You are greeted by the cozy living room with big screen tv, equipped with streaming options. Once upstairs, this charming cottage features an open, fully equipped kitchen, dining space and den with a gas fireplace.

Step out onto the large deck overlooking the lake and take in the mountain view. Whether you are enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or the sunset in the evening, you'll find it hard to pull yourself away from this space. And don't forget about the screened in porch that has almost as good of a view as the upper deck.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the cottage is located in a very private and quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

PETS: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.

"Super clean! Beautiful inside and out! Love the gas stove and fire place. I bought a new bulb for the sconce in the stairway because it was burnt out and left an extra that they can put in one of the cabinets if it burns out again. (Those bulbs typically don’t last.) Overall high fives to all and a five star rating!

"Wonderful setting, great accommodations, management company was wonderful to communicate with. Would definitely rent again. If you like to walk there is the Blue Wall Preserve a half mile from the rental. A very nice out and back walk of 3.5 miles past two ponds and a couple of waterfalls. For a longer hike you can do the Vaughns Gap Trial. Trees still had a lot of color.

"Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the location, the views from the living room facing to the lake was awesome. "Beautiful place to stay, quiet, clean, very quaint, only downfall after checking in received email that the Internet and Wi-Fi was down for the remainder of the weekend, so no work was accomplished and most importantly, no opening day college football on TV.

"My second stay here and it won’t be the last… I love this house. It’s so cozy and comfortable to me and the view is just amazing. Last time all we did was wander out to the grocery store, this time I actually left the house and went to all the antique shops. They redid the landscape since last year and added boulders and river rock and mulch, beautiful…a nice big umbrella was added to the upstairs deck which was a great addition, was able to spend more time on upstairs deck. When it gets too buggy or rains you have the huge downstairs screened in porch, I can just imagine what it looks like when the leaves start changing colors! Can’t wait to get back!

"This place was excellent. Very peaceful surroundings and great view of the lake. Place looks exactly like the pictures. Not much in the way of restaurants or bars nearby, but if you travel 15 mins+ there are several options. Driveway is steep but definitely do not need 4x4. Will stay here again.
