Parking is not included: Guests may use metered street parking or nearby public parking garages at their own expense
- The Buncombe County Health and Human Services parking garage is located on the block behind the building
- Additional municipal garages—including Rankin Avenue, Harrah’s Cherokee Center, Aloft Hotel, and Wall Street—are approximately one to three blocks away
- Public garage rates provided by the City are generally free for the first hour, then $1.25 per hour, with a $12 daily maximum; rates are subject to change
- Metered street parking is generally free from Saturday at 6:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM and on city holidays; always confirm posted signage

"It was so central to our downtown explorations. The apartment was really comfortable, with everything we needed. One note, the previous tenants did not take out their trash & recycling. This may have been due to some confusion in finding the trash receptacles. There seemed to be different directions in the book, emails, and fridge notes. We found the bins are outside, on the back street behind the building (not in a trash room past the elevators). Other than that, we found the Colby Loft a delightful stay.

"Very comfortable and beautiful property. Well appointed and furnished. Excellent bedding and bathrooms. Save and private located in the heart of Asheville. Only problem is parking. Closest lot is very expensive. More affordable parking is blocks away. It's worth it because i love the property - just wish parking was easier.

"The Colby Loft is in a fantastic location. Located right in the heart of downtown. The S&W Market below the condo is a historic art deco building with a few take-out options for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We were able to walk to local restaurants, shops and points of interest. Parking and unloading was a challenge- but the public parking garage was convenient and a short walk behind the building. In order to enter the building and use the elevator we were sent several different codes at check-in. This was a bit confusing but we figured it out, and appreciated the security the codes provided. The condo was clean, equipped and comfortable. We liked the cement walls, urban industrial feel, & the decor. We would definitely recommend this location and will consider returning someday. d(ps- the king box spring needs replacing) Thank you!

"This was a great place to stay with my besties for our girls' reunion and I will likely bring my own family back to stay next time I am in Asheville, which is fairly often. I didn't realize that there was no parking available but there is a fairly priced garage within walking distance so not a big deal. Gorgeous place, lots of vibe.

"Everything was great except for the management company. The condo states it holds up to 7 guests. We arrived and there were only 4 towels. We requested additional towels and were told no they only supply 4. We had 5 guests so had to supply our own towels.

"Beautiful and right in the heart of the downtown action. If the Asheville vibe is what you seek, this beautiful apartment is for you. Well furnished and very nice appointments. Linens, towels and accessories as good as. It. Quiet. If you aren’t into the downtown scene, you may prefer a little farther out. Property is managed by a bigger company and has many rules and hoops. Arrangements were not cleared until the last minute even with a reservation paid for weeks ahead of time. Wish it had been smoother. But, the property was worth the hassle….I would return.

"Above all else the location is FANTASTIC. It is in the heart of Asheville and an easy walk to just about everything. The condo's kitchen was very well equipped with anything you can think of... The master bedroom and bath were very roomy. Hanging up clothes is challenging since the master closet is locked. Besides that, it was a very comfortable living space for the 4 of us. Close parking is limited and they fill up fast. Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY!!

"The apartment is in a very walkable location. We were able to park for the week in the long term garage just behind the building, for $12 a day. Just a heads up to people who book - this is certainly downtown and with that comes the issues that many cities are facing right now - homelessness, public drug usage. We didn’t have any issues and felt very safe with the many door/elevator codes between the front door and apartment. Just something to be aware of!

"Our stay at the loft was absolutely perfect. The location simply cannot be beat. If you are worried about hearing noise from the S&W, don’t be! We were amazed that we couldn’t even hear when they had live music downstairs! The loft has everything you need from towels and linens, to kitchen supplies and bathroom necessities. I cannot wait to stay again!!

"We have visited Asheville several times and we wanted to try staying somewhere new. This house did not disappoint!! Great location right in the middle of town. We were able to quickly walk to all of our favorite restaurants. We didn't need to go far though because there were several great restaurants right downstairs. Loved being able to run down to grab lunch to bring it back upstairs to the apartment to eat. The escape room Breakout is right next door so we tried that out a couple of times. I highly recommend. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and getting in and out of the building and the apartment itself was easy. We were only there Friday-Sunday so we were able to find free parking for our entire stay. We would definitely stay there again.

"This is a beautiful property central to everything downtown Asheville has to offer. The arrival process was a little confusing. There is a food hall with several eating options on the ground floor. You have to enter through the food hall to get to the elevator. That was confusing, but we figured it out. Other than that it is was wonderful stay and an absolutely perfect location for walking anywhere in Asheville.

"This was an excellent location for walking to restaurants and shops in the downtown Asheville area. The unit is tucked away upstairs of retail establishments and overlooks the street, which is a conduit to tons of amazing restaurants. The kitchen is updated and beautiful, although we only used it for coffee. We were two couples who stayed and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the place was very clean, which is always a relief for me. The fireplace does not work so don’t think you’ll be able to have that atmosphere and some of the leatherette furniture was worn through and bedroom walls were pretty marked up that a little paint would definitely make it fresher, all of which made it feel a little less than perfect, but did not detract from our stay. I would definitely rebook at this property without hesitation. Oh, and eat at Jerusalem Garden Cafe just down the street. THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!

"Colby Loft is in the historic S&W Cafeteria building, which has been recently renovated. That was a nice perk for the late nights we wanted ice cream or a little snack without having to leave. We had 3 different codes to remember for the building, elevator, and door- but that made us feel safer because the food hall on the first floor is a public space until 10pm. The location is perfect for walking and exploring. The public parking garage (no condo parking) is about a 5 min walk behind the building, and will cost you 12 dollars a day. Check in and check out was easy, however the instructions in the book are incomplete.. it says to collect all the garbage and put it in the “blank” (the sentence isn’t finished lol), so we found a dumpster on our way out. The loft was equipped with a Keurig and they provided k-cups. Linens were clean. There are a lot of marks on the walls, so a fresh coat of paint would definitely update the loft. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay and we would stay again!

"We had a really great experience with Yonder and the specific property. The loft is right downtown, and very convenient to a lot of destinations. As noted in the description, it’s street parking only, but there are a number of garages very close to the loft that were reasonably priced (we had the best luck with the Health and Human Services building garage which is actually behind the building, but basically right out the back door). We will definitely look to book a Yonder property to the extent we’re in the area again.

Well located, responsive management, cool building

"Overall a good place. Walking distance to so many places. We enjoyed our stay and once the construction on the building is done there will be a brewery and other places to eat in the buildings. We had an issue with the shower draining and the management had someone out to fix it in about an hour.

Great Girls Weekend

"Colby Loft - Asheville, NC We loved our girls weekend right in the center of town! We walked everywhere and enjoyed the city. The morning coffee looking out the windows to the downtown area was such a beautiful bonus. The only negative was the lack of a parking space or even a safe area to stop the car and unload bags and groceries. bit we LOVED every bit of the urban apartment!

"This property was centrally located near a lot of great restaurants, shops, etc. Larger grocery stores were a short drive. parking was convenient as well. Security at the property was great with several codes to enter the property. we really felt like a local for a few days.

Great Annual December Asheville Trip

"Our family of 4 takes an annual trip to Asheville around the holidays. We tried this location for the first time and we are really thinking of coming back. It's wonderfully located in the heart of downtown, but the property is very safe and secure. You do have to park in nearby municipal parking, but it's not bad at all and relatively reasonable for the price. The property was well appointed and there was plenty of room for everyone while we were there for the weekend. We will absolutely consider returning next year!

Beautiful Space

"I loved this place! Perfect layout, very clean, easiest check in I've ever had I think and it's close to everything you could want. There is a parking deck directly behind the building to so "on-site" parking is not an issue, we were able to easily walk from the deck and the daily rate was not expensive. I will for sure book this spot again since we had 4 people living in extreme comfort for about half of what it would have cost to stay in a hotel downtown. Thanks so much!

Great Place To Stay!

"We really enjoyed our stay in this loft condo in downtown Asheville. We were walking distance to scads of shops and eateries. We were there during COVID19 and we were impressed with the compliance to wearing a mask by the locals. The condo is comfortable and very roomy. It is well appointed with full kitchen amenities including a keurig coffee maker. There was plenty of TP, paper towels, kitchen cleanup supplies. The beds were comfortable, and even though the loft condo is located on a busy street overlooking a park that was frequently occupied by the those somewhat less fortunate than others, the condo was quiet and we did not have any trouble sleeping. Overall great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.
