The kitchen opens up to the family room, affording a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is together, and hanging out after a long day exploring downtown. There are 4 TV’s, stereo with iPod dock, & wi-fi for your laptops. A pack n’ play is available for your little one which means one less thing you need to bring on your vacation!

Nice Property

"The property was neat and clean however, we arrived after dark and it was difficult to find and was not lit up at all on the outside. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find the front door, and, since it was raining when we arrived, the entry was slippery on the loose rocks and railroad ties for steps and had no outside lights to see this by. The light in the bathroom downstairs stopped working and we had to use the light in the laundry area to see by. Also, the step between the hall way is a little dangerous and several of our group tripped on it a number of times. It should be either leveled with a small ramp or marked. Luckily no one was hurt. Overall, it is a very nice place and served our needs splendidly.

"The location was perfect, close enough to everything, while being quiet and restful. The house had everything we would ever need, very clean and stocked, 3 bdrms and 3 baths perfect for our family to be together without being "on top" of each other. The massage chair , was amazing, and the deck and yard, playing bags in the sunshine, and a grill and a smoker. You have thought of everything. And 2 coffee pots..HEAVEN

"Cove Cottage is convenient to everything but far enough away to be quiet. The deck is especially nice to sit back and relax. We would definitely look to stay there again for our next Asheville visit. It's worth noting too that they were willing to accommodate a last minute request to check-in a little early since we were ahead of schedule.

"Very nice property, good sized rooms and nice beds (though no sleep number bed, I don’t think, as the site says). Kitchen well stocked except for a few basic spices (only salt). Nice deck with working gas grill. There are two side chairs in the family room that both have wobbly legs. We didn’t have hot water at first but this was fixed quickly.

"Very quiet and peaceful and yet so close to downtown Asheville. House was very clean and well equipped. Loved sitting on the back deck in the evenings. I would just caution others traveling by motorcycles that the sloping driveway is gravel which can be a bit tricky but actual parking space is paved.

"Very comfortable home. Perfect for our reunion of 3 ladies - we each had our own bedroom and bath. Nicely updated kitchen. Very convenient location. Yonder was very responsive to minor issues we had. Would be nice if you could provide some guidance on the TV and remotes. We got it to work, although the last night we couldn't access netflix. The visit from the mama bear and 2 cubs provided an unexpected highlight of our trip.

"This was a really nice property. Comfortable and well equipped. It is in a very quiet location but only 5 minutes away from downtown which is great for those looking for a peaceful time. My only one feedback is that the televisions need to be brought into the 21st century. The remotes are really old and its not possible to access any streaming services even with one's own account.

"Cute house, exterior does look like a cottage. Overall good value, very close to downtown. We had all of the necessities and more. Very clean and well taken care of. Things they cannot control: the unpaved street leading down to the cottage was in rough shape and our Ubers refused to drive down to pick us up.

"Excellent location for family reunion. Near town, but tucked into the mountains. House was comfortable and spacious enough for everyone to spread out. Minor problems quickly addressed by management. Bear sauntering across deck provided excitement. We arrived after dark & wished we had a flashlight to navigate to front door.

"We had a great time at Cove Cottage. The gravel drive to get down to the house is a little rough, so go slow, but other than that we had a great trip. The house is very clean! We had 3 couples staying and the 3 separate bedrooms offer a lot of privacy. The house has a big yard and a great porch to enjoy. Would recommend staying here in the future!

"Our first impression as we stepped into Cove Cottage was this felt like "home away from home". It was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and smelled fresh. The common areas are spacious and comfortable. The bedroom suites upstairs were private, comfortable, and well furnished. The remote location was most welcome at the end of long, busy days. We found the large deck was perfect for fresh-air relaxation any time, Happy Hours, or socializing while grilling. A well appointed kitchen has everything needed to cook as much or as little as you would choose. The location within minutes of a grocery store, gas stations and restaurants enabled us to quickly stock up on groceries and settle in before dinner. There is easy access to major roads and freeways to get downtown, restaurants, and to other attractions quickly. We will definitely refer this property to our friends, and make every effort to stay here again on our next trip to Asheville.

"We had a good stay at the Cove Cottage. We were there during a severe storm, so we experienced a few negative things - one of which being the toilets not flushing. But good communication with maintenance, who contacted us and could get a plumber to us in an hour. But we were lucky that everything started working eventually. The location was great, about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville so we went to breweries and restaurants during our stay.

"We had four adults and three children, and there was good space for everyone to stretch out. Appliances were all in perfect working order. Took a second to figure out the washer and dryer were adjacent to the downstairs bathroom. If you do opt to use Waze/Google/Apple Maps, yes you do make a turn down that dirt road to get there! :)

"The house was very clean and was well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, tableware and pots and pans. The Bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent and the linens were like new. I would recommend this house to anyone. Only problem is it is a little hard to find. I would suggest that owners put a small sign with street address at driveway entrance.

"We wanted to spend some quality time with the immediate family, which has been difficult due to COVID-19, especially since we have multiple e healthcare providers in the family. This was a great location, easy to get to all areas in Asheville! We thoroughly enjoyed the Biltmore and multiple breweries! Overall, a great time was had by all!! We highly recommend this location!

"I stayed at the Cozy Cottage in March 2021. This was my first experience using VRBO. The house was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept very well. It was very quick and easy to get to nearby groceries, gas, and restaurants. Downtown Asheville is also surprisingly close considering how the house's location feels entirely non-urban. The only room for improvement is additional towel hooks, which is such a minor issue. Would definitely stay here again!
