Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; the Bent Creek Bistro allows you to grab a quick bite to eat while admiring the beautiful nature of the Arboretum.  

The menu changes seasonally to take advantage of fresh local ingredients all year long. Lately, guests have enjoyed dishes like the Trail Mix Chicken Salad, Handmade Quiche, Beer Cheese and Pretzels, and House Creamy Tomato Bisque.

Hours, Directions, and Pricing

Guests are welcome to visit the North Carolina Arboretum from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily between April and October. If you’re visiting between November and March, stop by from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The North Carolina Arboretum is located at 20 Frederick Law Olmsted Way in Asheville. The best way to reach this destination is to make your way to Brevard Road/Highway 191 and drive in the right lane, eventually becoming a “turn only” lane. You’ll then turn right at the traffic light; then you’ll see the entrance gate to the North Carolina Arboretum come up on the right.
