Grand Slam offers convenient access to Downtown Asheville. Because of its central location, guests should expect some street noise, traffic, pedestrians, and occasional nearby construction.
Please note: A large renovation project is scheduled at McCormick Field, home of the Asheville Tourists, from September 2024 through Spring 2026. Construction noise may be present during this time and is outside of Yonder’s control.

"Check in/out was a breeze. This place was perfect for our group of 5. 5 min walk to wicked weed, 10 to packs tavern. There was a baseball series during our stay, so parking was tough during that time but overall great townhouse, great location. We had the best time!

"We had a guys trip to Asheville planned but reconsidered after the devastating flood. Glad we were able to find this place and still make it happen. Things were just reopening and they were appreciative of our business. This location is awesome. You can walk up the hill to Orange Peel for concerts and Wicked Weed Brewing - less than a 15 minute walk. We didn’t get in our cars the entire weekend. The rooftop deck is awesome. We had a couple issues when we checked in and they were very responsive and friendly. Parking wasn’t an issue and the elevator was helpful. Slept five of us just fine with the sofa bed. We’d stay here any time.

"We had a great time celebrating my Mom’s birthday. The house was very clean, well stocked, nicely remodeled with very comfortable beds/couches etc. The elevator was a perfect plus. "A wonderful 4 story condo with a rooftop terrace. I appreciated that they had small items that add up in you have to purchase them yourself: dishwasher tabs, foil, sandwich bags, washer detergent, etc. It was very clean and not cluttered. Great location near the minor league baseball park.

Bachelorette Party!

"This place was AMAZING for our bachelorette party. The space was perfect- the perfect amount of seating for everyone. We loved that each bedroom had their own separate FULL bathroom. We also really enjoyed the roof top and the fire place. This place is walkable into town and right next to the minor league baseball stadium (we even got a firework show one night we were there!). Would recommend & stay again!

"This house worked out perfectly. We loved the roof top deck mountain view, with gas firepit, and the open floor plan of the interior. The garage comfortably fit an SUV and we had free street parking for our second vehicle. Beds were comfortable, with nice linens. A very short drive or Uber to downtown and close to the Biltmore as well. Definitely recommend.

"Lovely, large apartment to stay in Asheville. Walking distance to restaurants, breweries, etc. Apartment has plenty of room and is immaculately clean. Kitchen has upgraded appliances and lots of dishes, glasses, etc. A parking garage for one car and an elevator were a bonus. For more than one car, there is plenty of street parking. The rooftop is lovely too.

"This is one of the cleanest and best/most comfortably furnished properties I have rented. The garage description is accurate. However, street parking adjacent to the condo is limited but not metered (as the rental agreement states). The parking lot in front of the condo is not free and by permit only as it is part of the baseball field complex. All said, I would rent here again without a doubt!

Amazing Property in a Perfect Location!

"Amazing property. Location is fantastic and very walkable to almost anything in the downtown area where many attractions and breweries are located. Check-in was smooth and easy; good, quick communication when we had a minor issue with the front door. The property is great. Seems brand new, set up nice, roof top sitting area and fire pit were awesome. 1 caveat: the master shower floor is VERY slick/slippery. I nearly fell during every shower I took. And the cover over the drain is very prone to pop out of place, making it challenge to not trip. Suggest adding an anti-fall mat of some kind to help prevent falls. Minor thing, but it is an issue. Overall, a great property and we will definitely use this property again the next time we are in Asheville. The location is absolutely perfect!

"The location, right next to the minor league ball park, within easy walking distance to both the south slope brewery district and downtown, is excellent. The condo is new, clean, everything works, well equipped and the roof patio is very nice on a warm evening. The check-in and check-out were contactless and smooth. The only downside I can see is the vertical nature of the floorplan. There are four floors with lots of stairs - you will get your exercise. There is an elevator within the apartment, but we found ourselves mostly using the stairs.

"Wow! This property was wonderful! We had 6 adults and it fit everyone perfectly (6'2 guys didn't mind the bunk beds). "So this property is RIGHT NEXT to the minor league baseball stadium in Asheville. Which would have been really cool If there wasn’t a pandemic. Anyway, there was a garage directly underneath each unit with your own private elevator to access each floor of the unit. That was wonderful as there were three floors plus a gorgeous roof top area. The garage, however, didn’t fit our F-150 so we still had to park on the street. The unit itself was new and immaculate. The beds were comfortable, the sheets so soft, plenty of hangers, and the towels really nice. I would definitely prefer a few extra towels as there was one per person and, if you shower twice a day, you’re using a damp towel to dry yourself. The TV’s were Smart and we were able to relax in the evening and watch our Netflix. The location of the townhomes, while not very picturesque (gas station almost directly across the street), was very convenient. Walking distance to town and a very short drive to Biltmore. If you didn’t want to use the elevator constantly there were ALOT of stairs. I didn’t mind but if you have toddlers it would be very difficult to keep them safe. Bring the baby gates. I also really appreciated the binder of information provided on the coffee table which answered practically every question you could have on the unit and the surrounding area. Overall a great stay and wish we had stayed longer

Hit it Out of the Ballpark!

"Grand Slam townhome was a hit - a real dinger! Perfect accommodations for our Party of 6 going tubing the French Broad River. We appreciated the minimalist eco - friendly green surroundings. The Mattress beds / pillows were comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and clean! The kitchen well accessorized . We spent a late evening on the rooftop patio in front of the Fire pit and feeling the mountain breeze. We used the elevator for unpacking and packing ! Great A/C , TV, coffee maker, fridge, etc. We will stay again at this spacious 3 bedroom , 3 full bath and 1/2 bath townhome. Grand Slam is close to breweries and getting downtown - you must stay here if you are traveling to Asheville. Yonder booking was good to work with. The notebook on the coffee table had good information on check- in / out procedures / internet / things to do. Book it!

Gorgeous Condo in a Convenient Area

"We stayed in Grand Slam for a week and had a great vacation. The condo is located in a convenient location - we walked downtown to eat and shop and we drove to great hiking spots within an hour distance. The rooftop patio is awesome and we used the fire pit at night and enjoyed sitting around it. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again and have already sent the link to friends!
