the stylish fire table, creating the perfect space to unwind beneath the evening sky. We welcome you to bring your four legged family members, with a completely secured fenced yard, and doggie doors, they'll feel right at home. Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"This was a home away from home, our fur babies LOVED being able to run around in the back yard, so happy and free, this made the whole vacation worth it!!! "This was the best vacation rental we ever stayed in. The furniture was so comfortable, it almost felt like home. Comfy couch with the softest throw blankets (I want one!), great bed and pillows…The devil is in the details. And Yonder got the details right! A brand new sponge at the kitchen sink, for example, made my heart sing. We loved our stay and will be back.

"Great home, not too far from downtown Asheville. Only negative thing to say is that all of the towels smelled very weird — seemed like they were brand new but unwashed. We do sincerely apologize for any issue with the towels; we believe your guess was correct that they still had a "brand new, fresh out the box" smell to them, but we are confident that this will dissipate after 1 or 2 wash/dry cycles :) We would love to host you again, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!!

The perfect place to escape

"We had an amazing time. The property is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by trees and beautiful views. It was the perfect place to relax and escape everyday life. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The new kitchen was a huge plus, as we love to cook. The screened-in room was our favorite place to relax, and in the evenings the fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows. The property is close to many hiking trails. We also loved exploring the nearby towns and villages, especially Black Mountain -- which is full of charming shops and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful time. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

"My husband and I had a wonderful time in Grovemont. This home is meticulously finished in mid-century style, with comfortable retro furniture, beautiful hardwood floors, and newly renovated kitchen and baths. The kitchen is very well-equipped for serious cooking, and there are multiple dining areas. We especially loved the large inviting 3-season room and the great views from the front porch. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is still close to all the amenities we needed. We would highly recommend the retro retreat to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay near Asheville or Black Mountain.

"This is a great place to stay for a trip to Ashville! In a beautiful and quiet location but also only a short drive from town so it’s great for enjoying the outdoors and Ashville’s great food and drink scene. We had a great time visiting the nearby breweries. The house itself is super comfortable with everything we needed for a trip away – it really felt like a home-away-from-home.
