Location: Private home located in the gated & exclusive, upscale and private Mountain Air community. You are 12 minutes to Burnsville, and 50 minutes to Asheville. You are also app. 1 hour from the Asheville Regional Airport. Home is accessed via only paved and fully maintained roads. Mountain Air private roads are plowed and salted for any snow events or ice. Please note that the home is located in a very private, quiet and exclusive neighborhood. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and their neighborhood.

The home affords year round access, and is great for groups of any and all ages. The home is situated just outside of Burnsville, NC, affording privacy for everyone to relax & enjoy the feel of the WNC mountains.

Get ready to be “wowed” by the never-ending views from this contemporary mountain style retreat villa. With soaring vistas, high ceilings, vaulted rooms, and cozy spaces, you will immediately feel at home at Fairway Mountain Villa. (That is of course if you can tear yourself away from the wrap-a-round decks & soaking in the spectacle of the Blue Ridge Mountains, & actually venture inside!) The Villa affords a nice great room, a lower level Great Room, with plenty of space to unwind and gather with your group. But, if you need some “alone time”, there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. There are 3 outside porches, decks, and patios for ultimate outdoor relaxation; including the hot tub.

While at the Villa, everyone enjoys all that the home has to offer; from the garage Game Room, multiple Great Room fireplaces, and of course the spectacular decks, where you can pull up a chair and take in the "sound of silence", observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise at the top of the world.

You are also an drive from America’s favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! "Property was beautiful! The house accommodated 3 families plus Gigi :) Views were spectacular! House was well equipped and even had a play/game room! We enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the golf course and cooked supper on the gas grill. I would highly recommend!!!

"Absolutely amazing time! The house could not have been any more perfect for our weekend girls trip that included 6 women. The house & location were exactly as described & included everything you could possibly need (even spare batteries). The ice maker was a pleasant bonus! My favorite place in the home was the combined living & dining areas. We spent hours sitting around talking, eating, laughing, drinking & catching up. The house was large enough that everyone had their own space & were comfortable. The fireplace made the home so cozy (FYI there is not a remote or switch, you must turn it on & off w/the knob inside the grate) & the hot tub was a huge hit! The beds were incredibly comfortable! The water pressure in the showers was amazing and the hot water was HOT! 🔥 We had 3 very small issues that needed to be addressed with the management company & they were wonderful to work with in getting the issues resolved quickly & efficiently. They were very apologetic for the minimal inconvenience to us. I have been renting vacation homes for years & this home was by far the very best home I have ever stayed in. Thank you for a wonderful time making unforgettable memories with some of my most favorite people! We hope to be back again!

"We had a lovely time at Fairway Mountain Villa. The house was beautiful and really well stocked. Lots of cooking equipment, which was great, as our group likes to cook. The rooms were nice sized, bathrooms rather large. And what a beautiful neighborhood! The road up the mountain was a bit treacherous but made the views that much more amazing! We had no trouble with booking, check in or check out. This was my first time booking with Yonder, so I was pleasantly surprised!

"This was an amazing place for work retreat and goal planning for 2023 for me and my team of 4. All of us had their own bedroom and bathroom. The place was spacious and beautifully located and we have enjoyed every minute while staying there. Also offers impeccable and safe place to stay. "The house was lovely! Perfect size for our party of 11. View was amazing and the hot tub was an awesome amenity. The HOA forms were a little annoying but I get that’s out of the owners control. Only complaint was the 3in1 shampoo - I assumed a house this nice would have shampoo and conditioner. If I had known it would’ve been some combo of body wash, bubble bath, and shampoo I would’ve brought my own.

That Mountain Air

"We moved Mountain Air ! It was a little farther from Asheville than we liked but beautiful nonetheless. The house had amazing views and was comfortable. The main level did not heat well and we were a bit disappointed by the fireplaces not being turned on. Being from FL, we were trying to get the entire experience. But overall we would stay at this property again .

"What a terrific home! Gorgeous views (even got to see a bear cub out in the distance!) and the home is near palatial size. It was a truly enjoyable getaway! The quick communication and availability to hop on the phone as needed was crucial, and they were incredibly supportive. The property is in a gated community, so be prepared to read the terms and provide some additional paperwork you may not have to do elsewhere - but I promise its worth it!

"This beautiful mountain retreat was the perfect place for our family of 11 to gather from Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia. Great spaces for adults to visit while the children were entertained with ping pong and games in the downstairs family room. We loved being able to sit at the dining table together at mealtime. The kitchen was awesome with ample dishes and cutlery for our large group and a great supply of cookware for any dish you might want to make. The house was fully stocked with all supplies needed. Everyone agreed that our favorite gathering place was the porch which provided a great place to visit while enjoying the amazing scenic view. Our visit was a memory maker for the entire family!

Absolutely Fabulous House!

"Wow! What a Fabulous unbelievably well appointed house with such a Spectacular view! My family of eight (seven adults and one toddler) had the Most Wonderful time in this Amazing place. After testing co-vid negative, we all drove either north from Florida or south from Pennsylvania and met in the middle on the top of this remote mountain for a week of just relaxing and enjoying each other. In a different time, we would have explored all that the Asheville area has to offer and this would be a great place to stay to do just that. In the midst of the co-vid crisis, however, the house was absolutely Perfect for staying inside and enjoying all of the amenities. The only time any of us ventured down the mountain was to go grocery shopping. We are familiar with Publix, so we opted to drive the 35 minutes there for our big shop on our first day. We went to Ingles mid-way through the week for some fill in groceries, because it was only 15 minutes away and were delighted to find that it was every bit as much of a pleasure as Publix, if not more! The house itself is simply Marvelous in every respect! Each bedroom is Lovely and comfortable with private well appointed bathrooms. The main great room is Gorgeous with plush easy chairs and sofa around a fireplace and an enormous dining table which was also great for puzzles, crafts, computers, etc. The kitchen was so unbelievably well stocked that every one of us marveled when it was our turn to make dinner that whatever we needed was right at our fingertips. We ate outside every night on the Beautiful wrap around porch and the view was just Breathtaking! The porch has so many different seating areas and we took advantage of them all during our week. There is also a second great room downstairs which is also cozy and plush with an elegant card table, great rocking chairs around another fireplace, a sofa and a big comfy chair around a fun ottoman. Outside this downstairs great room is a deck with a Wonderful hot tub that is just hot and running whenever you are ready. As an added extra surprise, the garage has been enclosed and is such a great playroom. My mother was so excited to find a ping pong table, we all found puzzles to complete, and my two year old grandson spent many hours in the playhouse, on the horse rug, and in the toddler rocking chairs. All in all, it was just the Best week in the Most Wonderful place!
