Location: Private home located in a private mountain community, at the crest of Town Mountain, just outside of downtown Asheville. App. 10 minutes outside of downtown Asheville, 30 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, 20 minutes to the gates of Biltmore Estate.

What You Can Expect: Town Mountain Breeze is a comfortable mountain retreat, built for relaxation, with vaulted spaces, upscale finishes, and hard wood floors throughout. You are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! "We had a truly wonderful stay here! The place looks just like the photos and it’s incredibly convenient to get into town. We had a car which made it a little easier, but it’s accessible via Uber and Lyft as well. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for a short or long stay in Asheville.

"Fantastic place! The pictures are nice, but in reality it was even better! Great location in Asheville, a short mountain road drive to the city below. You feel like you’re secluded while home, but in minutes you’re eating great BarBQue or touring the Biltmore! Place is clean, modern, and has everything you could want. Gas fireplace was amazing, vaulted ceilings, and the enclosed room with the outside views was the best! Great internet, Netflix, beautiful kitchen, outside areas! Just get this place! We will 100% be back! (My only negative would be the extremely firm bed in the master suite).

100 Times Better In Person

"I think this is the first time I’ve written a review but this one certainly deserves it. The house looks beautiful in pictures, but in person is 100 times better. Location is prime. Just 10 min away from Downtown Asheville without sacrificing the views from the mountain. Calm neighborhood and the house was spotless. I would recommend it to anybody that wants to visit Asheville!

"Everything was beautiful as was communication. The location was absolutely perfect! We were so happy we didn’t go with our first thoughts of houses deep in the woods, but we’re at least 30 minutes away from anything. This house has the same feel but with 10 minute access to downtown. Absolutely best decision for out trip! I will say, as a runner, it was nothing but hills out the door, but many locations to run around beautiful Asheville. Cyclists…there were many that were on the main road to the house, but I’m thinking advanced cyclists. Definitely recommend!

"The home was lovely. The only hitch was someone locked the deadbolt from the inside so someone had to come out to the property to let us in. Overall though, we enjoyed our time there and would love to come back for a visit in the future.

"Great location, just a 9 minute uber/lyft or Asheville taxi ride into downtown, but still provides the tranquil/mountain experience. Every time we were out, we couldn't wait to get back to the house to relax by the fire or sit in the glassed in sitting room! Couldn't recommend a spot more highly. Only challenge is the driveway is a bit steep as to be expected so just be prepared/aware if you have any folks that might struggle with that.

"Very nice house with lots of thoughtful touches and all the amenities you need. Excellent location, just like a 5-10 min short drive from downtown Asheville up the mountain where you feel already in the woods, full of nature in a very nice neighborhood. Beautiful patio with some huge trees. We were 3 people, had a great stay at this wonderful house. Definitely recommended.

"This house is simply beautiful and perfectly located near everything in Asheville. We had such a nice and relaxing time. "Our stay couldn't have been better. The location is just what we wanted- remote but not too far from downtown Asheville. It is a 10 minute drive up a mountain road. It was easy to find and easy to access. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Heed the warnings not to leave food/garbage outside as bears and other animals will surely be attracted. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a black bear amble through the backyard. If we ever head back to Asheville, we will surely try to stay here again.

Loveliest Mountain Stay

"Deborah’s place was a gem to visit. It is tucked adorably on the mountain and is a convenient 10 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Unlike most rentals, this home is clearly well loved by Deborah and her husband. It included many things required for a long term stay, such as proper knives, spices, nice mattresses, a grill, and toiletries. We were fortunate to spend a month in her home and by the end of our stay, it felt more like home than our own. Daily, we were able to hike up the mountain and enjoy the gorgeous views. Deborah also was incredibly hospitable and sent incredible recommendations for skiing (Appalachian Mountain), live music (ISIS venue, forgive the name), waterfall hike (Crabtree falls), restaurants (Curate and the Market Place), and finally, the Biltmore Estates. Not to mention, she had a remote controlled fireplace that we used every night! It was cozy all around and perfect for a romantic getaway. Will be back again soon :)
