Welcome to French Broad Sunset, an executive rental for 30 day stays or longer! This Southern-style home was designed to embrace the distinctive sweeping western views that look out over the French Broad River. The ever-changing panoramic views and breathtaking sunsets can be enjoyed year round from inside or outside the home. The property provides views of recognizable mountain peaks such as Mt Pisgah, Cold Mountain and Crabtree Bald which makes you feel like you are miles away from town. Surprisingly, you are only a few minutes from Asheville and all is has to offer including restaurants, breweries, galleries, the River Arts District and the Biltmore Estate.

You will immediately feel at home as you step inside and the natural light floods over you. This comfortable home has a bright open floor plan with tall floor to ceiling windows and doors that bring the expansive views indoor to enjoy. You also have several options if you want to spend time outside. You can enjoy reading a book on the front porch swing or curl up and take a nap on the oversize chairs on the covered back porch. The stone patio is equipped with a Yoga chest containing all the essentials needed for a relaxing yoga session facing the view. In addition, there is a spacious upper and lower yard which is perfect for outdoor games.

This mountain home is surrounded by beauty and privacy and will have you wanting for nothing! It features 5 newly renovated guest rooms designed with the comfort of guests in mind, as well as a tv in each room. The primary bedroom has a stone gas fireplace with floor to ceiling doors that open to a spacious stone patio with reclining outdoor chairs that face the western views. You can also enjoy the mountain views from the luxurious jacuzzi tub in the adjoining ensuite.
Enjoy cooking meals with family and friends in the large, fully equipped kitchen. You can dine at the cozy kitchen table next to the stone fireplace or in the formal dining room. After a day of exploring, relax with a drink on the grand covered porch or enjoy the stunning sunset views. Mid to Long-Term Stay Requirements This property requires a minimum stay of 30+ consecutive nights.
All reservations are subject to the following requirements:

If stay is 90+ nights, a separate long-term rental agreement must be reviewed and signed before the reservation is finalized.
A security deposit may be required.
A professional mid-stay or monthly cleaning is required every 28 days. Cleanings will be scheduled in advance and charged separately.
Trash pickup is required every 10 days and is charged at $35 per pickup.
Monthly property inspections will be conducted with at least 24 hours’ notice
Early departure does not qualify for a refund. Long-term cancellation and reservation-change policies apply and will be detailed in the rental agreement.
Included utilities and any applicable usage terms will be specified in the rental agreement.
The reserving guest must be at least 25 years old and remain at the property for the entire stay.
All required fees, payment schedules, and long-term rental terms will be provided for review before the reservation is confirmed.

Check-In / Check-Out Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby in our 'Pet Friendly Home' collection.

Quiet Policy This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren’t permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Last-Minute Bookings For reservations made **within 5 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests. This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name

Sisters getaway

"I recently stayed at the stunning French Broad Sunset. It’s a quick trip to downtown Asheville for the restaurants, shops and the River Arts District. Another short drive to the Biltmore Estate. Although we spent plenty of time exploring, we couldn’t wait to get back by sunset. The house has a beautiful stone patio off the living room and a private one off the 1st floor bedroom. After a day of walking, shopping and eating, it was pure bliss to sink into one of the outdoor comfy lounge chairs with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. Mornings also had breathtaking views, with the fog settling over the mountains. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with all the essentials. I look forward to my next visit!

Truly An Amazing Home

"I stayed at the amazing French Broad Sunset recently. It is a stunning home. From the moment you enter the home you will be hit with a view of the mountains in the distance. It is an incredible home with incredible space for a group. The home is beyond well stocked with all the essentials and needed comforts. There is space to gather in the living room area with comfortable recliner couches and 2 reclining chairs. You can relax while taking in the views through the large picture windows. When you step out onto the back patio, you have another large space to gather in wonderful outdoor seating arrangements. The seating is so comfortable and the setting peaceful. Even a day of rain can't stop one from enjoying the views under the large covered area. There is also a beautiful fire pit space in the yard area that also overlooks the distant mountain views. At night the sky line twinkles with the lights in the distance. There is an off set private bar area and for those that need to make it a working vacation, there is a private office as well. The home is spotless and the bedrooms are all outfitted with comfortable couches and more. The mattresses and bedding are very comfortable and the decor is so pretty. The master bedroom has a private patio and views of the mountains along with a fire place and a grand bathroom. The location is very close to downtown Weaverville and only a short distance to downtown Asheville. I can't say enough about this home and all it has to offer. You feel as if you have your own bed and breakfast all to yourself. It is truly an amazing home.

Absolutely Stunning and Everything You Could Possibly Need

"The panoramic view of the blue mountains with the perfectly placed sunset is absolutely stunning. We spent most of our time out back taking in the beauty. Inside are extremely comfortable beds, a professional chef-level fully outfitted kitchen, and quite literally anything you could possibly need in a home away from home (and more!). Would be a wonderful place for a family, a family reunion, or two of more couples wanting to spend time together but also have private space. This is our second stay at a Yonder property and we find them to be reliable and responsive to any requests or concerns. Absolutely a 6-star stay!

"We've stayed at several rental houses and this is the first one where I can truly say that the photos do not do the house justice. Much bigger than it appears in the photos. Views are excellent. Layout of the house is very nice - main floor master and then 4 bedrooms on second level for quiet/privacy. Kitchen is well stocked. Fire pit and chairs also excellent. Just be prepared to drive up a very steep hill to get to the house (but hey that helps with the views).

"Our stay was so incredible, we didn’t want to leave! We can begin with the 180 views where the landscape changed through the day. Our son proposed on the back patio leaving us with great memories and spectacular photos. The home has everything to offer to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit, relaxing on the patio and in the large living room with comfortable seating. I will definitely rebook this home, but next time I’m staying longer! A special thanks to Yonder for making the rental process easy and making sure we had chosen the best place for our occasion.

"Honestly, the most breathtaking view I have ever seen and this was in the summer. I can’t imagine the fall view. This home has everything you need including a well stocked kitchen, TVs in every bedroom, an office and a gorgeous outdoor fire pit. I felt like I was on a secluded mountain side yet location was only 7 miles from downtown Asheville. It was so easy to get to all the sights Asheville has to offer including the Biltmore House. Most enjoyable was just sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. I will be back!

"If you are looking for the PERFECT mountain getaway - look NO further. You will make everlasting memories with your family and friends. It will take your breath away as soon as you step up to the front door. You can enjoy your morning coffee and evening drinks sitting on the patio or around the fire pit overlooking the most amazing views. You will love the master bathroom where you have the option of soaking in the whirlpool tub (while soaking up the view) or stepping into the huge, oversized walk in shower. Very close to Asheville with so many things to do or just rest and relax without going anywhere. Everything you need is ready and waiting. I can’t wait to go back!!! (I didn’t want to leave) Jenny
