"The home was darling, exactly as the pictures show. We had more than enough space for our family of six. The kitchen had everything you need and more (griddles, crockpots, pots, pans, and utensils). Allot for more time than you’d think to get to and from the property. It takes about 25 minutes to get up the mountain. We tried Mars Hill and Weaverville for meals but had the best experiences in Asheville. Big Bald is super close and had the best 360 view!

"Amazing house, great location and fast communication from the management team! The only complaints are that the bedrooms didn't stay warm when doors were shut, and there were not enough and/or thick blankets. We would still stay here again in a heart beat...we'll just bring our own blankets!

"Decided to make a last minute booking and was thrilled by how well everything turned out for our family get away. Location, accommodations, service, communication and more was absolutely spot on. "This was a last minute stay and one of our best to date! Luckily the cabin was available and the Yonder team handled my reservation quickly so we could check in the next day. Communication was timely and thorough, the cabin was wonderful and the location / setting was just what we wanted. The cabin had all the comforts of home, good amenities for us to use, close proximity to Hatley ski resort, fantastic views and easier access than some we've stayed at. This was our first visit here but it will definitely not be our last, highly recommend!

"Excellent communicators and a beautiful home! It was my groups favorite vacation rental we’ve stayed in to date! Lovely area to hangout with a group and plenty of kitchen and sleeping space. The best part was that I had car troubles on Sunday and the host allowed me to push back check out a bit to accommodate me while I waited on triple A to come to the house! I would absolutely book this house again!

Great Christmas Getaway

"We had a wonderful stay at Bear and Bull Lodge. The property was beautiful and had stunning views. It was more than roomy enough for our party of 9 (ages 13-79). The kitchen was well equipped and we used it often in our stay. The only regret was that we didn’t spend more time in the home on vacation. We look forward to returning when Hayley Point Ski Resort completes their construction and opens which is just down the mountain from the property. Thank you for allowing our family to stay at your home. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Home!

"The house was exactly as pictured! It get very luxurious. It was very clean, with lots of amenities to make the stay comfortable - cookware, utensils, refrigerator with ice maker, towels, games. Showers were comfortable with ample hot water. The steep drive up was intimidating the first time for this Florida driver, but the roads were good and we did it in a minivan with no issues. Their instructions take you a long route - we used Google Maps and got to the house quicker. During our visit (March) the nighttime temperatures got down below 20 degrees but the house never got cold. The amazing view of the sunset from the porch was worth the visit! There was plenty of firewood, but you might pick up some fresh wood at the convenience store at the bottom of the mountain, because the wood at the house was old and wouldn't burn. We spent most of our vacation in Asheville, but we carved out a day just to relax in the house and play games in front of the fire because it was so comfortable.

Great Mountain Getaway

"Bear and Bull did not disappoint. The view is amazing. Be sure to catch the sunset! We were rained out for all the outdoor activities we had planned but we were still able to enjoy sitting outside under the covered deck. We stayed with dear friends and their children. The house is a great size for several families staying together. We all enjoyed everything Bear and Bull had to offer. Looking forward to staying here again!

Practically Perfect In Every Way

"Our recent stay at Bull and Bear Lodge was for my 70th birthday celebration with our family. It was a special birthday and Bull and Bear Lodge was the best possible place to celebrate. From the moment we walked into the front door and saw the view through the back windows we were all in awe of how absolutely perfect this place was for our family. As we explored the well-thought-out kitchen (we are foodies), the bedrooms, the ample places to truly kick back and relax, the outdoor hot tub, and the outdoor area to sit around a gas fire, we were even more enamored. It was CLEAN and I’m oh-so-particular, everything was in working order, and there was wood already cut for the beautiful indoor fireplace. The endless views of God’s gorgeous fall colors was a plus! Of course, we all loved being together cooking, adventuring, and playing lots of games – but honestly the highlight of our long weekend was where we were staying and the care that had gone into making our time there practically perfect in every way.

Warm and Cozy

"We had a mini family reunion in mid-October at the Bear and Bull Lodge. It is an amazing, beautiful house with a spectacular view of the mountains. (We were blessed with the peak of the fall colors that weekend.) The neighborhood is extremely quiet and there is not much traffic so we could easily take walks each day on the road. This house easily accommodated 6 adults and 5 children. It is warm and cozy and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking pots, pans and any needed utensil. Of course, the Xbox Console and hot tub were a major hit with the children despite the cold temperatures. The communications with Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals were flawless and the Yonder Team was a great help. We would definitely reserve this house again!

Gorgeous Cabin & Views!

"The cabin was gorgeous and the views were amazing. The inside was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware and was nice and open to main living area. There was a Bluetooth speaker in main living area that we enjoyed using to listen to music while spending time with family and relaxing. We had 5 adults & 5 kids and felt as though we had plenty of space. Outdoor views were amazing! Very peaceful area with deer walking around the property and picture perfect views of the mountains. About 35 minutes to downtown Asheville, but not a bad drive. Weaverville is closer and had a few restaurants that were good choices. Overall we enjoyed the cabin and would highly recommend it to others.

Magic!

"Bear and Bull is Pure Magic! We visited over a long weekend with three families - 6 adults and 6 children ages 9-13. We had a ton of snow which was awesome - allowed the kids to snow sled right in the driveway and run around in the yard playing, building snow forts, drinking hot chocolate etc. The kitchen is full stocked with large pots & pans for cooking, double ovens came in handy too. Outside the house we visited the Wolf Provisions General Store which was awesome, snow tubed (exhilarating), and went to lunch in Weaverville at Soba Sushi and Noodles which was delicious with great service. We definitely plan on going again bc it was such a great family time.

"My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful setting of Bear and Bull. The home was well appointed and very welcoming. "This is a beautiful cabin - we spent a week here working remotely (the wifi is great) and enjoyed the time very much. The sunsets and view of the mountains are incredible. We enjoyed cooking and the cabin has a fantastic kitchen. It does take about 10 minutes to drive out of the private community, so do make sure to stock up in Asheville or Mars Hill. Yonder is also very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend for a quiet escape into the mountains!

"This was an absolutely wonderful cabin high up in a picturesque mountain setting. The back deck view was beautiful and the hot tub was a real highlight for our 6 and 9 year olds (and the grownups!)! "We really enjoyed the amenities provided at bull and bear. Kitchen gear is top notch and the master bedroom was luxurious. We were impressed with how much was provided with the house (cleaning supplies, towels, games, kitchen items etc) but would have liked to have access to a broom or vacuum to clean up after ourselves. But the sunset views cannot be beat and we would come back for more! We drove to bald mountain (20 min away) and hiked 6 miles on the Appalachian trail!

"We had the best time at Bear and Bull! The home is immaculate (I'm really picky), nicely decorated, and has everything you could possibly need! On a chilly day we had our pick of several fun games or a puzzle. Cool wireless speaker if you like listening to music. If we wanted to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped. Beds super comfy and linens were very nice and plenty of towels. The furniture is comfortable and ample. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are spectacular. It was also fun to sit out on the spacious deck and watch skiiers fly down the mountain! We so enjoyed taking walks, and enjoyed the nature all around us! We can't wait to go back in the summer! And maybe the fall as well!

"Perfect spot for a long weekend or a week away. Very spacious with plenty of room for multiple families to share. The house was top-notch with amazing views - especially while relaxing in the hot tub. Everything we needed was provided. It’s located in a cozy mountainous area where it’s easy to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Great hiking and lots of outdoor activities are nearby. Grocery store is down the mountain, so stock up on supplies on your way up and you’ll be all set for a fantastic getaway!

"Beautiful views, beautiful kitchen, very comfortable luxurious home. The hot tub view is amazing. We were surprised that the downstairs fireplace does not work, but other than that there were no unhappy surprises. We had some trouble with getting the downstairs heated, but the owners responded right away and helped us get the heat going downstairs. The home is fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

Mountain Retreat

"Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of heaven on the mountain with us! Such a PERFECT place and the views are unmatched. The proximity to the ski resort was so nice. Just drive down the hill. The cabin had everything necessary and then some. You thought of everything!

Great family spot!

"The house was quiet and felt secluded, which was amazing! But it was still close to the ski slopes and town, which was really convenient. The house itself is clean, well laid out, and has a huge kitchen and living area perfect for hanging out all together. The kids loved watching the skiers head down one of the runs that you could see from the balcony. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

"We had such a great time at the Bear and Bull Lodge. The house was the perfect for our trip to the ski slope with 2 other families. We had 10 people in our party and never once felt crowded, and the proximity to the ski hill was unbeatable! The house is fully equipped with everything you need, with a spacious kitchen and dining area for family meals. The layout of the house was a huge bonus - allowed for adult time in the upstairs living room while the kids hung out in the downstairs living room. The view from the back porch is amazing. We were there when there was snow on the mountain and fog in the mornings and we were blown away. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the remainder of the year. Hope to get back one summer and explore the property and the hiking trails!

Great family getaway!

"We had an amazing weekend at Bear and Bull Lodge! We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space. Gorgeous view of the mountains as well as the ski slope! We loved the convenience of the ski slopes. The lodge itself was was absolutely spotless! Perfect layout for a family or even multiple families. We will definitely be back to the Bear and Bull lodge!
