Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check-in and/or Late Check-out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog-friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130, and there is a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. Everything was so organized and the kitchen was so well equipped. Something we never saw in any of our previous rentals! We loved the view of the mountains and def when it was snowing and we were sitting in the hot tub. 10/10 would recommend

"This is overall just a wonderful home! The setting was great, with amazing views. The entire home was very clean. I have never stayed in a rental home that was as well equipped as this home. I would certainly enjoy staying in this home again.

"Spent a wonderfully relaxing 5 nights last week over Thanksgiving. This is a lovely home in Mars Hill, NC. Rental handled by Yonder. The Mountain View’s are fabulous. Location is off the beaten bath, perhaps 30 minutes from Asheville. Very quiet, great for our family of 7. Private hot tub on the deck is awesome, especially during a light snow flurry! Wonderful gas fireplace! Home is VERY well equipped. There is a 2nd refrigerator in the lower level, not depicted in pictures. Very helpful especially during a Thanksgiving holiday! I would have happily given a 5 star review but: several of the lamps in the bedrooms need to have their 3 way bulbs replaced, home very clean except above refrigerator (noted when we placed food on top of refrigerator) also upper shower lip dirty, no griddle for cooking, stove light needs to be replaced, bidet leaks onto bathroom floor. We did contact the mgmt company but they were a little short staffed due to the holiday and we told them not to bother coming out for these small inconveniences. We did ask them about drinking the water as the refrigerator said filter needed to be changed. We were told a new filter had recently been inserted and walked us through how to reset it. Would suggest perhaps placing a comfort height toilet on the main level. Easier for older guests to use. So, many comments, but overall this house was very comfortable, you can tell how much the owners care about guests comfort and enjoyment of their home! We would return to this home… Cloud Dancer👍

"What a gorgeous retreat! After driving up a winding road you arrive at the beautiful Majestic Mountain Lodge. It seems to overlook the world. The whole family settled into the spacious home and then went to the kitchen together to cook a meal before the sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped, everything we needed for a terrific meal. We finished dinner on the deck as the sun was setting, we poured another glass of wine and watched a memorable, beautiful, end to a memorable, beautiful day. I would highly recommend a stay at Majestic Mountain Lodge, in Mars Hills it was terrific

"This property was everything we were looking for! Spacious, clean, functional, and stocked with all the things we needed for a fun night in. Sadly, the ski resort was not open and ready, but our property manager sent a list of things to do that the locals recommend, and we had a blast nonetheless!

"This home was PERFECT for our family’s getaway. Plenty of spaces to hang out. We really enjoyed ping pong and the pool table. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever encountered. We enjoyed meals around the huge kitchen table, movies, and the hot tub. Would highly recommend!

"I had the pleasure of staying at Majestic Mountain Lodge in Mars Hill, NC in mid October 2023. The first thing that took my breath away was the fall color and views from the balcony. The hot tub on the balcony was nice for relaxing. The unit itself was very well stocked with toiletries, bedding, spices, and soaps. When leaving the unit to explore the area my favorite places were Weaverville for shopping, dining and a farmers market. Boone was another nice day trip for shopping and browsing. Asheville had a Woolworth’s which displayed fine arts and crafts. It also had an old soda fountain for a burger and shake. The food was good! I enjoyed a nice massage at the spa at the bottom of the mountain. The time flew by. I hope to visit Majestic Mountain Lodge again. Kudos to the host.

"Had a great time at Majestic Mountain Lodge at Mars Mountain N.C. The place we stayed at was clean, well stocked with what we needed to have a great time. Great walking trail up the mountain for even better views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking out from our hot tub on the upper deck put the BRM into a calming perspective. Loved it up there and looking to go back to the Majestic Mountain Lodge soon. A great dog friendly area and great mountain air.Loved it.

"We had a fabulous time at the Majestic Mountain Lodge in Mars Hill. The stay was terrific. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The views from our location were breathtaking. The venue was immaculate and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. The hot tub was an amazing way to end the day looking out at the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountain Ranges. Can't wait to go back. A bonus for us, it was dog friendly.

Just So Magical

"We had the amazing opportunity to stay at the Majestic Mountain Lodge this summer and had one of the best times our family has had in years. The views and sunsets are just so magical I can see why they called it Majestic Mountain Lodge. We counted seven mountain ranges we could see from the back deck all while lounging in the hot tub or sitting comfy at the high top table. The kitchen is fully stocked with all sorts of oils and spices and everything you could possibly need to cook an amazing dinner. We kept calling it the “kitchen with a view” whether you were cooking or cleaning dishes you had the amazing long range view and breath taking sunsets to stare at. The bedrooms were also just so spacious and super immaculate. Everyone had plenty of their own space to do whatever they desired. There’s work stations in each bedroom, an awesome game room with a giant tv, ping pong and pool, lots of new and old school board games and super fast internet for when we wanted to stream some movies in front of the gas fireplace. There’s also a front porch with seating and a deck off the primary with comfy chairs if you’re looking to get away for some quiet reading time. It’s such a peaceful spot on top of the mountain to get away from it all and unwind yet close enough to explore, eat and shop. We loved tubing down the French Broad River and driving into Linville to check out the beautiful waterfalls and winery amongst many other things. This is our new favorite spot and we will be booking again for next summer. So much to do and explore in WNC, the activities are just endless. Thanks for the memories Majestic Mountain Lodge!! See you next summer!

Loved Every Minute!

"We have never seen a more beautiful sunset than from this property’s balcony. We saw deer, bunnies, geese, and bears. It was an adventure! The home is grand yet made you feel comfy and cozy. The fireplace was nice. The spa was nice. The deck was nice. The appliances were nice. The home was very well stocked with spices, salt & pepper, assorted spice rubs, olive oil, vegetable oil, flour, sugar, coffee pods, creamer, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, q-tips and even make up remover pads!! Oh and don’t forget the laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Any of our questions or needs were met promptly. We absolutely 100% loved every minute we spent here and cant wait to do it again!!
