Bullhead Mountain Lodge is a stunning, lodge style home with extensive locally sourced timber beams and stone throughout. This spacious home is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 1.5 miles (4 minutes) from downtown Black Mountain, 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, 30 minutes to the Asheville Regional airport, 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 19 minutes to the gates of Biltmore Estate, and 30 minutes to Lake Lure.

Even more breathtaking than the photos, this meticulously decorated vacation lodge is the perfect space for your groups stay in the mountains. Equipped with plenty of comfortable seating throughout, your large group will feel right at home. There are 4 gathering areas, a front sunroom overlooking the mountains, rear pool room with large TV and games, a great room, and a cozy TV room with fireplace off of the kitchen.

The gourmet kitchen features a birds nest tower and professional grade appliances, complete with all the cooking accessories you can think of to prepare a feast. There are 6-bedrooms and a bunk room that is accessed through one of the king rooms, all with comfortable mattresses and nice bedding. Three kings and a queen bedroom are ensuite. The remaining two king bedrooms share a hall bathroom. There is a bunk room with 8 bunks and double bed for the kids. The kids bunk room has video games and a foosball table. In the wellness wing, there is an exercise room with a Peloton bike, sauna and extra full bathroom.

You’ll have plenty of space to take in the mountain air in any of the outdoor areas, including the swimming pool, hot tub and fire pit area. You’re also welcome to bring your dog!

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very private and quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"Beautiful house, plenty of room for our group. Kitchen was great for cooking, and was fully stocked with appliances tableware, pots and pans and spices. Very large natural gas grill outside was a plus. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean with plenty of room. We used the fire pit, which is located in the front of the house. As another reviewer mentioned, there are some nosy neighbors walking on the street that shined their flashlights on us a couple times, which was odd. We were always respectful of our volume and didn’t go out past 10 so we had no problems, but can see how it could be an issue with a louder group. Overall a great house and host and would recommend to others.

"12 guys for a hangout / golf trip. Close to Asheville and just a great spot to accommodate us. Tons of tvs and places to relax. Everybody loved it in the group. Would stay here again.

Large Family Vacation

"This property was great for our large family vacation. The kids loved the bunk room. It was hard to tell from the pictures but there are 8 bunks plus a double bed in that room. The only downside is that the bunk room can only be accessed through one of the king bedrooms. We enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, fire pit and cornhole boards. The front door had a pane of glass broken when we arrived but Yonder was quick with a response in getting a technician out to clean everything thoroughly and had a company come to measure for replacement.

"Love this spacious space. It was perfect for our Wolverine's Girls Rugby Team. We came out for the first time to Asheville, North Carolina for a National Rugby Tournament. Our girls loved the house! The pool was amazing and so perfect for our group. Hot tub was great for recovery after a long day of playing rugby. It was a 2 day tournament. The house was the best!! We had enough beds for everyone and space to relax and hangout. Thank you for the amazing experience! The house made our trip such a great experience.

"I stayed with a large group of friends - we all enjoyed our stay! Great place that easily fit all of us, loved the pool and hot tub, and generally had an amazing time. It was a bit difficult to get Uber/Lyft from the house, but we managed.

"Great place for a group! Our Book Club had such a great time, lots of space for everyone to feel comfortable and lounge. The kitchen was so open and great for making a couple meals inside, they have everything you need! The natural light was absolutely amazing!
