Beautiful house with a few small issues

"Overall, this was the perfect house for a large group. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was immaculately clean. My only issues were: WiFi (connection was poor overall, but you cannot get anything to stream at all in the basement theater). And lack of curtains/blinds in the bedrooms. This led to a lack of privacy and also the sun was extremely bright, early in the morning. It was hard to sleep in the master bedroom for this reason. Generally speaking, though, the house and setting were picturesque. If they hard wired the WiFi in the house and added some blinds, it would have been perfect.

A peaceful mountain getaway

"This was a fantastic property for us to gather with family and friends for a celebration. The house is huge and has plenty of space for privacy. We loved the sunrise views off the balcony, watching tv in the movie room, and soaking in the hot tub. We really appreciated all the baby friendly amenities like a high chair and pack-and-play. The drive up to the house is indeed very narrow and steep. The front steps are also a set of stones and hard to climb for some so keep in mind when loading/unloading. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay and would return (one of the kids was already asking if we could come back someday!)

"The house had a perfect amount of space for a large family especially when the weather was not so great. The views were amazing and the porches were great for meals, lounging, and coffee in the morning. There were clear instructions for everything in the house including the sound system, movie theatre, and games. All the bedrooms were spacious and fitted with comfortable beds/bedding. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want in it, including every appliance or utensil you would desire. We had an issue getting the heat on with the unseasonably cold weather during our stay, but the property management company was responsive and we got things solved quickly. The only gripe we had was one of the bathrooms had a bit of an an infestation with hundreds of dead ants on the floor...but we cleaned them up and they did not come back. It should be noted that the house is situated on top of a windy and remote road can be a little treacherous during bad weather. Great stay overall.

"Bear Vista was amazing. Took our adult kids and their significant others for a long weekend and no one wanted to leave. We had everything we needed. The house was comfortable and had many things to do when relaxing inside, from a large variety of games to a movie room, or just relaxing on one of the porches looking out at the mountains. It’s located a short drive from The Biltmore Estate and Asheville. Multiple stores nearby to pick up groceries and spirits. Yonder was quick to respond to questions and was a great host. Would definitely recommend Bear Vista. Great getaway.

"The kids loved the movie room and all the fun games the house provided. The house was very clean and breathtaking views. The only negative part of the house was the fireplace was not working (which I was informed of ahead of time but still disappointing) and unannounced visitors. The guy that attends to the hot tub and the trash service. Nothing bad, just unexpected. We would definitely stay here again!

"This place is THE PLACE TO STAY!!! We couldn’t have pictured a better weekend in the mountains. The views from the back are truly breathtaking. We loved waking up every morning to watch the sunrise and enjoyed a glass of wine on the back deck for sunset. On top of the amazing views the home decor in the house is insane - truly a luxurious experience (wait til you see the massive fireplace in the living room). "My boyfriend & I, family, & friends decided to rent this house for a quiet, relaxing New Years weekend. We were SO thrilled that we chose this property. The hosts attention to detail & accommodations were totally on par. Being about a 30-40 minute BEAUTIFUL & SCENIC drive away from the Cherokee casino allowed us to enjoy the secluded mountain top views but also dabble into night life. This home masters each and every detail you could ask for and i’m already looking to book my next trip. Fingers crossed they aren’t slammed pack in 2022… but if anyone else finds this hidden gem, they definitely will be. A+ experience. Thank you!!!

"This mountain home is an absolute dream! I stayed here for a weekend retreat with friends and it was above and beyond our expectations. The house has an unbelievable amount of space, brand new appliances in the kitchen for family dinners in, and the perfect game room and theatre on the bottom two floors. The views are unmatchable between the sunrises, mountain day views, and sunsets. I will definitely be back!

"Wow! Just wow! The second you pull up to this amazing property you are greeted with impeccable woodwork. The structure of the house is one of a kind, and when you walk in you are bombarded with the best views of the Smokey mountains! I loved waking up and drinking my coffee on the porch seeing the incredible views. Let alone, this house is huge! Incredible retreat

"Wow-where to begin! This place is absolutely incredible from the views to the amenities, every detail was taken of! We spent most of our time sitting on the deck in one of their many rocking chairs or laying on the outdoor daybed taking in the view! Loved that the kitchen is fully updated with new appliances making cooking feel like a luxurious experience! We had a large group travelling with us and there was plenty of space and seating for everyone to be comfortable! There are many ways to keep entertained (although the views are enough!) with games, puzzles, and easy to use TV's with streaming services. We are already planning our next trip back, thank you so much for a memorable trip!!!
