Welcome to Casa Colibrí! Located 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, this private home is surrounded by amenities and outdoor activities to enjoy. There's plenty of space for multiple guests and families to spread out, relax and make Casa Colibrí the ideal vacation home to come back to after exploring everything these mountains have to offer. The space and charm of Casa Colibrí is evident as soon as you walk through the doors. You'll be greeted on the main level by the Great Room with vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows to let lots of natural warm sunlight in. There's also a wood burning fireplace, lots of seating, a fully stocked kitchen and a dining table that seats eight. You'll have easy access to the large back deck with plenty of seating plus a gas BBQ surrounded by tall red and white oak trees.

In the upper level, there's a large open loft are with a flat screen TV with books, board games, air hockey for the whole family and plenty of seating on a huge sofa.

The lower terrace level, you'll have more space to relax plus another fully stocked kitchen!

You're very close to Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, the Biltmore Estate or the Blue Ridge Parkway and if you'd rather hang out and relax at Casa Colibrí, there's also a fire pit in the backyard!

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home is located in a very private and quiet neighborhood. Parties, loud noise, and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"We stayed at Casa Colibri for a family holiday and enjoyed the cozy house together while still having space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked, making family dinners very easy. The house is located about 20min from most of Asheville and Fairview had several spots great for drinks and food. Overall, our stay was stress free. Yonder was very responsive and easy to contact. We would stay again!

"Casa Colibri and Yonder helped my family have the best holiday vacation ever! The accommodations were comfortable for three families to come together but had room to spread out. The game room and air hockey table kept the kids entertained. The mountain views, firepit and quiet neighborhood made us feel safe and at home. The location was close enough to Asheville and had many activities, groceries, and restaurants. The home was clean and well-stocked. Yonder was very accommodating to our specific needs and responded quickly. Thank you to the homeowners for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back.

Even Better Then We Expected

"We spent a a week at Casa Colibri. The property was even better than we expected. It was spacious enough for 9 people in 3 three families, remote enough for privacy but close enough to Asheville. Casa Calibri experience

"Casa Calibri was away from road construction on the Interstate and the in-town Asheville traffic and higher cost of rentals. However, it close enough to places of our interests that we could easily arrive in a short amount of time. The house was well supplied and clean. Our only suggestion would be that the directions for the thermostats and tv's would be located next or near the controls. That said, maintenance was prompt, proficient, and professional in helping us.

"Great rental. Our family included a 94 yr old, a 90 yr old, a 3 month old and a toddler. This house accommodated everyone beautifully. Good outdoor space, spacious kitchen, downstairs kitchen with extra refrigerator was key. Usually places say they have good internet but don't. This house actually did. And there was a walk in closet that functioned as a second office that could be closed off. Finally, kudos to the owners for doing a really good house manual. Not only did it list the obvious, they included the games in the house and books! No house is perfect, but this was very close.

Quality Family Time in Fairview

"This was a perfect location for our family vacation. We had activities in Lake Lure, Brevard and Asheville. The house was central to all of these areas. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Loved watching the hummingbirds off the back decks (yes, decks, there are 2!). We watched movies a couple nights on the big sectional in the loft after long days of hiking. The house had so many essentials. It was a great space for our family of 6. Thank you!

"Nestled among the woods in a quiet quaint community, this home is so quiet and comfortable. It is spacious with many areas to hang out - indoors or outdoors. The beds are comfortable with luxurious linens. The kitchen is bright, modern and well equipped. Everything you need for a few days or a longer stay. Would definitely recommend.

"Absolutely gorgeous space! Could not believe the amount of space and the quality and cleanliness of the furnishing and details. "I am so happy that I found this place for an extended stay in October. The home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. While I did travel to Asheville several times to visit my daughter and son-in-law and for some shopping, I also enjoyed the Fairview area. There are several local breweries and a few great restaurants in the area within 5-10 minutes. Excellent hosts and I would stay again when I’m in the area. The suite was impeccably clean and well stocked. They were very conscientious about COVID safety and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

"Stayed here for a long-term rental and had an amazing time. The suite is clean, big yet cozy, and had excellent wifi. The balcony is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Special touches and kindness provided throughout our entire time. We were sad to go. Quick and easy to get to Asheville and hikes in the area. Overall a must stay in Asheville!!!

"Great lil gem!! Very spacious basement apart….really spacious!! Living, dining and kitchen (all well equipped) even bathroom was large with nice shower. Bedroom was also spacious and comfortable…nice large windows for light and see woodsy area…the deck was so very ice to sit and rock away!! Convenient parking to door of apartment…we will stay again…Definitely recommend!!

Private, Very Accessible

"This place is fantastic! Comfortable, cozy, beautiful views of the trees. Private. Very accessible - great for folks with mobility issues or creaky joints (ie. If stairs are usually an issue, this place is smooth sailing) Only 20 min from downtown Asheville by car. And so comfortable you’ll probably take your time in the morning too, drinking tea or coffee on the porch. The hosts were wonderful communicators, available for questions, and provide some really nice personal touches for your stay. If you’re new to Asheville, or visiting again, this is a great place to call home-away-from-home. I highly recommend: *for vegan eats*- Blue Dream Curry House (downtown), Pulp & Sprout Juice Bar (North Avl), Green Sage Cafe (multiple locations)…for beer & food: Wicked Weed Brewing, Asheville Brewing Company.

Spacious, Comfortable, Clean

"Exactly what we wanted. This place is probably the most quality and best equipped rental home we’ve stayed in. It’s spacious, comfortable, clean, very good quality of everything. Oh and you wake up to views that make you feel like you’re staying in a treehouse. The hosts were also really supportive of us bringing our nearly 6 month old and the bedroom has more than enough room for a travel crib and the kitchen sink is a perfect size shape for a baby bath! This is probably a go-to spot for us now when we want to return to Asheville. (Also, we loved Bearwallow Mountain trail as a short and lovely hike close by and Fairview has good brewery options). Thanks!
