This modern Asheville vacation rental offers step-free entry, a stone fireplace, screened porch, and convenient access to the very best of Western North Carolina. The open-concept living space centers around a gas-log stone fireplace and comfortable sectional seating. The fully stocked kitchen includes cookware, a gas stove, Keurig and drip coffee maker, and dining for six. The screened-in porch offers outdoor dining and a gas grill, creating additional living space year-round.

Mid to Long-Term Stay Requirements: This property requires a minimum stay of 90+ consecutive nights.
All reservations are subject to the following requirements:

A separate long-term rental agreement must be reviewed and signed before the reservation is finalized.
A security deposit may be required.
A professional mid-stay or monthly cleaning is required every 28 days. Cleanings will be scheduled in advance and charged separately.
Trash pickup is required every 10 days and is charged at $35 per pickup.
Monthly property inspections will be conducted with at least 24 hours’ notice
Early departure does not qualify for a refund. Long-term cancellation and reservation-change policies apply and will be detailed in the rental agreement.
Included utilities and any applicable usage terms will be specified in the rental agreement.
The reserving guest must be at least 25 years old and remain at the property for the entire stay.
All required fees, payment schedules, and long-term rental terms will be provided for review before the reservation is confirmed.

Clean Guarantee: All homes are backed by our 100% Clean Guarantee. Details are disclosed in your rental agreement.

Check-In / Check-Out:  Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We’re happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can’t be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets: Dog-friendly! Up to 2 dogs allowed with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.

Quiet Policy :This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren’t permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest’s name

Thanksgiving Holiday

"We rented this property over the Thanksgiving holiday to be housed close to family who did not have enough bedroom space for all of their invited guests. It is a bright, newer property in a tidy neighborhood close to Hwy 74. The property was very clean and well equipped for cooking although we did not cook there on our stay. The MBR bed was very comfortable. While this was not our circumstance, the MBR was well set up for person with physical limitations as was the rest of the house. The gas logs worked very well. We did not use the convenient screened porch as "feel like" temperatures were around 20 degrees Fahrenheit during our stay. We did notice some amount of road noise from nearby Hwy 74 but it was not a major issue for us and did not negatively impact our stay. We would consider renting here again next time we return to the Fairview area.

Awesome Location

"Home is in a awesome location, just about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway just 3 miles away! Feels like you are in the mountains but also close to everything! Visit to Biltmore less than 15 minutes! The beds are great , kitchen awesome and coffee and wine bar were perfect ! Fit for 6 adults was great ! East check in and very clean! If ever in Asheville again will stay!

Enjoyable Stay

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bird's Nest. We were visiting some relatives in Fairview for Christmas, and this cottage was just five minutes away from our family. It was super clean, very spacious, and outfitted very well. Plenty of fluffy towels and warm blankets. The beds were very comfortable. It is located just off a main road in a little neighborhood that may be made up of other vacation rentals. All of the houses in this little enclave were very charming and we never heard a peep from any other neighbors or the road. There is a little coffee shop within walking distance just down the hill. At the time of our visit, the Asheville area experienced a power outage (that only affected us for a couple hours), and the owners/managers checked in on us to make sure were were okay and were warm enough. They were easy to stay in contact with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nice Property

"Nice property, very clean and nice amenities. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and there is an Ingles market close as well. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the nearby highway noise wasn't a problem at night. Would definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful New Home

"Beautiful new home. Great location to EVERYTHING, in the case of going to Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain etc; yet it’s nestled in a quiet, quaint area. Has linens and even a cute area for puppy bowls and bags. Very warm and welcoming. I still wanna know where I can get a footstool like the one as you see opening the front door!!!. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

"It is just as it is pictured! It is decorated so cute! It was so clean and stocked with everything you would possibly need. It is in a great location you are about 10 minutes away from downtown and the view of the mountains is amazing! Will be recommending it to friends and family if staying in Asheville. "Beautiful location and an easy drive to downtown Asheville, we enjoyed our stay here. The amenities in the house itself are decent, and the neighborhood has some common use spaces with an outdoor fire place and fire pit which would be fantastic in the fall/winter. Overall we would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Place

"Wonderful place to stay! Perfect size for our family. VERY Clean! Comfortable amenities. We will definitely book again. Just be careful with the primary bathroom, because this home is ADA compliant based on what we saw, the primary bathroom shower will spill out onto the floor VERY easily. Needs to have a longer shower liner to keep the water in. Luckily I noticed it early enough to move the shower head and get the towel moved to soak up the water that was spilling out. But we really loved this place and will rent again.
