You'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay in this one-bedroom cottage with an additional sleep sofa. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen with modern finishes and appliances, as well as a cozy living space. Kitchen bar seating is available or step out onto the deck to enjoy the wooded views and spacious yard while you grill up your favorite meal on the gas grill.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the property is located in a quiet community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog-friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130, and there is a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

Military Discount: We have tremendous respect and gratitude for former and present military personnel. Yonder would like to offer a 5% discount on this home. Some restrictions apply, not valid with any other offers. The only thing we ask is that you present identification in the form of a “CAC” card or a “DD Form 2” card (Blue & Green). I Would Definitely Stay Again

"Had a great stay at this private cabin in Rutherfordton! It was modern, clean, private, and well maintained. It has everything you need with a washer, dryer, well equipped kitchen, and gas grill on the deck. I would definitely stay again! Recommend checking out the Purple Martin Greenway if you are looking for a multipurpose trail. Forest City has a nice downtown with a retro feel, with food options like Slim chicken and ice cream at Scoop.

"We booked the Bluebird Lookout for a New Year’s getaway, and it was everything we were looking for! Peaceful, cozy, and very nice amenities - we loved sitting on the porch to drink coffee in the morning. Also, Asheville and Lake Lure were easy drives for day tripping. We would definitely return!

"The Yonder property was beautifully decorated and had good amenities -- dishes, glasses, linens, and bath soaps. The location is very private and quiet, and we slept extremely well while we were there. This was our second time staying in this property, and we will definitely come back!

"Bluebird Lookout was nice and relaxing. The sound of the birds chirping and the surrounding forest was a real treat. Me and my wife enjoyed the amenities provided along with the access to other surrounding towns and national forests. The only issue was all the windows not having curtains or blinds but the mountain experience made up for so I'm not going to complain. Thank you to those at Yonder for that wonderful experience.

"New clean private oasis to just chill out and get away. Great front porch, side deck and fire pit. Just outside several small towns with some great local restaurants and shops. Easy driving distance to lots of tourist draws like Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and Asheville. We stayed 10 days this time and would book again if in the area.

"We found this unit to be just as described. Possibly, even more cozy than it looked. We used the fire pit and had to round up our own firewood from the surrounding wooded area, but there was plenty of already fallen branches, etc. that we didn't have to look too hard. We particularly enjoyed the deer grazing at the edge of the property as we enjoyed our coffee on the porch each morning. Property was very private, but still within easy access to the local stores and restaurants.
