"The house is very convenient for a group with all bedrooms having en suite bathrooms, and plenty of fun games and activities to do! The management company was very responsive and quick when we had a minor issue. We enjoyed our stay!

"Very well-equipped and grandkids loved the books and games in loft area. Large scale rooms with plenty of room to spread out. Convenient to Asheville. Bonus was the Black Bear that came through the yard during breakfast, grandkids were amazed and excited to see a live bear (through the front room windows). The three levels provide plenty of privacy for a group of ten.

"We did not have a chance to use the hot tub or fire pit.. Storms at night. I will say that this property lives up to the photos and advertisements. We did not have to do a thing but bring our bags in. Kitchen was fully stocked. Bedrooms, etc.. stocked. We were short one day of an essential but was told if we purchased they would reimburse us.Host was great.. Responsive within 5 minutes with any questions.We would definitely stay here again and or recommend highly.

"Our family enjoyed the Blackberry Lodge!!! It was a quiet setting with loads of activities on site! The hot tub, fire pit and pool table were big hits!! The kitchen was well stocked. "We absolutely LOVED our stay at Blackberry Lodge! This house is so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is by far the most well-stocked VRBO in which we’ve ever stayed. The beds were comfortable and the entertainment options were plentiful! Several of us enjoyed the hot tub, but we all enjoyed the pool table & some competitive ping pong. The fact that the property is pet friendly was our deciding factor in choosing Blackberry Lodge. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Wonderful Stay

"We had a wonderful stay with two different sides of our family over Christmas. It was perfect for together time while still having our own space. We had trouble with the oven on the first day but Yonder got that fixed for us on the second day there (I’m not used to a gas oven so not sure if 22 minutes to heat to 400 is normal but worked for our purposes!). The house was close enough to pick up things we forgot and quiet enough for relaxing outside. Would stay again!

Family Reunion

"My family was in the area visiting extended family and wanted to have a space we could gather and reconnect. Blackberry Lodge was perfect! Plenty of room to sit and share stories, hugs, tears and pictures. After the mini reunion a couple of us relaxed in the awesome hot tub and my parents (both in their 80s!) enjoyed the pool table. I definitely recommend!

"We loved everything about our stay, the property management company was phenomenal and thought of everything. The personal touches with local treats and bottled waters were a very thoughtful touch. "We absolutely loved this place. The den and house overall was so spacious. There was a huge supply of firewood that we used for indoor fires every night and there was even a real Christmas tree! Lots of kitchen supplies and lots of other supplies like trash bags, detergents etc. there was a basket full of towels for the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

"Our stay at Blackberry Lodge was wonderful! The location was great because we could easily get into Asheville, and also to all the areas south of Asheville in Mills River and Hendersonville. The property was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a couple of nights. The bathrooms were all nice to have in each room. We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We also used the EV Charger!

"Wow!! This property exceeded all of our expectations. The cleanliness, the waters by the bed, and the amount of entertainment the house alone provided via games. "This house was perfect!!!! We went with our 4 adult children and their spouses and we all loved it. We played more games than ever. Ping pong and pool table were a big hit. No one had a complaint. Beautiful House and Area

"The Blackberry Lodge was a perfect house for our family's trip to this area for my nephew and his now wife's wedding. As soon as we walked in we loved the openness of the main living area. Yonder surprised us with a nice note, fruit, snacks and coffee in the kitchen area. They also provided us with lots of ice in the outside freezer. We really appreciated the kindness. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy for us to cook meals. Having 5 bedroom and 5 1/2 baths allowed everyone to have their own bathroom in their room which was nice for privacy. The 1/2 bath was convenient for everyone to use. We enjoyed all the extra amenities like the pool table, foosball table, ping pong table and jacuzzi. We loved having the jacuzzi and used it alot. Sitting out on the decks and enjoying the beauty of the area was so relaxing and it was extra special to watch the lightening bugs light up the night. This was the 1st time for all but one of use to see lightening bugs so we were so excited. Outside the wedding activities we did make time to go to the Biltmore which is a must if you are in the area. We also spent a day driving through and exploring the Smokey National Park which was breath taking. Ashville was close and we did get to see some of it. Thank you for sharing this house with us and helping to make our 1st trip to North Carolina special.

"Fantastic property! Huge with multiple great gathering spaces. Incredible game rooms with pool, foosball and ping pong table. Weber grill and hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen for all cooking needs (not a lot of restaurants nearby) but fairly close grocery and multiple quirky local breweries (strongly recommend) with excellent beers and rotating food trucks (Venezuelan food incredible).

"We had a great weekend stay with friends at the Blackberry Lodge . Plenty of room and Yonder saw to every detail from complimentary wine, cookies, popcorn, coffee, fruit, and bedside water bottles in every bedroom to keeping in touch with us to make sure our stay was comfortable and it even worked out that we were able to check-in two hours early. Since we were traveling from out of state, it was extremely helpful. There were TV’s in every room except the living room off the kitchen, which would have been nice, while enjoying our morning coffee, but all in all, our stay was great. "I recently stayed at this beautiful mountain house and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed at the home layout and the serene atmosphere. Pros: Location: The house is situated just 20 minutes outside of Asheville and offers breathtaking views of the forest, with a sense of tranquility. It’s the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Comfort: The house is incredibly comfortable and well-maintained. The bedrooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the living areas are spacious and inviting. Amenities: The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, there’s a fireplace for chilly nights, and even a hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking. Outdoor Space: The outdoor space is fantastic, with a large deck that offers views of the trees. There’s also a grill for barbecuing and plenty of seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Activities: There are plenty of activities to do in the area, from hiking and biking to exploring nearby towns and enjoying local cuisine. Cons: Accessibility: The only minor downside is that the house is a bit remote, so having a car is essential. However, the seclusion is part of what makes this place so special. Overall Experience: Our stay at this mountain house was unforgettable. It’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

"Blackberry Lodge was the perfect place for end of year family get away. The house was exactly as listed. Probably the most stocked vacation rental I have stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked for large family meals. The extra touches that Yonder provided like coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, and such were added bonus. Will definitely book with Yonder if we are in the area again. You can’t go wrong with this house it is close enough to everything. We loved the Local Joint for breakfast.

"This property was perfect for our inaugural Couples Trip. Each couple had a beautiful bedroom and private bathroom, which was a major plus. We also had ample space to socialize and dine together. "The home was beautiful, very well appointed and very comfortable for the group (3 couples and one single, all family). We used four of the five bedrooms and having all of them with their own en-suite baths was great. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet reasonably convenient to grocery stores, local restaurants and breweries, as well as downtown Asheville and Hendersonville. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely rebook if we plan another trip to the area in the future. One thing to note - If you or someone in your group is not able to easily navigate stairs, this house may be a bit challenging. That said, the master bedroom, kitchen and primary living area are all on the first floor, so it may be doable. Overall, an excellent property.

Great House!

"We made use of the well appointed kitchen (with unexpected treats- thank you!), large dining table, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and enjoyed having individual bathrooms. There were SO many gathering spaces! The location was good for airport access and access into Asheville. The lower level bedrooms have no closets or bureaus- just be aware- but one guest was unable to come so that bedroom served as a closet for the other bedroom. Early check in was unavailable due to prior guests leaving the day of our arrival, but we adjusted and made it work. We had a great trip and the house made a great backdrop for all of our activities. We really appreciated the attention to detail that made this a great home for us!

50th Birthday Celebration

"I celebrated my 50th at Blackberry. We had a great time while there. We chose this location because each bedroom had a full bath. Also the large dinning table and well appointed kitchen, not to mention the hot tub! Everything is in the house. Kitchen appliances, blankets, loads of towels, not to mention washing machine detergent(a first). Just 5 minutes away is a great brewery, close by pizza and bbq restaurants. 10 out of 10. "I was looking for a house to host my yoga retreat and since my guests are typically 55+ we were looking for particulars like en-suite bathrooms, queen/king beds, plenty of private spaces and an open space to do yoga. They have so many properties it was difficult to figure out on my own. From the moment I reached out to Yonder and asked for help, they were amazing: immediate responses, helpful advice, genuine care. It’s a family-run company that makes you feel like family. I ended up renting Blackberry Lodge and everyone loved it and said we should do the retreat there again. Between the top-notch service and the gorgeous homes, I’ll go straight to Yonder to book all my future retreats. We’re doing one at Whiskey Rock in the fall and I know it’ll be another amazing experience

House in the Woods

"A lovely property in a wooded area outside of Asheville. Spacious home with wonderful amenities. A luxury to have 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths for a group of senior couples, as well as plenty of games to entertain us. Approximately 20 minutes to Asheville and some breweries/restaurants a bit closer to the house. The only minor criticism we had was the fact that there was no television in the main living area, which is rather unusual. There was one in the lower living area, but not enough seating for 8 people. Otherwise, a clean and well-equipped property.

"Very spacious, lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. It had the best-stocked kitchen we have ever experienced in a vacation rental. Plenty of utensils, dishes, spices, coffee, and cooking supplies. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore, etc. Lovely decor and art, nice furniture, TVs in every room, hot tub, fire pit, and so many good amenities.

Very Well Suited

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was as pictured. It was very well suited for a group with plenty of spaces to gather or have privacy. The home was well organized and well stocked without being cluttered. It was nice to have an organized kitchen with serving ware suitable for a large group. We loved having 4 king beds and private bathrooms for each bedroom. The driveway is a bit tight but workable. I expected the location to be more remote as opposed to in a neighborhood but the neighbors were far enough away and shielded by trees so it didn't make much difference. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this home highly for groups and families.

"Great experience, great location. Well equipped. Host complimentary: provided fruits, cookies, and two red wine bottles. Host allowed an hour early check-in. Hot tub and gas grill were plus but we couldn’t use as it was cold outside. Driveway is tricky for big van.

"The house is so spacious and very well laid out. Bonus is that with all the space, the rooms are big and each has it's own bathroom! Plenty to do with the hot tub being in perfect position to be able to see games on the tv in the basement, beautiful lounge area outside that is just adjacent to the fire pit area. The home has games galore in the very cute and spacious loft area. The kitchen had all the things we needed and Yonder was very sweet and left a welcome note with snacks and wine! What a treat! Will rent again if in this area!

If you're lucky enough to stay on a cold and snowy night you won't be disappointed. Blackberry Ln Transforms into an epic sledding hill and the great room sports an awesome wood-burning fireplace for the post-sledding thaw.

Awesome Christmas stay

"My family stayed here over the 2021 Christmas holiday, and it was outstanding! The property was decorated for the holidays (including a tree) and is about 15 minutes outside of Asheville, so very close to going to either downtown or Biltmore. There is also a Food Lion about 5 minutes from the house so convenient for grocery runs. The neighborhood is upscale and quiet - a true oasis in the mountains. The house itself is well equipped with everything you need to cook, including a mixer. My sister-in-law brought hers just in case and we were surprised to see one was there already. The downstairs is just as shown as we enjoyed the pool table enormously! During out visit, we went to the National Gingerbread Competition, the Winter Lights display (at the NC Arboretum) and of course the Biltmore which is breathtaking and worth another visit. On Christmas Day, since it was so warm, and based on the recommendation of the property manager, we hiked up to Bearwallow Mountain, an easy drive from the house and only about a mile to the top – so a very accessible hike for our group. The view is awesome – highly recommended! The property managers were accessible and responsive, and it was a true surprise to enter the home and hear Christmas music playing as well as see a gift package on the counter. Everything about the experience was top notch!!! Thank you VRBO and Yonder for an awesome Christmas memory!!!

Great Stay at Blackberry Lodge

"We had a great stay at Blackberry Lodge. The house was huge enough for 6 adults and 4 kids to have their own space. We enjoyed all of the amenities like the hot tub, ping pong table, and pool table. We loved gathering around the fireplace for family time, and playing board games in the loft upstairs. The kitchen also had everything you could possibly need to cook or bake with, which we did. The house was in a great location, not far from downtown and not far from good food like Piazza and the Smokey Pig. We would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Asheville!
