"This was a cute, clean cabin convenient to downtown Hendersonville, Brevard, and the surrounding areas. It was easy to swing by the cabin for a reset between outings. As for the cabin itself, the kitchen has minimal supplies if you are looking to prepare meals in the cabin. THere is a single sharp knife for cutting, and pots/pans consist of a cast iron, a skillet and a small pot. You can make it work but you should know the limitations going in. There is also not a drying rack or towel on which to put washed dishes so that was a little challenging. The cabin could use a little more interior lighting. The lights above the sink and the table, while they are nice for ambience, are relatively dim and the only other light is a bedside lamp. They did have a small, portable camping light, probably intended for use by the fire pit, and I found that helpful for some brighter task lighting. If you are out late and don't leave the outside lights on, it is dark to come back to as the couple of solar lights nearest the cabin did not come on at night. I just used my phone light to make my way to the porch. There is a smart hub in the hallway just outside the bathroom. The screen stays on at all times and there is a green light that shines out from underneath which keeps the cabin pretty bright inside while you are trying to sleep. If you are light sensitive while sleeping, an eye mask would be worthwhile to pack. The water pressure in the bathroom was sufficient for washing my hair. The driveway was fine for my small SUV but if you have a lower riding vehicle like an Accord, it might be a little challenging. Yes, you will need to drive slowly up the drive no matter what you are driving. There was a minivan staying in the cabin behind mine and they seemed to struggle going up the driveway but that may have been user error as they were driving fast and causing ruts which just made it worse. Also, a full-sized SUV may not fit well in the parking space without blocking the driveway. You may want to inquire first if that's what you drive. The outside space is lovely whether you are sitting on the porch or enjoying the picnic table and fire pit area. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable but 3 of the 4 pillows were very flat and the 4th was like a cinderblock. Pillows are personal, but these could use an upgrade. Overall, it's a nice cabin with beautiful fixtures and finishes and made my overall stay in the area enjoyable!

"Garden Nest is a true gem! I was looking to book a brief stay in the mountains but didn't want to be in the middle of nowhere. This cute spot is about 8 minutes from downtown with a super easy drive to get there. It was extremely clean and outfitted with very thoughtful amenities such as a Keurig coffee maker (along with coffee pods and creamers), kitchen items to cook, luxurious linens and towels, and a welcome book with great information. Garden Nest shares the property with another small cabin located just behind it, and a larger A-frame home next door. However staying there by myself I felt like I was in my own little world. There is no dishwasher so next time I would just pack some disposable plates (sharing in case you don't like hand washing dishes). Definitely recommend booking this quaint yet comfortable cabin!

The location and cabin were lovely

"Very close to the things we wanted to do. The only negative I have is the driveway to the property is very washed out and rough. We had a Jeep so traction and clearance weren’t an issue, but someone with a more urban vehicle would have struggled. Other patrons need a heads up so they’re prepared or the driveway needs a good grading. Other than that, LOVED the space!!

"We enjoyed our weekend at this cute and cozy cabin! Perfect for a single or couple. Had everything we needed plus all the little details. About a 5-10 drive into downtown Hendersonville so it was super convenient but also about a 30 min drive to Brevard and Asheville. Spent our days out and about but love starting our day with coffee on the porch and ending our evening with cocktails by the fire pit.
